Took my dog here after my dog hurt herself. Wasn’t walking on her back leg and i thought it was a nail injury due to blood being on her paw. This vet ended up referring me to a orthopedic surgeon telling me it was an ACL problem. They told …

I took my 1 1/2 yr cat here. She was sick, throwing up, lethargic, not eating/drinking. They charged me the usual outrageous prices, that one would expect from an er visit, only to tell me that my “not-sick-cat” was not sick and perfectly healthy. Update! “Not-sick-cat” is now deceased.

They were able to get my English bulldog Waylon in when no other place wanted to help . Everyone seemed extremely nice during the entire process. Now we are just waiting for the healing process of his surgery at home.

Fantastic place! Did great with my daughter's sick cat. Got us through as quick as they could. I knew they must be good people because Mocha hates everyone, but liked them! Reasonable prices, good explanations. Thank you so so much for making my kid's best friend feel better!

Had to take our dog in for emergency and almost took her here until they told me I would have to wait in the car and they do not allow owners in because of “Covid protocols”. 55,000 people at Ford Field for a Lions game and they are worried about me coming in with my sick (and scared) dog? Took her somewhere else and we ended up having to put her down and I could not imagine having to go through that at a place where I could not go in. There are other options available.. Do not go here for emergencies unless you are ok with sending your furry family members in without you. Ridiculous policy and “protocol”

When my 6.5 month kitten was vomiting and ill I brought him here one night to be seen. Doctor did radiograph images and gas was noted and he was given cerenia inj and sent home with digestive care cans. I declined blood work as it wasn't my concern. We did blood work the following day at his primary and everything was perfect. Unfortunately two days later after some repeat radiographs (his primary performed) he had to go to another ER (this place could not see him at that time for an sx) to go into an emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage. I appreciated the staff for being helpful and kind while we were there. However, I feel awful to have let Elton get to the point he got to after another two days when rushed into an exploratory.

Our dog cut her paw over the holidays and as many people know many vets were busy. We called Vet Emergency Service West and they were able to take her! We had taken our other dog a previous year and they were so helpful then as well. We brought her in at 10am on New Years and were told it could he a hour wait, which was to he expected. 10 minutes later she was brought back. Dr. Fleischaker took care of her and was so kind and informative! They progressively got busier that day so it took longer for a call to come pick her up but that was understandable as when I got there the parking lot was full. Thank you for helping our pups!

Had an unfortunate need for emergency surgery for my sweet dog. Everyone was very kind and informative. Covid protocols are in place, so I could not go in, but the vet called to explain the situation and then called again when out of surgery. Honestly, they were way helpful than any regular vet office I spoke to. It was expensive, but I was expecting that given the emergency.

The people at this emergency vet have saved my cats butt (literally) twice and helped me with a stray dog I found recently. The staff is super compassionate and great all around! The wait may be long at times but that's just life during covid. They really do their best and it shows! Thankyou all, you're the best!

My puppy was having issues late at night. I called Plymouth Veterinarian Service West and was SO HAPPY I did. My questions and concerns we're handled with such compassion. Dr Jordan was so informative and caring. I would highly recommend going to see Dr Jordan.

My cat had passed recently they guided me through the whole process of what to do next. Not only were they extremely kind on the phone and in person, but they also sent an card a couple weeks later signed by the staff. Couldn't ask for a better experience during such a rough time.

They took good care of our sick dog, communicated excellently, and were more affordable than I thought it would be. We would definitely take our baby girl here again (if we need to).

My dog needed to be seen in an emergency and this place saw him immediately within 20 minutes of showing up. Everyone working there is very friendly and nice and took great care of my dog. Would highly recommend.

I took our puppy here, she was 10 weeks old. The Vet Dr. told me that my puppy has a heart murmur and that I should look into giving her back to the breeders as soon as possible as it would be very costly down the road. Totally derived from what I initially came to the clinic for. This was my 2nd time here, and I will not go back. Our puppy had her 1st initial visit with the breeders vet & was all clear, and our visit with our vet which was all clear. Not happy with the services / veterinarian who communicated with us.

Do yourself a favor and go to a different ER. I took my puppy to this ER after he swallowed a sock (Puppy is not big enough to pass it). I took him in maybe 2 hrs after it happened. With everything being curbside, they took my puppy and supposedly gave him something to cause him to vomit. Well he didn't vomit the sock. With their failed attempt I went days worrying about my puppy who was becoming symptomatic. He wouldn't eat or drink. Basically I had to take him to his vet which was a failed attempt which caused us to wait more time and spend more money. After 3 days, I took him to a different ER who was able to produce the sock w/ the exact same procedure. After bringing this to the 'managers' attention her only explanation was "maybe he ate the sock when he returned home". That is the most ridiculous response! I personally don't think they believe he swallowed the sock and didn't give us the service we paid for. The only good thing about this is my puppy ok. Avoid this ER if you can!!!

Do not take your animal here, they not there for the pet, they there to take your money. They did a X-ray 7-8 times before they finally Said Surgery. Everytime they do a x-ray it’s cost $100-$130 each time. I feel they don’t need that many x-rays to determine a surgery. Please do not do business here. This was the worse experience for me and my wife.

I took my 12 week old puppy there after he ate a wild mushroom. They gave him charcoal and discharged him. The following day, the puppy was violently ill and they told me to bring him right back. By now, the puppy was vomiting, had severe diarrhea, was quite lethargic and was struggling to breathe. I waited outside with him for over two hours. He was admitted and discharged the next day. Throughout this time, I never met the veterinarian. Two days later, he became even sicker. I was told by a rather rude receptionist that they did what they could and basically that he would probably die. Luckily, I took him to another emergency vet and they saved him. He's 14 weeks old now and is a healthy, happy and playful pup. I would never go there again.

I experienced my first emergency vet visit with my 3 1/2 year old Siberian Husky yesterday. She was at doggy daycare when I received a phone call that she had vomited blood and was acting strange all day. With the help of a few good reviews from friends of mine, I didn’t hesitate to take her straight to VES to get her seen. I arrived there around 4:46pm to check in, they took her back shortly after and Dr. Arthmire called me around 5:19pm with an update, took another history and told me her game plan as well as the fact that they were keeping my dog overnight. The next update was around 30-45 minutes later (as she said it would be) after they ran blood work and did x-rays. After seeing that all the test results the doctor then was able to make a decision on what she thought caused my dogs issues. The doctor answered all of my questions and was very clear with the treatment plan and medications given to my dog. I was able to pick up my dog today after 24 hours of observation and care. Taking a pet to an emergency clinic is extremely stressful and the staff at VES made that stress a little better with thorough updates. This visit was expensive, yes- but that was to be expected. They did take the low end of the estimate as a deposit. The discharge instructions were done over the phone as well as given to me upon pick up. I am extremely grateful to the staff who took care of my girl. I hope I don’t have any future emergencies with either of my two dogs, but should I need to- I would not hesitate to bring them back here.

Definitely the worst vet i ever dealt with very unprofessional staffing extremely rude when you did finally talked to somebody was hung up on three times and had us waiting for over 2.5hrs in car.. definitely are not a emergency clinic they never got us in..... so if you feel it's a true emergency find somewhere else to go recommend not using this unprofessional establishment if you truly care about your pet... I found a clinic down the street and got me an immediately and was way friendlier ty thank you northville Animal Hospital

Had to take my baby in cause she was really sick u know going in that it doesn't look good. After I got there called and told them the symptoms she was having and they rushed right out to get her. Unfortunately my worst nightmare was comin true she had a massive growth on her spleen that ruptured and even if all the surgery and blood transfusions worked that she prob has more tumors in other spots she would prob wouldn't make it past 6 months. I would have spent my life saving to keep her but it would be unfair to her to keep her in pain to postpone my own. They gave me as much time to go in and hold her and say goodbye and let me stay till the very end. Cherish every moment and breathe cause we don't get to keep them long enough thanks for your compassion.

On Sunday morning our puppy somehow got a circular shaped bone caught behind her big teeth and stuck around her bottom jaw. We knew to call this place because they had saved our last dog when his vet gave him too much sedatives for a procedure a few years ago. They told us to come right to the back door and as soon as we arrived they took her right in and she was out in 5 minutes! They didn’t even charge us for removing it and by the looks of the bone they had to have cut it. Even if they would have charged us they were very clear about what everything would cost on the phone prior to coming in. I can’t thank them enough for how easy and timely they made our very scary situation. Would 10/10 100% recommend!

Worst place ever!! I took my cat with a bladder issue, he was peeing blood, they used a catheter to help him pee until I could take him to his Vet, he ended up needed an extra procedure during his surgery because they tore his urethra when inserting the catheter, his Vet ended up not charging me to this procedure since they had listed this place of business as an alternative

Very efficient and kind staff. The vet talked me through the various options and possibilities of what could be happening. We decided on a treatment plan together and my cat ended up needing less than I thought. Very thankful for them!

Well years ago I took my dog here when he got sick and he ended up passing away so I still blame them for that, just called because they’re a “24hr” vet and my dog has been very sick the last 2 days, had to take him there Thursday night, the lady that came out to get my dog was rude. Called back today telling them what was wrong and what could be done because he got worse and she said she can’t see him until after 10am (6 hours away) because they have a couple surgeries to do first? Then hung up on me without saying bye or anything to do to help me. Her name was Donna and she was rude and not helpful and I hate this place. The only reason I go here is for absolute emergencies in the middle of the night when no other places around me are open. ^ this review was months ago Today my other dog randomly started breathing weird and not able to walk right, I had something to do so my mom was going to take her to the vet, she called 3 different vets trying to get her seen and all were too busy so she called here, they told my mom because I wrote a bad review and apparently I “cussed at the receptionist” which I didn’t, that my mom and the dog can’t be seen. My mom said because my daughter wrote a review you’re not going to see my sick dog & she said yes. Then after my mom was asking questions and saying how that isn’t right they asked if we lived at the same address and apparently she was going to take her after stating that the price is going to start at $400 and up. This place is horrible and cruel

Compassionate and professional! For anyone to give a bad review should be ashamed. I've never seen a clinic truly passionate and caring for the animal and the family like these wonderful people. I wish I would've remembered all their names but I'm so very thankful for them.
