Please think twice before using this company. I am not a current client but a very close friend used them. It turned into a no call and no show. They tried calling to verify what happened with no response at all. This seems to be a theme if you look at reviews.

I was threatened to not leave review by the owners boyfriend. I debated on doing so after but as my conscience wouldn’t let me I had to make sure I said something. This company’s owner is unethical and has committed crimes of wage theft for employees. She ran out of state to hide from this. She also lies about going to client visits. You think she would be smart enough to realize cameras exist now a days. She cannot even remember apts. she lies about phone dropping calls or not seeing messages. This is supposed to be a company for animals but has turned into a company of greed with no consideration to the important issue here and that is animal care

As I may not be a client of Huggable Muggs I do know others personally who have used their business and also know directly from former employees the actions of the owner. This person is unethical in her business practice with lying about visits, not refunding clients, not paying former or current employees. Having threats sent to former employees. I recommend you find another pet sitting company to take care of your most precious family member before you put them into the hands of this company.

Don’t bother finding out for yourself. At this point, it’s animal abuse. Recently left a blind dog alone for 24 hours and lied about going to the visit. Horrible.

Owner is flighty, cant follow through, lies about going to visits, cant pay her employees, and has run out of state to avoid the problems that she caused herself. I may not be someone who used her for pet sitting services, but I have a family member that used her and outright lied about going to the visit scheduled which I see as animal abuse. DO NOT HIRE

After several people telling me their personal negative experiences with the owner, and now seeing other reviews, I would not even consider this company. It is too bad that someone this incompetent is mistreating pets. Hope the pet owners contact the necessary officials to handle their issues, as for me, I will be boarding mine at a trustworthy place.

I previously worked at this company, along with my mother. Owner is flighty, and doesn’t take the company seriously. Won’t respond for days on end even for services that she is assigned, which means leaving animals unattended while their parents are out of town (resulting in animal not fed or let outside to relieve themself). Most recently, Beth (the owner) lied about checking up on an old, helpless, blind dog, who ended up being left alone for 24 hours. Owner also refusing (and unable due to the company being so far in debt) to pay the employees that left due to her own actions. Do not hire.

I would highly recommend that you find another company to do business with. Beth Downs is an awful desperate human being. She has stolen from her employees and clients. She has now left state to hide from the consequences. She owes money to these people. She additionally lies about going to visits and leaves helpless animals. She is an abuser.

I have used Huggable Muggs to take care of my cats a couple of times so far and I will definitely use them again. I love the fact that you get updates and photos from them after each visit! Scheduling sitting visits is easy and you know who will be coming to care for your pets when you schedule! I definitely would recommend this pet sitting service!

Beth and her team are fantastic! They are so flexible with scheduling and I alway feel like our very shy pup is in good hands. They are patient with him when he is anxious to come out of his crate for a walk. I can not recommend them enough!

Friendly and pofessional sitters who give frequent updates throughout the duration of your time away. Quick to respond to questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

Poor management and this place sucks

Love Huggable Muggs, have been using their services over the last 5 years and always know our little Emma is taken care of and loved while we are away! Beth is great

We've used Huggable Muggs several times - every time we've had a wonderful experience! Beth and her staff take EXCELLENT care of our kitties, have administered medicine when we had a sick kitty one time, and even bring in the mail and newspaper! :) When we had our Guinea pig (RIP), they played with and petted her, too!! I also have loved the journal that is left each day - with notes about each pet and how they were doing! I would absolutely recommend them!!

Love them! We have been working with Huggable Muggs since Beth started up the business. We have two yorkie pups who are basically our children and my husband travels, so there are many times when we need someone to come walk them during the day while I am working. Their services have only expanded over the years and they have always been great to work with! I can relax and do my work knowing that they will take care of our furry children. They also have a service that allows you to receive a text message when they come to walk your pet(s) and tells you how they did. It's a small charge but worth it if you are like us :)

Highly recommended! We have been Huggable Muggs customers since we moved here in 2013. Beth and her team have been awesome in their care of our 3 dogs. We get wonderful updates on the dogs while we are gone. We knew they were being well taken care of and the service went above and beyond cleaning up after them. Beth was extremely friendly, professional and most important, trustworthy. She even washed a couple dirty dishes I left in the sink!

Huggable Muggs always takes such good care of my cats when I am away on vacation. I can rest easy and enjoy myself knowing they are being looked after and loved.

We've used Huggable Muggs for the last 7 years, with both of our dogs. When our dogs were puppies (one still is), we used Huggable Muggs for daily walks and pet care. We've also used Huggable Muggs for boarding and both our dogs love their time with Beth! I love that they come home exhausted! In the past when we boarded our dogs at larger facilities where they interacted with a lot more dogs, they would often come home with a variety of illnesses from kennel cough to doggy pink eye; I don't worry about that happening when they stay with Beth. We're very pleased with Huggable Muggs!

Horribly run company. Emailed question on Jan 4th went unanswered. This is the last email that I sent them, with no follow up: " My wife had scheduled dog walking services while we are out of town for our dog Kobe. It is suppose to be from tomorrow 1/16--Sunday 1/21. I checked her email and mine, and there is no confirmation of service. No one has contacted either of us about obtaining a house key. Someone did stop by last week, but they had to delay the time stopping by. My wife had to go to work, and my mother-in-law was there. She told me your employee said she wasn't sure why she stopped by since she wouldn't be the one walking the dog. At this point I'm really concerned that you might not even have us on the schedule. I left a voicemail message at 9am this morning and tried calling again at 10:15am. Please get in contact with me at any of the ways below: " I left 5 different methods of contact via email/phone numbers. Beware dealing with this "company".

We have been happy customers of Huggable Muggs for several years. We first hired them for an extended trip, which went very well. As our work-days can be long, we looked at doggie-day-care solutions, but our dogs are small and timid. So a few years ago we started to have them come every day to give our dogs a mid-day rest while we’re at work. The walkers have all been great about arriving at a good time, and locking up the house as they leave. We’ve never had any kinds of issues with their staff. And Beth is very responsive to urgent situations. Sometimes we get caught away from home in a weekend event or other circumstance; we know we can always count on her to have someone come and relieve the dogs. I definitely recommend Huggable Muggs to anyone in the south metro area who has pets and is looking for an in-home solution.

Beth, from Huggable Muggs has truly been one of the family. She has taken care of our blind dog, Sammy for the past 6 years and there is no one else I would trust like I trust Beth. She has a heart of gold, and takes care of our "little guy" as if he was her own. With her experience working for a vet, she instinctively knows if something seems wrong Sammy and she's always right! Beth is wonderful to work with..always smiling, friendly, and one of the most caring people we know!

I honestly wouldn't use any other service. Our sitter takes amazing care of our cats and our home while we're away. I would recommend Huggable Muggs to anyone looking for professional, loving care for their furry family. Beth and Joanna are irreplaceable to us and our kitties.

I have been working with Huggable Muggs for a few years. They do such a wonderful job taking care of my two cats whenever I'm away. The sitters are helpful, do what is asked of them, and are responsive to questions. I'm also very happy that they have implemented an electronic system so I can know exactly when they are at the house and when they leave. Oh, I should also mention that Beth, the owner, is also very friendly and helpful. You can tell that both she and the sitters truly are animal lovers and care about our pets.
