Another local vet provided our pet services for years, but they have been extremely busy since they opened a larger facility. When they did not have a same-day appointment for an urgent illness, this facility offered an appointment in two hours. Although they are still operating with COVID restrictions (my pet was brought in alone while I waited in the car), their office staff and process were very efficient. My cat was brought back to my car within 30 minutes of my appt time. Dr. MacDonell, who called me in my car, was very attentive while asking appropriate questions and listening to my concerns. I didn't feel rushed to get off the phone. I also appreciate that she presented two paths to pursue, an aggressive course of diagnosis and a more conservative approach which I chose. Everyone I encountered, from the office staff to the doctor, were very pleasant to deal with. We are considering a permanent move to this location based on our first experience here. Thank you for seeing us on such short notice, especially on New Year's Eve!

Honestly wouldn’t have considered it a bad experience but I had my cat checked out here because I was concerned about her weight and was told she was healthy and a normal weight for her size. I went to another vet later because I was still concerned and they found a large abdominal mass, said she was very underweight, had an extremely high white blood cell count, and diagnosed her with lymphoma. I feel like they should have caught one of those things at my visit?

They will find a way for you to schedule paid appointment even preexisting conditions just to refill medication. They have seen my dog for the same exact issue last year. I needed refill on his medication because he keeps dislocated his hip. I was told we need to schedule appointment for blood work to see how it effects his liver. Are you serious?

They have been helpful and kind to my pup meeting all my needs as a pet owner. Only issue is I ordered some meds and they never called when they were ready, turns out I forgot to inform them of my new number, I wish they would have at least sent an email if they couldn’t contact me via phone.

Dr. Becky's negligence put my cat in a life threatening situation. He is currently fighting for his life in the ICU. Beware of Animal Hospital Maple Orchard and Dr. Becky.

They don't allow anyone to to come in with their pet now. They don't have anyone treating or with the animals over night. Very poor communication and responsiveness. I would NOT recommend putting your loved one's life at risk here.

I am leaving a 1 star review for the Maple Orchard Animal Hospital for several reasons. Upon having our dog originally seen by Dr. MacDonnell, an appointment was set up for a CT scan on June 18th. I received a text AND an email from the hospital confirming the appointment on June 17th. Upon arrival at 7:00AM, we were told the appointment had been cancelled because their CT machine was still not working. NO ONE called to advise of the issue and we not only wasted time, but had to take time away from work and our dog fasted for no reason. When we did finally have the CT scan performed on 7/1 and we got the results a copy of the report and images were supposed to be sent to the Animal Surgical Center of Michigan where our appointment was scheduled for 7/22. When I checked to see if the scans had been sent on 7/20, I was told that the Animal Hospital Maple Orchard had been contacted on 7/19 and were to send both documents on 7/20. Upon arriving for our appointment at the Animal Surgical Center of Michigan 2 days later on 7/22, we were informed that ONLY the CT radiology report had been sent. As a result the Dr. could not complete the diagnosis and determine a treatment plan. Again, we had to waste time taking off work since this was an hour drive for us. When I contacted AHMO to find out why the images has not been sent, I was told only 1 person in the office knew how to do it and they would not be able to get the images sent until 7/22. This has truly been a horrifying and frustrating experience with the Animal Hospital Maple Orchard. I found the lack of responsiveness and follow through to be extremely unprofessional. I would highly discourage anyone from using this Vet.

It was my first visit there. Everyone was nice, and friendly. They were very good with my nervous cat. Overall, it was a great experience.

I cannot say enough great things about this office. After spending nine hours the day prior trying to get into a vet and being turned away from two emergency walk in vet clinics, Animal Hospital Maple Orchard got me in the same day I called for my cat’s emergency. They were safe, thorough, very friendly and professional. The doctor and vet tech were very informative, and I instantly trusted them to take care of my cat. I highly suggest going here and making sure to thank them! The vet world is crazy right now.

We are very grateful for everything Dr.Guild and his staff did to help our puppy. We were out of town and had to fly home because our 6 month old puppy broke his femur & needed emergency surgery. We were having the hardest time finding someone to help us. No one would give us the time of day, they all turn us away without even looking at our dog. We called Animal Hospital Maple Orchard and they were able to get us in right away for a surgical consultation & Dr Guild did his surgery the next morning. Our pup is still on the road to recovery but he is doing fantastic!

Took my dogs "in" for a wellness examine in may. You never actually get to talk to the vet just the ignorant vet techs. My one dog was severely ill but they didn't bother to tell me that. He is now deceased because my trusted vet changed owners and the new owners suck.

There are not enough words to express how deeply my family appreciates AHMO; but I'll try. They love our family. Our family loves them. All of the staff and doctors are kind, caring, considerate, skilled, friendly, knowledgeable, supportive, and interested. They consistently take the time to keep our dog healthy and well-attended. The doctors are knowledgeable and take the time to communicate clearly and kindly. I can't imagine going anywhere else. <3

Vet tech who came to greet us at our car was very friendly and good with our dogs. Very quick, efficient service too. Would highly recommend!

This place is incredible. My puppy, Kiba, got into some of my sister's dark chocolate, and I was in a fit. I called them for advice and they told me to come in right away and they would help her. They brought her in as soon as they could. I barely had to wait at all, even though I could tell they were fairly busy. They did everything they had to do to make sure she was going to be okay, and she was at home, safe, and already feeling better within hours. I am so thankful to Dr. Bowery and the technicians who helped her. Kiba loves going to the vet, thanks to their kindness and attention.

We are happy with the services received. We have two cats and a dog.

We began taking senior cat (15 years old at the time) to this vet 2 years ago. They were so attentive to him. Even as he aged, and lost hair, and began being treated frequently, they continued to use that sweet, high-pitched voice we all tend to use for kittens. They were always so patient and accommodating with him and with us. He passed away last weekend after we rushed him to the emergency animal hospital. We didn't call Maple and tell them he'd died. Yet today when we checked the mail, there was a card with handwritten condolences from all of the staff and doctors that had treated him over the years. It made me cry happy tears. I don't know how they learned of his passing, but the card was so incredibly thoughtful. I wouldn't consider for a moment taking my remaining 2 fur babies anywhere else for their medical care.

called all over michigan to find a affordable vet to neuter my holland lop. So glad I found this place! I literally cannot express the way they took care of our bunny!! The moment I dropped him off to when I picked him up.. was what every animal momma would want in a vet!! Not only was the price amazing but the service is more then I EVER expected! I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone and will never take my animals to another vet! I cannot thank you all for taking care of my daughters bunny the way you did! You made a little 10 year old the happiest girl in the world today!

Preformed my dog's TPLO surgery. Doctors were informative. The price was competitive compared to MSU hospital. My pet is doing great for her second one. It has been a slow recovery but the doctor stated it would be expected. Limit your dog's movement even if they seem good

I have been going to Dr. Guild for years and have spent thousands of dollars there and I have got nothing but respect and knowledge from him. But when it comes to some of his staff there is a major issue in how they treat people. I made an appt this morning for my dog who has 2 loose teeth thay are causing severe pain and it was made for 1045am. I packed up my two kids under 2 and got there at 1055. I was told rudely that I missed my appt and thay I had to come back another day. I then pleaded and said I live 30 mins away and got two kids and was laughed at and then said the vet could fit me in. I then waited for an hour in the car with two screaming kids ,so I calgain and got hung up twice. I then asked to speak to Dr. GUILD AND WAS TOLD WE ALREADY CALLED HIM AND HUNG UP AGAIN. If you respect yourself or your time you shouldn't go here. I will never be talked to nor be treated in the manner I was today. Horrible horrible and to go further never got a call back from Dr. GUILD FOR ANY APOLOGY. TOTALLy UNCALLED FOR. I will be taking all 3 of my dogs elsewhere. Update went to a specialist for the eye Dr. GUILD REMOVED AND WQS REMOVED INCORRECTLY AND CAUSED MAJOR NERVE DMAAGE . STAY AWAY AT ALL COSRS
