Everyone I talked with was wonderful. They are thorough since this was her first visit. Very happy with our visit. So glad we have decided to make Dandy Acres are new veteraninary hospital!

I paid nearly $300 for a routine check up and two immunizations for our dog. A few weeks later I decided to take her somewhere else for a recommended procedure and asked for my records at which time they refused to share them with me. Apparently, they claim they undercharged me for my almost $300 dollar visit and wanted another $200 before they would release my dog’s records. I told them it was dishonest but got nowhere.

The staff at Dandy Acres was very professional patient and very thorough . Didn’t rush through anything took their time explaining things. They genuinely really care about your pet!

I took Sparky in to DAAH because he was having a problem. They took care of his problem. They are pleasant & friendly. I tell everyone they should take their pet to Dandy Acres! They're AWESOME!!!!!!!

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! My dog went in for a tooth extraction only to be picked up to learn half of the poor dogs mouth was taken out!!!! I’m sickened I’m outraged I’m disgusted !!! Over 20 teeth taken out, they are after the money, it’s heartbreaking this young dog is now disabled for life. Go somewhere else.

Our sweet boy hurt his foot and they got him right in, followed up continually and took excellent care of him. Gouda was cared for by Dandy Acres while in foster and before he was adopted by us. They took exceptional care of him and understand him better than anyone. Chris is wonderful! We are very grateful to have them to take care of our baby.

The staff here is second to none I have a shepherd rescue who had some issues when we adopted her a while back Through the care and advice provided, she has rebounded She is a happy and healthy pup I recommend Dandy Acres to everyone

I have been a client for 6 years with my 2 dogs and a cat. The service the last couple of years has been sub par if not unacceptable. The wait times are 30-40 minutes past your appointment and they rake you thru the coals anyway they can. This place once was a professional, reputable veterinarian. Not anymore. Running a clown show! Sayonara Dandy acres! You have lost my business and others to come!

Completed first visit for my 11 yr old Schnoodle Very impressed with associates contact and interactions. Education on interventions for optimal health and wellness was delivered in a professional manner. Their willingness to provide supportive measures and documentation was considerate and appreciated. I am feeling very secure that I chose this particular Vet Practice????

We’ve been taking our dogs to Dandy for 15+ years because of their consistent, professional, and caring approach to veterinary medicine. I’ve seen them get down on the floor to make our rescue dog feel more comfortable and pick up our smaller dog to snuggle her. Their follow up after major appointments is 5 stars! If your furbaby is your baby, go to the BEST and bring them here.

Exceptionally friendly staff that explained the issues and options with my pet's care. Checked in on my pet's recovery so often and were very helpful and attentive to any issues and requests I had. Would 1000% percent recommend!

They were all so sweet, understanding, and gave my daughter and I support .We had to put down our sweet cat after having him for 21 years. We miss him sooo much. Thank u for being there for us it was a very difficult time. My daughter grew up with him. The staff let my daughter put him in the bag and was able to carry him home to be put to rest.You have no idea what that meant for us to be there with him at the end. He passed away so quietly . Dr. Weeg is the best Vet I've ever used!!! Her medical and behavioral knowledge makes the world of difference when handling my two dogs who are afraid of being restrained, getting shots and blood draws. She is so patient and kind to my dogs and truly cares for their over all best interest. She is also amazing at explaining anything medical that comes up. Dr. Weeg has been able to accomplish so much will the minimum amount of stress at appointments. I really believe she could be the Vet to help my dogs overcome their fear of Vet appointments. Also, the staff I have interacted with has been wonderful and kind as well. This is a Animal Hospital worth every penny!

With Covid, and not being able to go with my dog inside to meet with the vet, it's such a relief to feel comfortable enough at Dandy Acres with every staff member that I know my doggy is in good hands, and it all starts with the very capable and friendly assistants who come outside to bring the dog in for his appointment.

Communication was very poor, they didn't give me one of the prescriptions and haven't followed up on my email about it. It's also very expensive. I normally give great reviews but I'd find a different vet.

Dandy Acres is just AMAZING! I brought my new Puppy in for her first check up and Vaccines. They were very professional and personable. I really appreciated how they took the time with me and asked many questions about my little Daisy Mae. I want to thank Shannon Mooney for guiding me in the right direction and for all of her help. I’m so glad I found a vet that I feel so comfortable with and I feel 100% confident she will be in the best hands for preventative care. ❣️????

I do however blame you for NOT knowing that she was in serious trouble!!! On, April 8, 2021, you examined Bob by a doctor that I'd never heard of before, did blood work, sent me home while you did x-rays (charging me for admitting her) and gave her a rabies vaccine even though she was ill (I consider this inexcusable!!!)! Cost = $574.11 2 trips to your facility for a total of 3 hours. Bob came home with the same symptoms, so I scheduled and appointment with Dr. Shantz for April 10, 2021. She treated Bob as she usually did however Bob did not respond. Cost = $360.12 1 trip 2 hours. On Sunday, April 11, 2021, I took Bob to AEC spent 3-1/2 hours waiting for her to be seen. They admitted her, ran additional test including blood work and x-rays and found things that I believe should have been found when she was tested 3 days earlier!!!! Bob died about 2 am Monday, April 12, 2021. Cost - 1,301.00 plus $85 for cremation. 1 trip 3-1/2 hours and a dead Bob! Total Cost - $2,320.23 plus 8-1/2 hours Dandy Acres - $934.23 AEC - $1,386.00 I have trusted you with my cats’ care for years and spent thousands of dollars with you! I have continued with you because of the relationship that has been established and the care and knowledge of your staff, even though you are quite a distance from me and I believe your fees to be too high. (i.e. I buy Lysine Pro from Wixom Family Pet Practice 120 ct pkg for $25.00 and you sell Lysine Plus (1/2 the strength) 120 ct pkg for $47.00) I am therefore, transferring the care of my cats to Wixom Family Pet Practice. Plus, they're only 10 minutes away. Please send ALL records to them ASAP! Respectfully & Distraught, Cary Whipple FYI - I am considering posting this on "Google" reviews.

Was super impressed by the personability that this place offered... My daughter just got a brand new puppy and needed to have him checked out they were happy to do his first appointment for free kind of a wellness check and then schedule his proceeding shots and deworming after that. I was also a customer of the Andy acres years ago with my cats but no longer have them so didn't have a use for them any longer... it's good to see business has developed into something that's completely tailored around their clients and their human owners. definitely will have no problems if I get a new animal taking them there.

We will never take our Fur Babies anywhere but Dandy Acres! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable beyond any other vet we have been to. We Love This Place!!!
