Dr. Jim and staff take great care of our 2 furbabies.

We brought in our beloved dog to have him put down. Our appointment was for 4 o’clock , but when we arrived they told us they were running late . They left us to wait outside in the cold for 15 minutes .They returned 10 minutes later to bring in our dog . After another 10minutes , they came to bring us in.. They led us to another entrance where we see our dog on the floor ,sedated with a blanket covering him. We were devastated to see him there on the floor. That was not the way the procedure was explained to us. Terrible experience, very unprofessional. Would never recommend this clinic to anyone .

Recently had our family dog put down and received one of the most uncompassionate experiences, should have had time to spend with him in a room instead he was laid down on a hallway floor where we were left to say our goodbyes (apparently Covid procedures), might want to rethink bringing your pet here!!!

Covid-19 rules in place. In and out visit for my cat's checkup took no time at all.

I called to bring my 19 yr old cat in to be put down. She was a patient there but because she hadn't been in for a year they wouldn't see her. I was very disappointed with them and had to take my cat to another vet.

Great. Dr. Jim is awesome.

Great little town of Lasalle

Dr. Jim and his staff are incredibly skilled, professional and pleasant to deal with. They’ve been taking care of our miniature dachshunds since we first brought them home, and they take such great care of the pups, and of us. They always make time for us when we need them, are courteous and comforting on the phone, and Dr. Jim takes as long as he needs to with the pups in order to come to the right diagnosis and treatment plan. They never make us feel like we’re overreacting when we bring our concerns to them, they listen fully to our concerns and help us find the best recourse. I can’t thank you enough for the peace of mind you bring us, knowing our boys are in such great hands!

The care since Covid19 has gone downhill CONSIDERABLY. The front desk staff when answering calls/concerns are VERY rude, like you're wasting their time and they don't put your pet's needs first. I took my cats to another vet a couple years ago to try and Malden is now refusing to see my sick cat because of that, saying they're not taking new patients. She has been a patient since she was a baby. They also made a comment not liking that I took her to the after-hours emergency vet. She was very sick and it was late at night when Malden wasn't open. My other cat who was almost 17 yrs old when she passed away was also a patient at Malden for many years and I have spent a lot of $ there. Most times when I've brought my cats to Malden I end up spending alot of $ but never get a definitive answer of what is wrong. Your pet will not be placed first.

Dr. Jim and his staff are all wonderful. Our dog, Koji has been going to Dr. Jim for 9 years and it is always a good experience. Koji has been going through a lot with his health for the past few years and they treat him as if he was their own dog. They show compassion, share knowledge and advice and always have his best interests at heart. I would like to give a special shout out to, Zack. He, aside from Dr. Jim is the only one who I trust with my dog. I am a crazy fur mama with lots of questions and concerns and I know that I can be a bit much lol but Zack is always patient with me, reassures me, gives koji extra love and even calls us at home just to check in on him. He is amazing! Thank you Zack for taking such great care of my fur baby! I highly recommend Dr. Jim and his Veterinarian Office. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Love how good they are with my great pyrenees. Shes arthritic and with covid restrictions they opened the front ramp for her because she cannot do stairs. Very caring and knowledgeable.

Dr. Jim is the best! His love of dogs shows through in every aspect of his care. Nothing but good things to say. We have had 4 dogs cared for and treated by him over the years

We have been visiting Dr. Jim for 8 years now and we would be hard pressed to go anywhere else. The friendly staff and level service we have experienced is hard to match. Our two dogs and our family thank you all for your efforts. Keep it up. All the best

This vet booted us from their service because we haven't brought our cat in within the year. We called yesterday to book an appointment for our cat's vaccinations and to have him checked out for a concern and they told us they couldn't help us anymore. The most frustrating part of all of this is that we buy prescription cat food from them every two weeks, spending a small fortune every month. They told us when we starting buying it that we had to buy from a vet that has seen our cat recently. They didn't stop us from buying from them, nor did they remind us we were due for vaccinations any of the many times I've called them. We communicated with them multiple times every month. I understand that COVID has made things complicated for many businesses, but using this as an excuse is unreasonable and unfair in this case. They lost yet another (as I'm reading other reviews) lifelong customer.

The staff took great care to help me thru the decision of putting my cat down via phone calls while I sat in my car in the parking lot. They set up a "safe room" so that I could hold my kitty as he crossed over. Dr. Mc Corquodale and his staff are very friendly. They take the time to explain clearly, what is going on with your pet, and what, if anything, can be done to heal your pet. I highly recommend Malden Road Veterinary Hospital.

Used this hospital for our two cats since moving to LaSalle 7 years ago. It has been a few years since we were last there but our cats have been perfectly healthy. Now, before we move we called to arrange for medicine and it seems they no longer care for our business and since it has been over a year since last we visited, we have to find another vet. Shame on you people.

I've dealt with this vet for many years. His staff is as great as he is. They all really care about the animals and people they help.

Dr Jim and his staff are wonderful, truly caring and professional. Saved our cat's life in an emergency and Mickey is totally fine today. Over 10 years of care and trust. Zack, Lynn, Renee and other staff great.

The staff has been amazing with our new addition to the family "Nova", and we greatly appreciated their kindness and compassion with the loss of our beloved "Otis"

Dr Jim (and anyone he has had cover for him) is great with my pets, connects with them personally and establishes a great connection with us pet parents. He is extremely knowledgeable, never encourages us to do anything we dont need to, and makes sure we understand the pros and cons of anything we are interested in or he thinks they might need. He goes over so many details and I'm always very happy with the service my pets receive. They have been our go to for regular checkups/vaccines/flea treatment since 2013, provided an affordable emergency hysterectomy for my female with pyometra, and took a growth off my cats toe without taking the nail or leaving him with any debilitating scarring.

Our family has used Malden Road Vet for almost ten years. Dr. Jim is great and so is the staff! And our little dog has thrived under their care.

My cat Max had a very upsetting month, very scarry. Dr. Jim and his staff got Max back to himself. I can't say enough about their care and kindness. The best clinic ever.

Unfortunately they only care about money and not the well being of pets. They would not take our second cat (first cat is patient) for an EMERGENCY because she wasn’t a patient, wanted to make an appointment two weeks out. Also, my friend’s cat IS a patient and had an emergency after 7 years of being perfectly healthy and she was told that 7 years is too long and she’d have to become a new patient, two week appointment delay again. Lots of other more caring veterinarians in the area that are more willing to help our loving pets.

Always a friendly environment, staff is great and never had any issues. Still a client and plan to be one always.

Wonderful vet (Dr. Jim) and all of the techs and support crew. We always value their opinions, and they take such great care of our pets. You can tell that they are passionate about animal care, and it makes me feel better about leaving a furry friend in their care.
