I scheduled a Monday appointment for my dog who had a limp. Only called them because our usual vet was booking out a ways. I was asked for payment over the phone at the time of scheduling. Seemed odd, but really didn’t give it much thought. She ended up improving considerably over the weekend, so I decided to cancel. When I asked about the deposit, I was rudely told I lose it because cancellation was within 24 hours of appointment. Who does this?? They can keep the $69 if they need it that bad. It’s the last they’ll ever get from me.

I saw Dr. Oltman, I really felt like he took the time to listen to my concerns, as well as provided realistic goals, and not ultimatums. Highly recommend

They cared for my pup all the way to the end. Can't thank them enough.

Everyone was so nice, patient & professional! Each test & procedure was fully explained along with the cost. We received clear instructions for our at home care. They truly love animals!????

I am leaving this review early prior to picking her up because they were the only Vet clinic to get my Stella in on short notice. And for that they deserve 5 stars.

Had a terrible experience at Blaine Veterinary Clinic. My two dogs were transferred over to the clinic from Shady Oaks in Minnetonka. One of the pups had his first ever visit and I was sitting there without any guidance or overview on how the puppy was from a health perspective. At the end of the visit I was walked out and had to say "wait a minute, are you going to tell me how my dog is doing?". Outside of that the vets in the clinic are very standoffish and gave very little interest in communicating with me how my dogs were doing. For 500$ for 1 visit I expected better quality. The only pro for the visit was the receptionist who was very nice and responsive.

Great service. Nice to hear that our wonderful cat Liam is in good shape. He needs to lose a pound but he is doing well.

We've been going to Blaine Central Vet for many years. They are very friendly and respectful to work with and very loving with my animals. I appreciate that they explain what each test costs, what it shows them, why the recommend it, they're honest if they don't think it's super beneficial for our situation, and I'm able to decide if I'd like to have it done or not with zero pressure. Highly recommended!

The staff is extremely helpful and informative. All questions asked have been immediately answered and the care given to my fury kid has been exceptional. The first vet clinic he doesn't show timidness when visiting. Thanks Blaine CVC Staff for everything you have done for us.

We love Dr. Livingston and all of the techs! We have been seeing them for two years and have received the best care. I’ve worked at boarding facilities and vet offices - I truly don’t think I’ve gone to a nicer vet. They know their stuff, are friendly, and are great with my three dogs.

We have had our concerns listened to with Blaine Central Vet. We have taken all of our dogs (4 now) to them over the years and they have been patient, professional and caring not only with our pets but also with us! We trust them to help us make good decisions about the health and wellbeing of our dogs.

While the staff is very nice we were extremely disappointed to discover that they are overpriced and unable to provide any same day care for emergencies (during regular clinic hours). Our dog cut his foot open on a Sunday evening, we called when the clinic opened at 8am Monday and they were unable to get him in until 11am. They said his cut was into the muscle and almost to the bone but couldn’t get him in for stitches same day. We were charged $200 just for the first appointment to get it checked out and had to come back next day for stitches which cost another $700. Extremely disappointing and will be moving our pet care as a result.

Can’t thank the staff here enough! They’ve earned my business for life. Very blessed to have such a caring team so close to home.

They were very good with my dog

Though I've never come in for anything serious, they have never pressured me or steered me in the wrong direction. They try their best to make room for a pet with an urgent need and have greeted all my animals with positive energy and love. The vets are usually on the ground at dog level (I have corgis) and take a moment to get to know your animal before poking and prodding. This vet does run a bit on the expensive side but I'm more than happy to pay a little extra knowing the staff care about what they do and who they are treating.

We have three pets that we bring to Blaine Central Veterinary Clinic and we have always had good experiences when we come in.

Always a bit scary to try a new vet for our kitties but they made us feel right at home. We'll be back, although hopefully not too soon! :)

We've tried a few vets in the area and Blaine Central is hands down the best! We have a very anxious and sensitive pup and the entire staff is extremely caring and knowledgable with our treatments. The mobile app is also really helpful in keeping up to date and scheduling appointments.

I foster dogs so I visit the vet often with my foster dogs. I have always been impressed with this vet. I believe they have good hours for a working person. The staff is very friendly and truly love the animals. in the exam rooms there are no tables to put the dog on. I like how the vet will get down on the level of the dog and do their exam. Every foster dog I have brought here is comfortable with the vet. The staff is very knowledgeable and I would recommend this vet to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

I had a great experience with my cat at Blaine Central Veterinary Clinic. Both the vet and the assistant were gentle and kind.
