we were not happy with this vet--we found another one that we love--to this day they still are having people wait in their car & the vet comes out to see the pet, talk with you & then bring it inside alone with them--you are not allowed in the building--this wouldn't be that bad if they kept the appointment time--EVERY time we had an appointment we would be waiting over a half an hour to have the vet come to our car--I complained once & the snippy receptionist told me that there was an emergency before us--I then told her that it happens EVERY appointment--also their office bills were the highest we have ever seen--the last straw was I called this vet & he never returned the call--the reason for my call was that my dog is doing worse than when we first went to this vet 1-16-21--folks, you can find somewhere much better than this.....

Love this vet, they definitely care for our fur babies and are straight to the point when it comes to letting us know what we need to do to help us care for our babies

The staff here is nothing less than absolutely AMAZING! I found out my puppy Debo had Parvo just 12 hours after I got him. After seeing how sick he was I called ER after ER. I went to an ER and they told me I should just put him down. That he had no chance. After leaving, I just didn't feel good about that and just happened to call Hoover Animal Hospital because they are close to my home. I didn't know what to do and just needed some hope. Renee answered the phone and listened to me tell his story and said I should definitely get a second opinion. She comforted me and gave me the hope I needed so very much at that moment. After the second ER visit (where they also gave me the same hope) I called Hoover Animal Hospital back (I obviously wanted them as my new vet). They took a look at him right away. And every time after that. Just kept saying him bring him up. No hesitation. No waiting. They were concerned for him as much as I. One day I was there 5 times. Then Debo spiked a fever one night, I messaged Carrie on Facebook Messenger (like she told me to do after hours)... as quick as I hit send, she was messaging back. Honestly, what other company do you know with that kind of service!! Doc was also nothing short of fantastic. He was so patient with me and just so loving to Debo. He did everything in his power as did Renee and Carrie! They truly care for others fur babies! And love them just as much as we do! Debo had a 50/50 chance and he literally wouldn't be here without them! They go above and beyond their call of duty! The saved my pup and saved my sanity! It's hard to put into words what the staff here means to our family! HOOVER ANIMAL HOSPITAL SHOULD BE EVERYONES NUMBER ONE! =)

Called to get information. The person that answered the phone sound as if they hate their job and had an attitude. Was not helpful at all on giving me information. Never been here but after that call I’m definitely not interested in visiting.

Got my dog spayed at this location and was a great choice, very professional and reliable.

Wouldn't allow me in with my dog. They took him in & came back out not even 10 minutes later & when I asked what the thing was that grew in between the inside of his lip & the outside of his gum they didn't even address it & still charged me $40! Never again!

A wonderful, caring group of people that really care about their clients! HRAH has taken care of my dogs for many years. The entire staff is amazing & my dogs always love going there! They always get superb medical care & lots of love & affection while there. Dr. Ioan has always taken his time explaining things & answering all my questions. Carrie is great & is a wonderful help when I need anything. A few weeks ago I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to one of my babies. I could not have had more caring people by our side. As busy as they were that day, they were all so patient & compassionate. Thank you HRAH for all that you do!

Dr. Refuse to sell me dog food to my diabetic dog they lied to me and said that they didn't have any which they did he wanted me to bring my dog in for $300 check up but I take my dog to other vets. I bought insulin and dog food with which he put her on for the last 2 years now he refused me because he wanted me to bring my dog in to get money that I don't have.

Our beagle had surgery today for 3 teeth extraction . She was given compassionate care and is now resting comfortably at home!

Lady who answered the phone was rude and not helpful

Nice enough on the phone, but don't believe the reviews that say they're getting immediate appointments. I've got a very sick dog and they're booked out for about a month, even for emergencies.

We had to have our 20 year old pug put to sleep and chose this office . I regret my decision. After the hardest decision to make this office made the experience even more horrific. I wanted something to have so I chose to have a paw print as a memorial not only for me but for the rest of the family especially my son who loved our dog Bam Bam so I promised that he could have the print which in no way takes away from the hurt but eases the pain to have a memory token. Well after a week we called to see where/when we would receive the paw print. Long story short WE WON"T they did NOT do it! The only response was "SO SORRY here is the $35.00 refund!! Well you can guess what they can do with the $35.00. I want and need the paw print but well we all no that is no longer a possibility so not only has my son been asking for the paw print I now can break his heart all over again telling him that the place we trusted to put our poor guy to sleep couldn't even follow through with the last request! This is the most horrific experience in my life if you care about your fur baby and it is his/her final days DO NOT trust in this office to make this experience as painless as possible the hurt will last forever and the final phase will never be complete! All we have left now are memories of the 20 years he was in our lives and the last day of his life was the worst day ever to be continued a week later with a "SO SORRY! Here's your $35.00 refund!

I was a walk-in and my Cat, Jimmy's was severely injured, with fleas, the doctor stayed over after closing and stiched him up . He was very kind and gentle to my Jimmy. He checked him over thoroughly before releasing him.

The staff is really friendly and take their time to answer any questions you may have.

Dog needed antibiotics, and they were charging double for surgery

The doctor is very nice and good. The lady who answered the phone on Thursday the 8th was so rude. She was busy so wouldn't listen to us and would not let us explain anything. If it were not for the dr. caring about our dog we would never come again

This was great my regular vet for my dog was unable to see us because they closed at 1 though my cat has never been to a vet because it’s an indoor cat and we thought it was constipated and it was late in the afternoon they closed at 1 which was a half hour and they still took us in they were kind thorough and wonderful will take cat to this vet and staff .And they had to stay open an hour and a half more than they were supposed to thank you

Pretty decent considering curbside. They took the time necessary and didn't make me feel rushed although they were standing out in the cold explaining everything.

Starting going there after my vet of 20+ years misdiagnosed my dog. Within 2 weeks my dog was 90 % better!! I highly recommend Hoover Road Animal Hospital!! The staff and doctor are amazing!! Carrie is always helpful when I call for appointment or if I need help! I also volunteer at at rescue and send some of our babies there too! Wouldnt trust my fur babies to anyone else!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Doctor will talk to you right away. Prices were reasonable. I will continue to take my pets there

The lady answering the phone lacks people skills. Totally makes you feel unwelcome when you have questions. Lots of bad reviews about her. Not sure why this matter has not been addressed.

Great Group of People Loving to my Babies

Receptionist is so rude im definitely changing my vet.

I brought my kitten here at just 9 weeks old after she had somehow broken her leg. She was in so much pain and she could not use her leg and we could actually hear her bones crackling. Dr. ione was very compassionate towards her. He put a cast on her leg which was to stay there for 3 weeks and gave her pain meds. In about 2 weeks she was jumping onto the bed and running around with her cast on. We were advised against letting her do all that and tried to help her avoid that as much as possible. After 3 weeks Dr. ione took her cast off and she had fully recovered! Fast forward to a year and a half later as I write this review, she has not had any problems with that leg! Thank you so much Dr. ione!

This is THE MOST LOVING AND ACCOMMODATING VETERINARIAN, I have Ever been!!! I brought an ill senior cat in late on a Friday evening. Doctor left the room and asked some staff if they would come in the following day to assist in surgery. That day was a Saturday. This was my FIRST visit here. They did not know me at all A pure love for animals is here!!! I will, NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!❤❤

My wife and I have animals for 32 years and this group is above and beyond! The excellent service starts at the door and you will get an excellent explanation of your services. I don’t always believe reviews so I say just try them after that you will not go anywhere else.
