I took my cat, Scout, to them because he got into a fight with another cat and he got an abscess on his tail. They gave me antibiotics and said they wouldn’t drain it because they have to put him under. And they won’t put him under to do the procedure because I won’t let them cut his balls off. How is that even legal. Denying my cat medical attention that he needs. Will be contacting a lawyer for sure

Just retired from the military and moved back into town was looking for a great veterinarian we found one in Dr Maggie and her staff. Very kind and caring Thank you

When I made the appt the age of my pup was discussed and it was decided it was a good time to get him a rabies shot, this is the only shot I cannot administer myself, hence why I called. Shortly after he was taken inside the clinic, while we waited in the car(because of covid), the vet came out and started telling us about all these other vaccinations he needed but was too young yet for the rabies shot. The price had gone from $80 to $120, without a rabies shot! They insisted we get his stool checked, and I can tell you our pup licks our faces ALL the time, if he had something im certain we would have already caught it from him. The vet then said she would call from inside with the grand total. When she called and tye price had gone up so much for shots that I am ok giving him myself I told her to do the minimum, at that point I just wanted my pup back. Even after I said no numerous times she still insisted on getting a stool sample, although he didn't have any to collect, so they took my money and sent me home with a "prepaid cup", to bring back after I collected it. They even charged us for medical supply disposal, that should be included in the price of the visit! Money money money, thats all its about! Not to mention my pup threw up every morning after his vaccines from them for more than a week! Never again, no thank you!

They're so sweet to the animals. Everyone seems so caring and kind, I live out of town and they did their best to work with the times I could drop off and pick up my cat which I really appreciate! They're great! I don't mind driving an hour there and back if I know my kitters is getting the best care possible.

I have a small Maltese that we were having issues with him vomiting. After they ran their expensive tests for pancreatitis or Addison’s disease and got their money, their only suggestion was to go to a specialist in Grand Rapids. They never offered any suggestions about changing diet, allergies, or any helpful advice. We spent approximately $1000.00 in one year’s time and nothing to show for it; got your money now go away. My new vet asked why they wanted us to take him to a specialist and looking at his records there is absolutely nothing in his chart to indicate why. They obviously are clueless when faced with difficulty.

Always taking care of my animals. Sure nice and super helpful. I have to give my dog special treats for her cause of her kidneys. I just call them and by the time it takes me to drive there it's ready to be picked up. I work a lot and I can drop my dog off and pick her up on my way home. My dog is getting older and she needs a lot of help and I think they have very fair prices! Thanks

I have been taking my fur babies here for years. Dr. Maggie, Dr. Katie , and the entire staff are the best.

Charged me $100.00 every 2 weeks for steroids for my dog. I paid them $600 over the course of 3 months. While out of town I took my dog to another veterinarian who couldn't believe how much they were charging me. The new veterinarian charged me $8.00 every 2 weeks. That is a $92.00 difference!!! Total rip off!!!! I see your response. When I picked up 2 weeks of medication with no additional services I was charged $98 for the medication. I picked up the same medication at the pharmacy and was charged $7.00 and when I picked it up at the veterinarian here I was charged $8.00 so what you are saying is untrue!!! Update. I spoke with someone from the animal medical center. They claimed that somehow the price of one of the medications was entered incorrectly and that I would receive a refund on my credit card (that at this point I have not seen). I tried to explain that even with the refund it was still way more expensive. I was given some excuses as to why. I feel that I should have been told that I could get it at the pharmacy for a much better price.

I took my dog in for some routine shots he was super excited as being out and the vet was pretty patient with him. The cost was very reasonable and we're looking forward to come by again.

Our dogs love going to the doctor there! Everyone is very friendly and accepting of every animal we have ever brought there. They make sure that they cover all the bases.

Dr. Maggie is professional and respectful of your time. She informed me of pricing for multiple services and while doing a compliment check on my dog, found something more serious. Great place and will be taking my dog there for the little amount of time she has left.

My dog had a porcupine quill that needed removing. Called first thing in the morning had it done by 915am. The staff did a great job!!!

Dr Katie has been our doggos' doctor for many years. Dr. Maggie has also. We have had two dogs in the past and currently Bella and Emily (our cat) go to AMC. We totally love AMC and trust our doctors with our animals. Bella was disappointed that the roosters were not out when we went last time! When I had to have my lab ( and buddie for 12 years) put to sleep, Dr Katie and the whole stAff working that day were in attendance for him. All had tears which meant so much to me. They were so kind and considerate to my needs as well as Sabre's. If you are looking for a clinic for your animals, look NO further than AMC. They truly are part of your family!!! Thanks so much AMC for all you do!!!

My husband has been taking his cats here for over five years. We have no complaints. The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. They are working hard to give our pets the care they need during the covid-19 pandemic. I sincerely thank the staff for helping keep our little ones healthy.
