Horrible customer service! Scheduled an appointment and they didn’t even have it on their calendar. Front desk person very rude and disrespectful.

They are wonderful they really worked with me by using my baby's wellness plan to do all the diagnostic testing... I wouldn't know what to do without them

Find a different vet. This place is a money grab. They fill their books so full with animals that they barely take any time to care for your pet. Most times they are booked for weeks when your pet needs to be seen and urge you to do a "drop off" where the dog is kenneled and howling in the back with many other dogs all waiting for a chance to finally get their 10 minutes with the vet. Each year the care gets worse and the price higher. I finally cancelled today and couldn't be more relieved to have finally pulled the plug on these guys.

Don’t bring your pet here. Went to take my dog for her check up. Prior to the appointment I made it VERY clear that she has anxiety with vets and can be difficult to work with. She does better when myself and my partner are around. I was told that the appointment could be done in the lobby. That was far from the truth. A vet tech or support person came to get my dog and my dog sat down showing obvious signs she was not going anywhere. It took myself and partner to get her to the back. They didn’t help make her feel better at all to try and comfort her in the back. The vet was also very unprofessional playing off my dog’s anxiety it may have not been a big deal to the vet but it was for my dog again showing signs of not caring for my dog and trying to comfort her. They only reason we go is because of the pet plan, which locks you in for a entire year, and is over priced for all of the things that are done. I am very upset with the service and have made that very clear several times to the vets and vet techs that work there, but again they act like they could care less.

Avoid this place. They missed a fly larvae infestation on my dogs rear end. $700 X-rays and "SUPPOSED " investigation as to why she was not moving her REAR END. I had to go back the following Monday to have this infestation removed and I had to pay another $200. She had to suffer through it the entire weekend. Put some money aside every month in a bank account. To help pay for your pets emergency services if they're necessary. don't pay this farce of an Acurate, go the extra mile kind of place. They will only go as far as your wallet.. This is a picture of the room they brought us into. As you see it has a leash tons of hair from searching for fleas from the previous dog that was not wiped down or cleaned up or swept up on the floor.

My dog had been having severe diarrhea for five days and had only eaten about two cups of dog food during that time. Pastey looking blood started to appear in his diarrhea, so I took a picture of it, called Monday morning and was told to email them the pic and that a vet would look at it and call back to discuss by the end of the day. Never heard from anyone. Called back at 445 pm and nobody answered. End of the day on Tuesday and still never heard back from anyone, so I called at 5pm. Found out that they hadn't even looked at the picture that I sent yet. They told me that I should probably just bring my dog in. Made an appointment for 9am Wednesday morning. They won't let anyone into their Lobby, so there was five other cars lined up in the parking lot. By 915, only two pets had been brought inside, by 920 I left with two other customers still waiting in their cars that were ahead of me in line me Bars and restaurants are now fully open, but but Banfield still won't let anyone into their Lobby, even with masks on and socially distancing.. What a poop show they've got going on there! I won't be going back!

We were clients of Banfield for 14 years and we have now cancelled our Wellness plans and transferred records to a new vet. The level of service has dropped dramatically in the last 2 years. I used to be able to get a helpful person on the phone when I would call that could ask intelligent questions and help me get my dogs an appointment within 24 hours. Now when you call the Apple Valley location you sit on hold forever OR they don't even answer. Once they do answer, the receptionists seem confused and clueless on how to use the systems. I've been told several times that they had no appointments available within 3 days even for an urgent situation. I'm told to call other Banfield offices instead. When I've been paying the monthly Wellness Plan premiums for 14 years I expect to get my senior dog in to see a vet for an urgent situation within 24 hours. I don't think that's too much to ask. Over the last 2 years I've also experienced appointment scheduling errors, vaccine errors (a vet tech was going to give my senior dog a vaccine that was no longer safe for her to get!). They also billed us for a vaccine for a 130+ pound dog when my dog is only 32 pounds. They claimed the correct vaccine was given, just entered wrong in the computer. The final straw was when they told us we needed to see the veterinary dentist at the U of MN but then refused to write the referral. The vet specifically said to go to the U of MN because they have a board certified vet dentist and anesthesiologist, but then even after multiple phone calls Banfield would not give me the referral to go there. I'm very disappointed with how our experience with Banfield ended. Again, after 14 years we cancelled our wellness plans and no one from Banfield followed up or asked why we were leaving.

We had an appointment for 8:30am, we waited until 9am before leaving. During covid we were told to call a number and wait in the car seeing people inside. Yet no one picked up the phone. Honestly a terrible experience.

Went for appointment and was told there was not an appointment scheduled. I checked my phone records and know date and time I made appointment. Receptionist was kind enough to call other Banfields in area to see it was scheduled there but no apology for not being on schedule.

Friendly, caring staff who provide a wide range of care options. Their health plans are awesome and well worth the cost! I can't imagine taking my fur-babies anywhere else.

I was informed that it is standard for animals under their care to not be let out and allowed to soil in their kennels when they are kept there for extended periods. I was advised by management they are not groomers and so they just wipe fecal matter off of them of the animals under their care if/when they have an accident. Was misdiagnosed twice, but advisd that there was nothing they could do about that. HORRIBLE care. My pet was incredibly ill after leaving their facility.

My little kitten and dog love going there. Everyone is so friendly. Highly recommend y'all seeing doctor Myhand. Her and her vet techs are so awesome.

Took my dog in for 2 vaccines and was told it would take an hour. 2 hours later I call them because it’s way past the time they should be done and they told me they’re almost done and will call me. Its now been 3 hours. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GIVE A DOG 2 VACCINES. I’ve been seeing dogs coming in and out in minutes.

Called to schedule an appt and was told I could drop and go. Asked for an appointment time as I was not able to go back and forth. Given 1230 appt but when I arrived was told it was a drop and go and the wait would be 2 hours. Asked that they double check as I scheduled the appt to be in and out. Assured they would discuss with the vet and call me back. Waited and hour in the parking lot, no call. Then I called to check the status and was told it would be another 2-3 hours. I’ve already waited an hour, they have my dog inside, and now the wait is longer than when I arrived an hour ago? Poor communication and customer service. 2 hours since the scheduled time and Still waiting! Now it’s too late to go anywhere else and my fur baby is stuck in a kennel for hours with GI issues. Hopefully the bath she’ll need is complete and complimentary.

They refused to cancel my wellness plan after 4 years , even though I went through major change of life events and no longer have my dog. They refused to even consider listening to me. I was interrupted by saying you have to finish the plan. I asked the person over the phone to speak to a supervisor, they also refused and denied my request.

We have brought our pets here for some time and received great service from the caring staff. They have a wellness plan for pets that we appreciate as it covers routine care.
