Dr. Baker and the staff are always very professional and considerate. Dr. Baker has even ask me to update him about my cat's appt. to see how she is responding. He is a very caring doctor. I've been coming here for many years. North Main is the best!

It is with a very heavy heart that I leave this one star review. We have relied on North Main Animal Hospital for 33 years. All of our fur family have been tended to by the professionals here. In every phase of their lifetimes. I have always paid my bills on time and never missed a scheduled exam. I called for emergency vet help for our senior cat who seems to have had a second stroke. I was told that they could not schedule her in for help until January 11,2022. I am overwhelmed and dismayed. I have not had to look for other animal help in decades. Please do not frequent this practice. They do not care any longer.

First visit with our new puppy. The staff was professional, friendly, and made our puppy feel relaxed. Dr Simms was awesome—answered all of our questions and concerns, took great care of Boomer, and explained the plan of care. We would highly recommend them!

I love the entire staff. Their first concern is always the best care for my dog! They are just the very best!!! Dr. Baker was very, very good with my dog and the technician Michelle also very caring and gentle. The front staff is always very professional and kind. I love the chats we have and Patti is a delight!!! Tiffany is always up for a good laugh and is very fashion conscious!!

Hard to get appointments these days with pandemic still so prevalent. Had to be persistent in getting same day appointment. Good thing Laurie called back when we got cut off, otberwise may have to try the next day. It would've been nice to have more available phone lines though. The staff was very attentive, keeping notes on all of my concerns. Kudos to everyone on the staff.

I brought my cat in for an eye and tooth infection and the vets at North Main took their time examining him and discussing various treatment options with me. I didn't feel rushed to get in and out the door like I have at other places. All of the staff members were very pleasant to interact with. Will be back next time my kitty needs care :)

Update 10/27/21: Took both of our dogs to see Dr. Simms, our old vet there retired. She was great with them, very thorough and easy to talk to, despite handling both of our dogs at the same time! As last year, you call when you arrive and techs will come out. It's nice not to have to be in the very small waiting room. :-) Prices seemed to have gone up. Update 9/8/20: Their Covid protocols are really good. Dog needed a flu shot. You call them at your appt time and let them know you are in the parking lot. They come out get your pet, bring it back and they call you while you are still in the lot for payment info. They have it setup so that your receipt and vaccination records get emailed to you. I believe you can have them bring out a paper request. Been taking our pets here for years. Good treatment by docs. Prices ok. Waiting room is super small so be prepared to keep leash short when you walk in.

We needed to put our older dog down unexpected, we called the morning of and they were careing and were able to help us threw a horrible time. Our beloved Beau was returned the next day which made our grief easier. Thank you to the Dr. and all the staff

*Editing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. The office manager did call me to reschedule my appointment for a much sooner date. We only waited 15 minutes for the appointment. The vets here are great. My dog just started immunotherapy. We were able to get itching and infections at bay with a couple rounds of medication, so I am hoping the immunotherapy will be a long term solution to his allergies. I love all of the vets we have seen here. I do not love the wait times after scheduled appointment times. All three times we have been to see the vet, we have wait 45 minutes past our scheduled time. I understand that emergencies occur and that extends things. I am also aware that they are busy and I am pretty and understanding. However, I am fairly disappointed in the way our appointment time today was handled. We just started seeing Dr. Fattal to treat my dog's allergies. I spoke with her over the phone on Thursday and she requested he come in for an appointment and fit him in on Friday. We get there a few minutes prior to our check-in time and wait for someone to get us. As I am waiting, I see and emergency pull in and shortly after a vet tech comes out to inform me that they had an emergency. After waiting 45 minutes after my appointment time with no time frame in sight of when they might be able to see us, I had to let the receptionist know that I could not continue waiting, but I understood that the emergency took precedent. As an alternative, I asked if a vet tech would be able to see him and she told me none were available. Then, I asked about rescheduling. She told me that the next appointments were scheduling out in December. I mentioned to her that Dr. Fattal scheduled the appointment on the day before, hoping she would understand that the vet was requesting he be seen sooner than December. She said I could call to try and obtain a same day appointment. I will try that and I will continue to bring my pup here because Dr. Fattal has been an amazing vet. However, I sincerely hope that my pup can get an appointment before December! I also sincerely hope that North Main can get the support and staffing they need to help reduce patient wait times to under 45 minutes. Sometimes I can wait all day long, but today was not one of those days and given it had been 45 minutes without any sign of being seen within the next 15 minutes, I just could not wait.

They really take there time and make sure you understand what’s going on. So friendly and attentive, I’ve taken my last 3 fur babies here. (2dogs and a 3 legged cat)

I would have been content to never think about this place again, but they won't stop calling/emailing/pestering me to make another appointment. CATS BEWARE! This place was recommended to me by people who have dogs and I'm sure they do a great job for them, but my cats' treatment was horrible. They lost the records I had requested be sent over from the previous vet so I had to go through the onboarding process three times. They left us waiting for over an hour past our appointment time with no explanation, only to have us see a completely different vet from the one we'd scheduled/they said we would be seeing. One of my cats was so distressed by the whole visit the vet said she couldn't even get the booster shot that we were there for in the first place. "Thankfully" they were able to do the far more expensive blood work for her, that was only done as a precaution and ultimately came to nothing. I only wish I had been braver to stand up for my cats care to begin with and just removed them from the whole situation entirely. I know my cats were new patients and they were prioritizing animals who were established patients, but if they didn't have time for new patients, just say so. It kills me to think how much money I spent to cause my cats so much pain.

We've taken our pets to North Main for years. Every year our dog gets HORRIBLE allergies, like swelling face, can't breath allergies, and every year he is prescribed the same medication to treat it. I was late in making his yearly appointment by 2 weeks and by that time his allergies had kicked in. They won't prescribe his allergy meds until he's seen, we're talking 6 weeks of complete misery and potential health crisis because they won't prescribe medication that they prescribe EVERY YEAR. Greenfield Animal Hospital was able to get him in same week to take over his care. If I could give North Main 0 stars for complete and utter lack of professionalism and actually caring for the health of their clients I would. I never thought I would see this team show such a complete lack of compassion and complete disregard for their patients health. Avoid at all costs.

North Main Animal Hospital has always been amazing to my cat and I. They are reasonably priced and very personable. They make it convenient to get into an appointment even if it is last minute. They take such good care of my cat.

I have gone to North Main for years. I'm sad for the recent retirements but happy for the Doctors who have retired. I am also very happy to meet new Doctors and have nothing but good things to say about North Main. Thank you to all the folks who work there and have worked there. Thanks for dealing with the daily and the added stress of 2020/2021. Mijo is recovering and doing great. We both thank you for the above and beyond yesterday. :-)

Veterinarians on 2 recent visits asked if I had any concerns and listened carefully. I was given recommendations on how to deal with a litterbox issue. The front office staff were welcoming and professional. Wait time was short.

This has been my dog’s vet for the last year. I believe they are ok, Nala doesn’t complain too much to go inside so I guess that is a good sign. The only problem is that most of the times the appointments need to be booked with a month or two in advance.

Yesterday I took my dog two N. Main animal clinic. She wasn’t eating and I couldn’t figure out what was going on. We saw Dr. Ashley Renolds and she figured it out right away. She was terrific, very compassionate, she found that my dog Abbey Road had a pinched nerve in her neck that’s why she wasn’t eating because it hurt her to lean into her bowl. She was very thorough and checking Abbey Road and very professional. She gave me medication for every road in some food that might be easier for her to eat. When I got home I lifted up her bowl She was able to eat. Plus she was comfortable all night. I’m so grateful to Dr. Reynolds. She really understands.

Even during this trying time of social distancing, an excellent experience at North Main Animal Hospital. I could converse with the Vet on my phone while She examined my dog. All my questions were answered and all my dogs’ vaccinations were updated in a very short time. My family has been customers of North Main Animal Hospital since since I was a child. Always the best care for our fur babies!
