Been taking my pets to Orchard Lake Animal Hospital for nearly 30 years. Very knowledgeable, caring and accommodating. We typically see Dr. Oswald or Dr. Novkov. Both are very attentive to my dogs and address all our concerns in a very caring manner. Highly recommended this practice.

If I could provide ZERO stars I would. I recently had my kitten spayed and have never been dealt with so disrespectfully and inhumanely. Not only do the doctors and technicians lack the general competence needed to handle animals they also are also disgustingly complacent with this absolutely ABHORRENT behavior. I would never bring my pets here, please don’t waste your money!!! *EDIT* It’s shocking that the owner seems to have a much more caring attitude in front of others as I called prior to leaving this review and was met with a very dismissive tone. This is not the first cat I have had spayed but Luna is the first and LAST cat that will be spayed by YOU. As the many other one star reviews show, others share my sentiments and I am glad they also left a record of their horrible experiences as well. You are terrible and that’s a fact, you are NOTHING like the previous owner. You are solely out for money and it SHOWS. DO BETTER!

Open 24/7 for animal emergencies. Saved my daughter's corgi after being attached by a pit bull. They change the bandage and check the wound every week. This past visit they thought the recovery is at the point that bandage may come off in 2 weeks.

I've never been to a Vet where you feel so welcomed when you walk in the door. The Doctor is extremely nice, and you can see that he truly cares and has your animals best interest in mind.

Dr. Oswald has been treating our dogs over twenty years and she is the greatest in every aspect. The staff are very helpful and kind.

I am truly impressed with the entire staff there. My first visit was saving the life of my 7 year old Tonkinese cat. In the last 2 1/2 years we have lost two other cats to age and sinus lymphoma. We have been going to a "cats only" vet for over 20 years. Times changed, the clinic was sold and vets that we knew for years moved. Sissy, our 7 year old girl was sick and we did not know what to do. They could not schedule a time for us to come in. She had lost 2 lbs in 2 years, lethargic and not responsive. On a Saturday morning we went through Google looking for help. At 9:30 am we contacted Orchard Lake and the immediately told us to come in at 10:30. Dr. Mary Oswald took over the care of Sissy and diagnosed a scent gland cyst that was ready to rupture and go septic. Dr. Oswald was able to take care of the cyst and send us home with medication. Two weeks later and a .6lb gained she was seen by Dr Schumair, who to very good care of her. We decided to make Orchard Lake Animal Hospital our "go to" and are scheduled to go in for shots this October. I have also contacted other cat owners encouraging them to make the switch. One has already scheduled a visit in September. Kudos to all for the caring that we did not receive at our previous go to vet.

Orchard Lake Animal Hospital gave me an exceptional experience on 9/1. My Corgi Neville randomly got very sick, puking and not well for 24 hours. After calling over 20 vets since my default vet was not willing to take him in on a short notice(they were booked a month out) I was really stuck in a hard spot because Emergency vets often charge you at least 1000$ to just walk in. When I called Orchard lake, Stacy who I believe answered the phone was able to move an existing appointment up to fit me in. Which I want to express was one of the most kind things someone has ever done for me. I sincerely want to highlight how great Stacy was and how much I appreciate her fitting me in when most vets wouldn’t. I wish more vets were like Orchard Lake Animal Hospital.

OLAH has been great with all of our animals. Each member really takes the time to get to know your pet and you can tell they really do love their jobs. I really appreciate the care that is put in each time we visit. Everything is always explained in detail, and they always make sure that you are on the same page regarding your animals care. Our Frenchie Fiona LOVES going in to see her friends at the vet every time she comes!

I was very upset- looking for the Emergency Vet. (Found out there @ emergency, that my Kitty was Terminal), so these people were SO nice. They gave me a map and pointed out how to how. (Which direction to start off in. . .). Without their caring & kindness I surely would have gotten turned around again. Thanks so much!!!

My family has been going to Orchard Lake Animal Hospital since at least the 1990's. They took such great care of our family dog and cats (who lived very long healthy lives), that I did not even consider another practice when I got my own puppy even living half hour away. Dr. Oswald did her first puppy exam and has been engaged in her care ever since. Our girl is now 11 years old and in the last few years has gone through some health scares in which I firmly feel without Dr. Oswald's diagnosis' and her recommendations, she may not have survived. In the last three years in particular with our girl having a chronic condition we interact with OLAH pretty regularly. Our experiences have all been great! I always feel listened to, never rushed and also have received several late night calls from the Doctor following up on a ER visit, sharing test results or a call to discuss a treatment plan or next step. OLAH is professional and staffed with experienced people but beyond that it has a family feel because you get the sense the people that work here love what they do, and love animals - From the Doctors, Vet Techs and Front desk staff. The new building is a plus - the exam rooms are clean and welcoming and I believe the pricing is fair for services as well as for the prescription food our girl needs. A++!

I waited hours for the results for my dogs tests. They received the info but we’re too busy to tell me. Dr Oswald did not call me after I waited hours for her. Such irresponsible, insensitive behavior is revolting and inexcusable. Do not use this facility!

We have been bringing our pets here for almost a decade and frankly would go nowhere else. Dr. Oswald and the OLAH staff always have gone above and beyond to meet our pets needs and always helped us out. Absolutely the best animal clinic around and I HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for quality, professional, and knowledgeable care for our furry family members!

As a human, you always seek the best doctors for your family. 11 years ago, Dr. Oswald came highly recommended from a family member and good friend. Since then, my dog has been under Dr. Oswald's care and my wife and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Oswald (and honestly the rest of the staff too - the techs, the folks at the front desk, etc) really take the time to know your pet, and know you. Dr. Oswald's advise, treatment of my dog, and educational explanations to my wife and I, have really been key in the trust my wife and I have in Dr. Oswald. The establishment is clean, well taken care of, fairly priced, responsive, reliable, and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Oswald and the Orchard Lake Animal Hospital (OLAH) to anyone not only looking for a recommendation for care for their pet, but also for their own peace of mind that their pet is in great hands. After our current vet was no longer an option I went on the search for new one and came across orchard lake animal hospital, went this past Monday for our first visit and was very happy with care received and gentle way they were with my 16 month old rescue dog who has anxiety and very timid around new people and animals. I was happy to find an office I knew my dog would get great care from. Then 2 days later I called late afternoon after my dog had been bite by another dog while out on our daily walk, they got us in right away and worked on my dog for over 4 hours providing awesome care to ensure a healthy recovery. They kept us up to date when things were more severe than originally thought and gave us updates along the way to help our nerves knowing our dog was doing ok. While she has a couple weeks of care needed to get fully healed I have complete confidence she will be back to good health soon thanks to all the wonderful staff and vets at this office. I’m glad I found and tried this office and hope eventually my dog will walk in there to see them with confidence.

I can’t imagine taking my current boy anywhere else! Unfortunately, 4 years ago I found Orchard Lake Animal Hospital too late, when I needed to send my sweet Morkie boy over the rainbow bridge, the care and compassion Dr. Novkov showed us that day was like we had seen her for years~ We soon rescued another furbaby and immediately brought him to Orchard Lake AH. And have continued ever since. Both of my grown children have pets that also come here and the care all of our animals, a cat & another dog receive from any of these doctors or their staff is without a doubt top notch. From a single vet visit to a week long stay for a “fever of unknown origin” during this pandemic, they have treated these furry little souls and us like family. No need to look any further~ ????♥️????

I have lost two fur babies this year and they are always so kind and patient (I didn't handle it well). We have always received excellent care!

I have been to several Animal Hospitals around the USA over the years, but Orchard Lake Animal Hospital is tops in my opinion, and I have great experiences at each and every Animal Hospital I have visited.

Everyone who works here is kind, caring, and knowledgeable. Dr. Oswald is the perfect example of who you’d want your Veterinarian to be. She truly cares and really knows her stuff. I highly recommend Orchard Lake Animal Hospital.

We just brought a new puppy into our home after a six year hiatus. Dr. Oswald took care of our previous dog, blue his whole life. She and the entire facility are realty tops. She is always professional, kind and understanding when dealing with my pets.The entire office staff at Orchard Lake Animal hospital has been great to work with. I love Orchard Lake Animal Hospital! Everyone who works here is kind and caring, and we especially love Dr. Novkov. She understands our very physically and neurologically challenged senior pug and she cares for her and our boxer with such true concern and interest. We had a cat who died at 20 a couple years ago and she also cared for her so well and with such compassion. The vet techs and ladies who work at the desk are always so responsive and kind as well. The new building is gorgeous, spotless, warm and welcoming, and there's tons of parking in front. They've also handled the pandemic so well and even come get our pets from our car, take them inside for their care and bring them back to the car. They do the same for the prescription food and meds we need for our dogs. We are so grateful to everyone at OLAH. They love our pets so much, and it comes through in every interaction we have with them. Thank you OLAH!!

We always get great care for our dogs. We've been coming for over 30 years. You can tell they are great caregivers by the way they treat your pets and respect the owners. It's like family.

Dr. Novkov is amazing! As new puppy owners, Dr. Novkov helped answer all of our questions and gave great recommendations to help make sure she will get everything she needs. We are excited she will be Charlotte's vet!
