Dr. Oosterhouse is great! She actually calls to follow-up on her patients and the staff is great. That is why my dog has been going there for 7 years????????????

Had an emergency with our pet which resulted in end of life services and our vet was closed. They were super helpful and informative. Able to get us in that day and avoided having to take our pet to the emergency vet. After the end of life services they sent a card in the mail with all the employees signature. Very thoughtful. 100% reccomend.

These guys are the cream of the crop. Even with an office move, being short staffed during the pandemic, they took the time to clearly and patiently explain everything going on with our sick kitty. They even called after hours to give us test results and explain them to us, knowing how worried we were for her health. The care, empathy, professionalism, expertise, and *endurance* this team possess is unparalleled. I’ve had pets continuously since 1992, lived all over the country, in cities and suburban towns, and I’ve never met such excellent vet health providers. They take care of your pet AND you. They really get the emotional stress and love that goes into caring for a pet/family member.

Took my dog in waited for 2 weeks to get her in finally got her in went in to pick her and I still don't know what is wrong 279 for what? To keep guessing what is wrong? The first time in the check was to be free yeah right.here it is almost 600 and still no call from the vet.I would say find a different place for your loved one.

I stopped going here after they wouldn't see my cat for a urinary blockage, I have a perscription for his food, went there to buy some because he is completely out and they wouldn't give me any, knowing he was completely out, petsmart not caring it anymore and even offering to buy the samples just to get him by, they still said no. They clearly do not care for the well-being of animals.

I was worried that one of my ferrets had an intestinal blockage, and after not being able to get into their normal vet in a timely manner, the number for Banfield was given to me. They were able to get me in the next day and calm my fears. Everyone was extremely nice and seemed to care. It's good to know that there is somewhere relatively close by that can see exotic animals on a time crunch.

Even short staffed, they work hard and still show care to their clients.

I have only used them for our guinea pig once. And they seemed to do well, my only concern is they don't have ENOUGH knowledge about small animals such as guinea pigs. Bare minimum. Very nice staff though

The worst vet visit of my life. Go anywhere else of your dog needs to be seen.

Way overpriced. I spent thousands of dollars there and did not get the right treatment.

I'm grateful that the staff & Dr. let me bring my puppy for a emergency xray even though we're not regular clients. They were great & my puppy is ok.

Banfield pet hospital is great. We got a new puppy last year and they have been taking care of him on their Optimum Wellness plan since. The staff and doctors are friendly and knowledgeable and they have very convenient hours 7 days a week.

My SDIT has just recently been fixed and has had 3 previous appts so far so good. Can't help the fact if it weren't for the virus I wouldn't have had to just drop off leave for 3hrs for first time ever vet visit but everyone there does a great job and shilo is healing great he wanted to be at regular activity level the very next morning

Love the convenience of this location! Pet Smart is right there, which is great. On this visit I did not interact with staff much as they came out to my car to grab my pet. Covid-19 protocols are changing but the staff wore masks. Pricing on their medial services seems fair to me and my experience has been very positive on every occasion. Highly recommended.

The awful vet there whom was not compassionate at all, overdosed my pug so much he died within three days seeing her. His brother whom I also have had same issues took him elsewhere and he’s doing so much better! That person Dr. O should never be allowed to treat your babies. I am devastated and after that they refuse to take him off their wellness plan! What a horrid place!

Difficult to pickup and drop off but terrific staff who take good care of animals.

Good vet and staff there. They get you in as quick as they can and take good care of your pets. Wellness plans are great for your fur baby’s preventative stuff. I like that they always ask if I have any questions.

Banfield has taken such good care of my guinea pig, Paisley!! Dr. Reynolds is amazing and very kind, and I know that Paisley is always in good hands with Banfield.

They are the best. They treat my Service Dog and understanding the we can't be separated.

This is where I take my dogs for any problems they might have. The staff is super friendly and my dogs enjoy being there as they're always so nice to them. The vets always call as soon as they notice or encounter any problems during or before treatment. And always call after treatment to make sure the animals are doing well. They even have wellness plans which are great monthly plans to cover a vast majority of vet expenses.

When My Cat Princess Eboney was Very Sick and I called This Banfield Animal Hospital in Traverse City Michigan, The Young Lady Gave Me the Next Earliest Time on The Schedule. It was For 2:00 Pm, and because of Traffic I didn't Arrive until 4:15 Pm, But They were caring, Understanding and Very Professional. They worked on Princess Eboney for Over 1.0- 1.5 hrs. I called My Sister Bev and My Best friend Elnora while I was waiting Outside in the Parking Lot. After 1.5 hrs Dr. Schultz, The PM vet on Duty told Me Eboney's Entire ORGANS WAS SHUTTING DOWN AND SHE HAD Stopped Breathing and They Revived her back But She was Suffering and in Severe Pain. While My Friend Elnora was Listening on the Other Line, Before Dr. Schultz brought the subject of Putting Eboney Down I suggested it because I heard her Crying in the background. I Told Dr. Schultz that I'm a Ordained Minister, This is the 2nd Cat ( Her Name is Smokey and the Vet put her Down in Evanston, Illinois at that Banfield Animal Hospital. She had Cancer) Eboney was diagnosed with 1 Heart Murmur, Kidney Failure Disease and Food Poisoning from Tainted food from a fast food restaurant I also ate from Big Rapids MI. We celebrated Eboney's Birthday on February 05 and She made 19 Years old.) I asked the VET to give Me 5 Minutes to Prepare for. Eboney's Eulogy and That Monday Night February 08, 2021 I held and kissed her for the Very last time while citing the 23rd Psalms whispering in her ear. She Made her Transition at Banfield Animal Hospital in Traverse City Michigan@6:33PM Dr. Schultz and I cried Together as He held Me in His Arms and they Entire Staff Knew Eboney from PREVIOUS VISITS AND THEY CRIED ALSO. DR. SCHULTZ MADE A COMMENT I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER: I'M SO GLAD THAT SHE DIDN'T DIE ALINE BECAUSE I SEE AND FELT THE LOVE YOU HAD FOR EBONEY. SHE WAS MUCH LOVED HERE ALSO. YOU HAVE OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE MONIES FOR THE DR. VISIT OR THE CREMATION AND COSTS FOR PUTTING EBONEY DOWN. I ONLY HAD TO MY NAME $23. DR. SCHULTZ TOLD ME THAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH AND THEY WOULD BILL ME FOR ALL CHARGES THE FOLLOWING MONTH. GO HOME. I'VE GOT YOU COVERED. I THANK THE BANFIELD ANIMAL HOSPITAL DOCTORS AND STAFF FROM BOTH LOCATIONS BECAUSE WHEN I NEEDED THEM THROUGH IT ALL THEY WERE THERE EMOTIONALLY, PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY AND EVEN SPIRITUALLY. IF ANYONE EVER LOST A PET THEN YOU'VE WALKED IN MY SHOES. IF NOT, KEEP LIVING. I OWE GRATITUDE AND MUCH THANKS FOR THE STAFF TO BE THERE FOR AND WITH ME DURING THIS MOST DIFFICULT TIME. Traverse City's Banfield's Staff is super Friendly! My doggie feels so relaxed going there for his Vet Visited which makes me relaxed bringing him. They always take such good care of him!

After nine years of paying for a monthly pet care package, our dog started vomiting blood. Obviously worried something was wrong, we called Banfield knowing we pay a monthly subscription to them. They told us our dog, being nine, was not considered a high priority and they wouldn't be able to see him. After taking him to Bay Area, they did the same bloodwork that banfield does monthly and found that our dog would need surgery. Not only does banfield not care about your pets, but they failed to identify a serious issue with our dog.

Dr Cooper and staff are amazing.
