Overall great daycare and easy process! I would’ve given 5 stars but during pickup a staff member said in front of everyone “oh you’re the dog with lots of scratches, she got those at home not here.” We treat our dog like a princess, we love her so much and baby her (even though we shouldn’t), so she never plays rough with dogs especially when we go to the dog park. She feels most comfortable around humans than dogs. When we dropped her off she did not have any scratches, which is fine, it’s one scratch. Dogs play and assert their dominance and we expect that kind of stuff at daycare, there’s too many dogs to watch at once to blame anyone nor is it right to blame anyone. It was just offensive to say something like that in front of everyone assuming something you don’t know. It’s like dropping off your child at daycare and picking them up with a bruise or scratches and blaming the parent as if they don’t know their own kid was dropped off without any harm. I just did not like being put in that situation. Overall, I think this is a good daycare, most staff were respectable, you can watch your dog on the camera, and I loved being able to have the option of giving her a bath, getting her nails clipped and a brush out!

Our experience at DDG has been wonderful. Both of our dogs love their daycare so much they fidget with excitement when we turn down the street they are located on. So cute! Love the staff and the facility is great. My wife watches the dogs remotely from work via the web cam service. I thought separation anxiety was a canine affliction? Turns out, it's the wifey!

If you have a dog who has long hair or a double coat, I would suggest taking your dog somewhere else. This place is not equipped to take care of dogs with higher grooming needs.

What a fabulous place for my dog to stay. They were fantastic during my dogs week stay. She was exhausted but happy. Highly recommend for your dogs daycare or overnight stays.

DDG is amazing. Our sweet boy has such a blast here and they know exactly how to deal with his anxiety. He's very anxious when people approach the house and loses his mind when he sees another dog he can't get at, but at DDG he is so relaxed. We just got married and had Doggy Social pick him up for pictures and there were ZERO issues that we had to worry about. They're truly life changing and give us the confidence Bentlee is very well taken care of.

I have searched and searched for a dog grooming facility near my house. I now see why Dog Day Getaway receives so many great reviews. The vast selection of shampoos available for cleaning my German Shepherd rescue allowed me to choose the perfect solution for his spa day. He was squeaky clean at pick up with an adorable bandana around his neck. And the front lobby- WOW, that too was squeaky clean. Impressive. A pup got a little too excited and piddled on the floor. Within seconds, an employee cleaned up the accident. This may be small, but the nail trimming was perfection. I have gone to other facilities but decided to trim my dog’s nails myself because the other places did not do a satisfactory job. I am admittedly quite picky about my dog’s nails. DDG, however, did not disappoint. If I had to nitpick at something, it would be that I did not receive a call when the grooming was complete, even after getting confirmation that I would get a call. Super minor. I don’t mind. Overall, I love this place and will definitely go back.

Boarded our 3 huskies here for 3 days. Loved the cameras they have so we could check up on our dogs when we missed them! And really love that day time playtime with other dogs is included, very important with husky energy! Staff is super friendly!

We have used Dog Day getaway for years. We currently use them for all of our boarding needs as well as daycare. Our puppy attends full day daycare 3 times per week. They group them appropriately with other dogs of same sizes and ages. It helps our dog burn off all of his puppy energy. I love that you can check in on your dog with the webcams throughout the day. There reservation system is super easy to use to schedule or cancel daycare appointments. They offer discount daycare packages in bulk. We are very happy with Dog Day Getaway.

Loved watching Deena on the Webcam. She's a go-go-go kind of pup, so allowing her to be out and about for 12 hours is the best option for boarding. She even dozed off on the car ride home.

Our dog loves DDG, and while the checkout process seems a bit inefficient it's not enough to lower the rating.

I picked my dog up after a weekend of boarding and she was covered in urine. I worried about her ruining my car she smelled so bad. When I called, the worker could not help me and said her manager would call me the next morning. I never heard back. Edited: I did hear from a manager, who was very concerned about the issues and explained that the thawing/freezing in the play area can sometimes makes a real mess. She offered a free bath credit on my account for next time, and since I've had so many good experiences there we will be giving it another chance!

My dog loves it here. The only place that she doesn't immediately want to leave.

Been coming here for a few years. The prices went up and rather dramatically. No personal attention for the dogs but the webcams are a nice technology touch.

Outstanding care of a very anxious dog.
