If you are looking for a veterinarian’s office that cares about your pet, this is NOT the one. I had an emergency with my Lab who ended up with a torn ligament in his rear leg. He couldn’t move and was in serious pain. I called Riverside Animal Clinic, this is our vet that had just see our dog last week. They told me they were too busy to fit him in! It was 2pm and the emergency vet didn’t open until 5pm. When I explained this they said I would just have to wait until then. My daughter and I frantically called several more vets that were also very busy. Finally, Veterinarian Health Center said they were busy but would make it work. My family is so grateful for their kindness in taking our dog when he wasn’t even their patient! They are absolutely amazing and angels, all of them! To be told by your own vet that your dog isn’t important enough to be seen in an emergency is the absolute worst feeling in the world. They can never justify what they did that day. I’m now looking at it as a Godsend, as our loving dog will now be taken care of by people that really do care about every animal that they see.

I have been taking my pets to Riverside since 1986. All of the doctors and staff are awesome. Dr. Brenner is our favorite but all the doctors are excellent.

My moms beloved 17 y/o dog passed away. I called Riverside on a Saturday morning and we were able to drop her off to get cremated right away. They also made an imprint of her little paw for us. Affordable and compassionate. I highly recommend.

We found riverfront on a fluke. We were just on unsatisfied with our previous vets and were simply searching for something we didn't quite know what we were looking for. Not only have they handled crisis situations with us immediately with a virtual call and the results couldn't have turned out better, but today we had a situation that the way they ended up handling it they have our patronage for life... Our Greyhound we found out has knee patella and in an office visit yesterday they prescribed him doggy pain pills and New Hope for us for our Sonny's current situation. So.... I find a bottle laying on the floor in my bedroom chewed and empty. I picked the bottle up and what I could salvage from the label made my blood turn to ice because I realized that my 7 lb Pomeranian had most likely gobbled up nine 100 mg pain pills that most likely would kill her. In a panic I called Riverside told them the situation they handled it without a thought and told us what to do to get our little girl out of trouble, everything of which they told us worked beautifully... But here's the real amazing part; I got a call after 6:00 p.m. tonight from the vet actually following up and offering additional information on how to get through the night and what to expect in plans for tomorrow to continue the aftercare (considering the amount of milligrams our little 7 pounder ingested should have by rights taken her life). Riverside gained a customer for life. They probably already had one before this situation even occurred... But you can't buy that kind of commitment and follow through and just flat out caring from a vet. I've never been more impressed, authentically happy and had peace of mind that we finally found a vet that cared as much about our animals as we do. Now I ask you... Anyone else find this highly out of the ordinary care and just absolutely impressive behavior from a place that did not have to go that extra mile? So Riverside ... Sunny , my Greyhound Butchie, my mountain cur, and Zena, our Pomeranian have finally found a vet that can make a real difference in their lives. If you don't take your animals to this establishment, what are you waiting for? It's guaranteed Peace of mind as a pet owner, not just a pet owner; owners that think of our pets as our kids. So Riverside, from the bottom of my heart thank you and keep doing what you're doing. Your services are second to NONE! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU!

They do an amazing job at caring for my animals

I've never been there. Appointments are scheduled way to far out. So, I have to drive all the way to Bay City (20 miles) when Riverside is 5 miles away. Not Riversides fault. Too few people in the work force and most Vetranary as well as Physicians offices are overwhelmed trying to fit people in. I have a good friend who is a semi-retired Vet who recommended them so I'm sure they give great care but if an animal needs medical attention it needs it sooner rather than later.

Our regular Vet was closed for a holiday, and we found ourselves in an Emergency, with my 16 year old cat rapidly declining. After trying multiple clinics, no one was able, or willing to see us. When I called Riverside and discussed the situation, the receptionist was kind, and patient and was able to schedule a same day appointment with Dr. Coe. Unfortunately, Rosie, our cat, Had declined too far, and we had to euthanize her that day. Dr Coe was more than kind and compassionate. She made an unbearable experience a little easier. At the time, they were only allowing one person in the clinic with a pet due to Covid- however, to accommodate both my self and my husband, they set up a blanket outside, where we were both able to spend time with Rosie, and be with her when she passed. I have had animals all of my life, and have lost many pets, and never before have I been able to say that it was a beautiful experience. We were so impressed with Riverside- and especially Dr. Coe- that despite them being over a 30 minute drive, we are transferring our 3 other cats and 2 dogs to her care. I cannot speak to the other providers at this clinic as we have not seen them, but without hesitation give the reception staff and Dr. Coe a full endorsement. EDIT: We have now brought our two dogs in and they both see Dr Sandra Cline- we are as thrilled with her as we were with Dr Coe. They also are very reasonably priced compared to our previous vet. Truly cannot recommend this clinic enough.

These vets are awesome! They really take the time to explain things to you and try to help. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Brenner! She truly makes me feel like she cares about my dogs as much as I do! She is thorough and asks a lot of good questions - you can tell she is thinking about your pets care from all different angles. I just love her!

We have consulted Riverside over the past 12 years for three of our labs, and have always received a high standard of care. The doctors are thorough with their explanations and great with answering all our questions. They have always walked through all of the available options, costs, and any next steps for treatments. I appreciate that they are transparent and mindful of each individual dog’s needs. I could not be happier with the compassion, patience and professionalism with all the doctors and staff.

dr cline is a great vet.

Grat place with knowledgeable doctors and staff. The only downside is they are closed weekends. Emergency and urgent care problems with pets don't disappear on weekends and I can't afford the huge bills from other practices for emergency weekend services. I want a vet that will be there for me always and is totally familiar with my pets.

The one female vet is excellent with my Alaskan husky's! They alway get good pampering there!

I highly recommend them. They were so compassionate and helpful when it came time to let my beloved fat cat cross the rainbow bridge.
