Best pet day care ever! This is the only place I take my fur baby for day care & over night boarding! ❤️ They handle him with the best care and he loves them!

Well, I'm optimistic. My dog will be attending regularly soon, he recently passed his interview. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I like that they sort the dogs by weight and age. I only have a few concerns, one, when I did my tour there was a smell of urine in the facility, and two, I watch the live cam to get an idea of how attentive they are and sometimes I'm not sure if there is an attendant in the play area with the dogs at all times. Maybe they're just off camera. I will update my review after my dog has been attending longer right now we are at "wait and see". Edit: my experience has been mostly positive. They forgot to give my dog his bath when I had ordered one, but that's okay, the supervisor credited my account and was super great about it. They are really good about pulling dogs out when they're overly stressed, they put my puppy in the toy room with a little dogs to calm down when he needed it and I really appreciated that they didn't just let him get anxious without doing anything. My dog looks forward to going, which says a lot. Staff are always polite.

I haven't gone to this place for service yet. But I have delivered items to this location though. I can tell you just from walking in that first impression is awesome with this place. They have decorated their whole office like it's an older wooden cabin feel. Definitely is an awesome touch to the modern style pet places that feel cold and sterile.

I just started taking Rosie here a couple of weeks ago, and she now really looks forward to it! The staff is super friendly and seem to be there because they really do love dogs. This is now our “place”.

I have been using the Camp Bow Wow in Shelby Township for some time now. A few weeks ago I went to drop my dog off there as usual, since I'm pre-paid. When I walked in I was told that I now needed a reservation for even a half day. I asked when that changed and they told me, "an E-mail went out yesterday". I asked if there was any way considering I had scheduled plans that now had to be cancelled. There was no consideration or suggestion of an alternative option, just a cold no and the feeling of get out of my lobby. A couple weeks later I called to make a reservation and was told they didn't have any room on their list. Once again, no alternative suggestion was given, and had I not mentioned a cancellation list in case a spot opened up, it wouldn't have been brought up. So after all that I looked for the next closest Camp Bow Wow, which was Troy. When I called and explained what I had been dealing with in Shelby, the girl jumped into action the complete opposite way it had been handled at Shelby. She apologized and shared they were booked also, but made a point to squeeze him in since it was only half day. She even honored our prepaid fund without any real effort from me. I couldn't have been more blown away by the girl and as a whole, Troy's customer service and support. She was the polar opposite of what I was experiencing at Shelby. From now on I would happily go out of my way to use them because they are that amazing. Something even more inspiring is that from my experience their staff as a whole meets the highest caliber of customer service and support that I've experienced.

Love bringing my dog Delilah here! She knows where we are at when we pull into the parking lot and can’t get through the door fast enough! Huge peace of mind bringing her to a place that she loves and treats her like family!

I dropped my dog off for three days here and when I picked him up he was deathly ill with a cough, bloody diarrhea, and low energy. The facility is filthy and the customer service is terrible. They have a "camera" where you can see your dog at any time but it was turned off. They had a whopping 82 dogs on the premises. Never bring your dog here!

I left my puppy here while I was on a quick vacation, and I came back to a very sick dog who was shaking, had horrible diarrhea, and depleted of all energy. When I picked him up they told me he had a “little cough”. Well it was not a little cough, and I was NEVER called about his condition. I spent my first night back with him in the ER. I only hope that what happened to my dog does not happen to another dog. They should be ashamed of their lack of care and accountability. Don’t trust their “dog cams” either. Never once saw my dog on one, and they conveniently had a “broken” camera the entire time he was there. Cherry on top is that despite the pain my dog suffered and the hundreds of dollars I was forced to spend at an ER, I still had to pay for Camp Bow Wow’s terrible service with not so much as an apology. This was definitely my first and last time leaving my puppy here!

I am editing my review. They are unorganized especially, when it comes to boarding scheduling. I called a month or two before 4th of July weekend and she said she put us down. I called two weeks before 4th of July weekend to make sure and the girl said we were not on the schedule. I have had this happen a few other times. Also, if your dog has medication, don't bring it! One of our older dogs has bladder issues and requires a vitamin to be crushed into his food. I have told them this multiple times. I figured they were doing their job, but then instead of calling me and asking how to administer the pill, they tell me over the phone two months into already using them for boarding. Btw how do I get him to swallow his pill. Umm... seriously? This pill is huge and they are lucky they didn't choke him. I had to stop sending his pill because we had a package with them. I wonder why he is traumatized and does not like going there. Our package is up and we will NOT be returning.

Boarded my dog, Kalanie, for a couple weekends and used day care. She loves it-great exposure to other dogs and she is tired once she gets back. I recommend their spa options after boarding because she did come back smelling like a bunch of other dogs when I didn’t. I love how friendly the staff members are and remember my dog when we walk through the doors. They always let me know how she did during the day/stay. After a couple day care sessions, Kalanie is excited whenever we go. I’ve had no issues when picking her up and will continue using Camp Bow Wow-Troy :)

We have been taking our dog to camp bow wow for 2.5 years now and we have never had a bad experience! Our dog plays hard and loves to play for hours. The staff is very good at understanding each specific dogs needs and how to handle them in group situations. We just did our first 5 night stay. I called in advance to ask them how they think our dog will do overnight and they assured me she would be great and they know exactly how to take care of her since they have taken the time to get to know her. She had a great time and had a flawless overnight.

Camp is always super clean. My boy Bark Wahlberg loves coming to Camp Bow Wow! Being a former employee, I've also worked back where the pups play and I'm super impressed with the way the Camp counselors love our animals the same way we do! I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for daycare and boarding! Also, opt in for the bath before you pick up your babies! While the play yards are constantly cleaned, the dogs LOVE to roll around and get dirty back there and picking them up bathed and smelling great is totally worth it!

Worst place to go for boarding. My older but healthy dog spent a couple days there. When we came to pick him up, he had to be carried out because he couldn’t walk. He had been left unsupervised with larger younger dogs who attacked him—we saw the video, but apparently the staff didn’t or didn’t bother to intervene. No one called us to let us know he was injured and he was left lying in his urine when he couldn’t get up. The staff had been warned when we brought him in that he didn’t care to play or be around dogs larger than him. He never fully recovered from his injuries and died a few months later. The district manager tried to downplay the incident and was a total (censored). The only good thing to say about them is that the local manager assured us that the staff responsible would be dealt with appropriately, refunded our boarding fees, and paid our $300 emergency vet bill. Cannot post without giving them 1 star but they really deserve to get less.

When dropping our dogs off for several days, we were called and informed that one of the dogs nipped at a worker there and would no longer be allowed there if the behavior continued. There wasn't much clarifying information as to what happened. When I picked the dogs up, I was told of a completely separate and more serious incident with no proof or clarifying information yet again. The next time we dropped the dogs off, we were called and informed that the dog had nipped at workers yet again, but with a story that kept changing, and still no clarifying information. While there, the dogs spent more time in their rooms as opposed to playing, and they hadn't eaten much of the food we provided. All in all, the experience was disappointing. The staff claims something that is very serious occurred, but was unable to provide any evidence or information so that I can address the issue with the dog properly, if it even happened.

My dog Leroy has really enjoyed his time at Camp Bow Wow. It is nice to be able to watch the dogs frolic and play via the cameras. He made a new friend and was exhausted (in a good way!) when he came home. The staff at this location is friendly and responsive.

My dog(1 year old male mini aussie) loves the staffs and Camp Bow Wow so much. Before using their daycare, I had felt sorry for taking him for daycare. But everytime he came back from Camp Bow Wow, he looks so happy. And nowadays, once he realized we're heading to there, he really gets excited and eager to go there by pulling his leash. lol Staffs are so kind and very professional. They often tell me how my dog was like there. Best dog day care!
