If you have a real emergency, make sure to call to see if they're open first, before you go to this location. Not always open 24 hours on a Sunday. They might just unexpectedly leave a "closing early tonight" sign on their door which you won't know about til you get there. By then your pet might not make it...

If I could give it zero stars that is what it truly deserves it says it’s open 24 hours but was close. I had called multiple time and i only got a voicemail they have poor customer service.ZERO STARS.

If I could give a 0 I would. They open at 6pm. My dog has a cut on her neck from the groomers. There are no other open vet clinics I can go to and It’s an emergency. It’s 7pm and they haven’t answered any of my calls nor have they opened …

Money driven, they don’t care about the pets it the bottom dollar they care about. If you don’t have an emergency but a surgery go to Litchfield vet. They only do what is necessary and under half the cost. It’s worth the drive!

I called and talked to Kenzie and she was 100000% more than helpful. i was worried about covid with my young cat and she helped me with all symptoms, the right time to call/take her to medical emergencies, etc. she took so much weight off my chest letting me know everything and letting me know i can call back for more questions. she goes out of her way for the animals and is in the job for all the fright reasons. PLEASE GIVE HER A RAISE. this is an amazing place to call for emergencies, worries, etc. love it.

This place is only concerned with how much money you can pay and if you can’t they recommend euthanasia- my dog Trixie was so sick and I will say if I hadn’t brought her there she would have died. They rushed her in but money was the first topic - they estimated her to be there from Friday night to Monday and it would be $7,000 - they wanted $3400 down to start and I don’t have that - then euthanasia came up and they said they’d perform the procedure for free if I didn’t have more money then where we were at but I couldn’t have her body back - we discussed payments but only if I chose “end of life services” I asked for antibiotics to be administered and would take her home but I was short that money too and was told I couldn’t make payments for even $200 - I’m so glad I didn’t put her down. She’s a fighter and after a friend (her rescuer) sent me the money she was given the meds and we slept in the bathroom doing steam showers for her pneumonia- she is slowly pulling through. You should be more concerned about the lives you can save and not how much you can gain on a crisis- lower your prices. It greedy

We had to bring our puppy here after he got into it with his big little brother. We were worried because it was after 10pm. We called and the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. We brought him in and they got us in immediately - no wait. The veterinarian was friendly and got our pup cleaned up right away. All the staff were so nice to our dog. You can tell they truly care about their jobs and helping animals. The doctor was very candid about costs, and gave us multiple options for what we could do. The price was reasonable given the circumstances. We would highly recommend Blue Pearl to anyone who is has an animal emergency.

This place is god awful and cruel. We brought our dying dog which was in severe pain to get uthanized and before they would let us in they forced us to walk all the way back to our vehicle, call them over the phone and answer 25 different questions while our dog is literally dying in our arms. After that we went inside and instead of showing empathy and care the first thing they ask about is money like they thought we were going to run out on them after the uthanization. This place is disgusting and I do not recommend anyone go there unless there's no other option.

Garbage. Some reason my wife was vocal bout our pet. Pretty sure ava is about to pass. They refused to see her. My dog is not good and probably gonna die. They said no. Cool let her die. Great vet.... jk

Would give 0 stars. They don’t truly care about your pet, only the money. Only come here if it’s a last resort

It’s absolutely never fun for pet owners to have an emergency vet visit, and it was absolutely awful to see our poor girl in pain. However, it must be noted the staff was amazing, the service was incredible, and our dog was well cared for. We were updated of everything going on during the process and felt very informed. Thank you for the incredible service, and while I was very impressed I hope we don’t have to make another emergency visit !

We had a wonderful experience with Blue Pearl. I felt like the care my cat received was great and Dr. Brenda Harder was wonderful. I can imagine this is a very stressful job, but she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as was all the other staff. Took a few hours to get in but I feel like that had to be expected with all different types of cases coming in and because my cat was very feisty. Gave me a solid overview for discharge instructions. Overall, incredibly pleased.

My son’s cat was bitten by a dog and he brought her to the Blaine clinic Thursday night 10/21/21 and they refused to see her. They said emergencies only. He begged and told the woman she has a hole in her chest the size of a golf ball. She still refused services and told him all the clinics will refuse her. It wasn’t about money either. He had plenty with him. Shame on them and Rest In Peace Kiki!!! I have been passing the word to everyone that has pets Unfortunately my grandchildren had to watch their family member die!! Thanks again for caring about the animals!!! DISGUSTING ????

The quality of care was great, after my dog was hit by a car I brought her in and they were great. I was frantic and did not realize that they closed at 8am so I didn't realize that I needed to pick her up before then. I was 6 minutes late and had called to tell them that. When I got there to pick her up the receptionist was very rude and nasty to me. I wasn't familiar with the process of having her transferred to another clinic and was on the phone with my clinic trying to find out if they would be able to take her as she needed surgery to fix a broken leg. The receptionist told me I needed to bring her in somewhere either to my clinic or a 24 hour care clinic, I said that's what I was trying to figure out! My clinic was 45 minutes away and the 24 hour clinic was 15 minutes away, had I drove to my clinic and been turned away I would have had to drive over an hour back to the 24 hour clinic! I couldn't contact my clinic as they didn't open til 8 and it turned out they wouldn't have been able to take her anyways so I was glad I waited til 8am to pick her up anyway! Their protocol for transferring animals for further evaluation and care needs a little improvement. I get it, that they were there overnight and spent a busy night with countless emergencies and people they were tired as well. But that doesn't give them the right to be rude and nasty to people who are going through the emergencies with their beloved pet and spending thousands of dollars doing so.... Needless to say after the rudeness of the receptionist and after thousands of dollars I spent later my dog got the much needed surgery to repair her leg.

I hade never been more insulted in my life. After calling this place they said first come first serve. 5 hour's later they did agree to see my cat, they came back and said it's diabetes and a low temperature. Said it would be about $3000.00 for about 12 hour's of care. All I had to do was wait till 8pm for the money, they said they needed the money in 30 minutes..I'll never know if my little girl Myla would have survived.. I ONLY begged to go here after EVERY Vet was booked.. Made me feel like I did something wrong, constantly was bringing up money. RIP BABY GIRL I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU AND I'M SO SORRY I EVER BROUGHT YOU TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE

I would give this place no stars if I could. This place is a joke.. We bought our dog there because he was playing and he jumped off the couch and what we thought broke his leg. We took him there and the person who saw him takes him back for a bit then brings him back out pulling him fast on his leash trying to make him walk on his leg. Then she tells us he only hurt his knee and because we spoil him he was just being lazy and little dogs like drama. She didn't want to give him nothing for pain and just told us to take him home a force him to walk on his leg so he started to use it again. We were kind of relieve but still uncertain she knew what she was talking about. Getting home we knew there was something more wrong and took him to our vet first thing in the morning and here his leg was broke where he had a clean break. Then this is suppose to be a emergency pet hospital but the only animals they were seeing were two poor dogs they were putting down. Yet we sat there for extended amounts of time with other people waiting to have our pets looked at. Then we called back the next day and told them about there wring diagnosis and the girl laughs at us like it is a joke.

We cannot say enough good things about our experience at Blue Pearl Blaine. They went above and beyond in both of our recent experiences with them.

I had to take me sweet dog there to cross the rainbow bridge at midnight Labor Day. They were very kind. I was grateful for their service. I did not want to wait till morning to see my regular vet. My dog was just too sick. I appreciated their care.

Contrary to the statement on their website that says they take dogs with medical issues ranging from “minor infections to life-threatening trauma”, they only take animals in CRITICAL condition. I ended up calling after my husband was turned away. The receptionist was bitter and condescending, and finally said we could come back and take VITALS, but that was it. He ate a rotisserie chicken….. we had been watching him a few days and he was showing new signs of distress. My husband said she was not friendly either , and didn’t go back for the vitals.

If I could give this place a zero I would I have a dog that I don’t think is going to make it. We were turned away last night. Went back tonight and were turned away again. I called the clinic and was told to bring my dog in. Once we arrived we were turned away for a 3rd time. I thought this was a place that saves pets. Now we just have to hope our dog lives through yet another night. What an absolute joke of a pet hospital! Stay away from this place pets are not a priority for these people. The ladies that answer the phone are absolutely crass and have the bedside manor of a sassy 13 year old girl.

I took my Aussie here in july of 2020 after she made an executive decision to eat an entire flip flop, I found only a few small pieces of it in the floor and my dog vomiting chunks of flip flop and likely regretting her poor decision making skills. unfortunately my vet couldn't get her in, so I loaded her up and brought her down to blue pearl just to make sure she wasn't at risk for an obstruction. The staff were wonderful, I did have to wait about an hour and a half, which is completely understandable, while the issue was potentially serious, we had an issue that wasn't as urgent so our estimated wait of 30 minutes was bumped up due to other folks showing up with more urgent needs and since our dog wasn't showing any serious signs of distress, I totally get it. When they did finally get her in they had her for a while, took some x-rays, went over the findings and sent her home after giving her medication for possible nausea since they did not see any signs that the pieces of the shoe would cause any issues. Shoes are now kept locked away in the closet, and I'm thankful for the peace of mind the visit gave us. The staff were friendly and nice, and I feel like the care I received for the price was reasonable given the circumstances, I knew going in that it was going to be expensive since its an emergency vet, Thank you for taking good care of Alice and making sure she was okay!

They require you to call from your car and they do not actually have any doctors available over the weekend. So if you have a pet emergency over the weekend just save yourself the trip and drive farther away.

It only gets a 1 star rating for the fact that it's at least an emergency option. We brought our dog in after he was bit on his eye and ear by another dog late last night. His eye was swollen and bleeding, his ear was swollen and bleeding...after waiting to be seen for almost two hours, a staff tells us it will be another 2-3 hours before a vet can see him. In all this time, a tech did not offer to clean up the blood or just his face in general or offer anything for pain. We decided since the bleeding had stopped while there, and at this point it was 2am, to bring him home and clean what we could and bring him somewhere different in the morning. When we told the tech this, they didn't even give us any tips on cleaning or signs to watch for the rest of the night that would mean to bring him back ASAP. I truly hope other Blue Pearl locations are better. I will never suggest the Blaine location to anyone.

Took my senior dog there in an emergency as I believed she was having a seizure. The staff ran outside to the parking lot to help get my dog inside ASAP as I could not lift her myself. The staff was friendly, nice and informative. We did wait a very long time (5+ hours) to see the vet. But, overall, we were happy with the care from Blue Pearl.

An emergency vet should be able to take in an injured animal, especially with an empty parking. The lady that answered the phone was very rude with me when I tried explaining the issue to try and get my kitten in. Very unprofessional and should not be allowed to call themselves an emergency vet.

They certainly don't make you feel important or offer even understanding. The doctor was the rudest I've ever seen. You'll wait hours, for really nothing to be accomplishment, and they don't seem to mind that. Don't go there unless it's your absolute last resort.

Blue Pearl killed my dog. They overly charged for services not needed, did not send home antibiotics or fluids, told me to go to a low income vet if their prices were too high (a 6k surgery), charged over 2k for an un-needed procedure. She would have survived with proper care and or instructions.
