Sorry. Wanted the emergency vet office across the he street. They were useless and no help.went to Wilson's in Romeo. I won't waste my time with local vets anymore!

All the staff is very nice and welcomes you with a smile. They're a very good option for your pet needs ????

My girl genie always loves her visit to the hospital. Friendly staff and great vets. I would definitely recommend this for your fur babies

We have been using OAH since the 1980s. We are and have been very satisfied with their treatment for our dogs and compassionate with our concerns.

There are not enough kind things I can say I about the veterinarians, vet techs, and staff overall here. My dog had been coming here from first shots, to Dr. Farr diagnosing her Addison’s disease, Dr. Booth and others treating her on a monthly basis, and everything else to keep her healthy for about 8 years. After monthly visits, these people became like family. And even though they’ve got hundreds of other patients, they made me feel like my pup and I were family to them. They even made the hardest day a little bit easier. I couldn’t imagine any other people being there for her last days and for me during that. This is a place for people who don’t see their pets as pets, but as family. Thank you all so much.

We took both of our 5-yr old cats here with hopes of establishing a relationship with a new vet office Everyone we encountered here was very kind and professional. We had a short wait in the waiting room prior to being taken to the exam room. We didn't wait long to see the dr either. We didn't feel rushed and appreciated the genuine concern they had for our pets. I felt informed and comfortable with them.

I really liked this animal hospital. Staff was very friendly and showed they cared about your pet and your concerns. Brought my cat here and she just loved all the attention! Lol super friendly vet and staff. Highly recommend!!

Wow, isn’t this interesting. The fact that Amber Wesley (whom I have never met), just posted the exact same issue I went through (see below). The only difference is I have a dog and she has a cat. Both complaints in the same week. I won’t spend my time duplicating her review, just read below. What upset me the most is how Dr Booth treated me when I questioned the duplicate charge for a well visit Holy *hit… apparently he needs the money more than we do, wow. A simple question to him led to him “breaking up with me” and saying apparently their “new policy change is not a good fit for me”. I could go on and on. Wow, this is NOT normal. Never trust your pet here for the PURE reason if you have ONE question… one inquiry, you will be outed and mistreated, by the owner Dr Booth. Very sad. I have referred no less than 25 families to this business and I will work just as hard to tell everyone to stay away. I personally believe Dr Booth is all about the profits, not the people (animals). Run, not walk. These amazing reviews you see are from the OLD school OAH. Sounds like even the workers are having issues with him (that’s on other websites in the community).

Dr Booth and his team exceeded my ecpectations. He is Professional, pleasant, concise, and gentle. His time examining our Golden was not rushed, or in anyway unpleasant. Lexie, our dog was treated with gentleness & respect. I Highly Recommend this Veterinarian clinic. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐???? ???? ???? durring a very recent illness, Lex was given incredible guidance and love . Lexie passed away after an 8 week illness. She gave us 11 1/2 years of LOVE. We will adopt another precious golden by Jan 2021 & Dr Booth will be her GP. Our newest Golden is " Marta" she is thriving and healthy. !!!

The staff is very kind and professional. My almost 19 year old pup had alot of things going on. The doctors did find out what the problem was. I'm happy I found this office

I've been using this hospital for the last year or two and I haven't really had many problems with them until recently. I scheduled an appointment to update vaccines for my cat (distemper and rabies) and the bill was higher than I expected. When I received my statement it showed that they billed me for a $60 wellness exam which I was not notified of nor did I ask for when scheduling her shots. When I called to ask about it they said it was standard procedure. My problem isn't with the exam itself it's with the lack of communication. I would not have scheduled her shots there if I knew I was going to be charged extra or I would have waited for a better time. There was no prior notification when I made the appointment or when I dropped her off. It's unprofessional and disingenuous.

This review is for AEC 265 East Second Street Rochester MI. IT is directly across from the Oakland animal clinic, but I’m not sure if they are affiliated. They are directly across from one another. It is a Terrible place. U wait 4 hours in your car to have your pet seen. Then they take your pet and don't let u in with them. Ran blood work and chest exrays to be told they couldn't find anything. Diagnosis was vomiting,, which I told them he was doing.. Cost 550 dollars. Two days later he was so sick so I brought my animal to Wilson's hospital and right away with a different blood text found he has diagnosed with having panceritis. Wilson ran bloodwork( a cbc test to show if he had an infection) which oakland didn't bother to run, gave him intervenes fluids, another chest xray and medication and it cost 360...big difference . I called Oakland animal hospital, left message with the dr. owner, talk to receptionist Dr. said Dr would call me back. She never did.the receptionist told me after spending 550 dollsrs I could bring him back for a recheck but it was a 4 to 6 hour wait in the parking lot.she could of cared less my pet was near death.. Don't waste your time or money. Just go to Wilson in rochester. Could save your animals life. It did mine..so I am leaving a review for the Oakland animal hospital called AEC {animal emergency center} 265 East Second Street in Rochester Mi

I honestly don’t have enough good things to say about this place. The vets are professional and friendly and seem to really care about the well being of the animals they treat. They make accommodations to see pets without appointments. We have never had a problem getting a vet on the phone to talk with us outside of an appointment. So happy this is where we take our pets.

We have used OAH for years. We had to pick up medicine that was backordered by the manufacturer (so we could not order online). OAH charged us $40 over the going online rate !! That is clearly price gouging . Shame on you.

They graciously accepted this abandoned bby bunny I found not moving or even able to stand up.

I worked here 6 years ago for over 10 years and this place is the BEES KNEES! Dr. Duncan and all of the staff members are amazing and very talented.

Took my dog in to have infected ears treated. Called to have him greeted at the door. Vet called my cell to report, desk called to get payment info. Met my dog at door to take him home. Very safe from Covid exposure for all, and dog received needed treatment. I highly recommend.

If I could give this place more stars, I would. I don’t even know where to start. My dog broke her leg and I had scheduled to have surgery for her at another location on 4/15. The day before the surgery, they canceled my appointment and told me they don’t do that type of surgery. I waited 2 weeks for this appointment. I frantically started calling everywhere to see who could get me in ASAP as I was scheduled to travel out of the county a few days later. Everywhere I called was booking out for weeks or months! I was referred to Oakland animal hospital and the techs left a message to doctor Duncan about my situation. The techs knew how frustrated and emotional I was. They told me his next availability was 2 weeks out but that they would leave a message for him incase there’s anything he can do. A few hours later, doctor Duncan called me and told me he would do the surgery in two days for me. I was shocked! I couldn’t believe how caring and wonderful he was! The surgery went so well and my dog is doing well! She has a long way to recovery but this wouldn’t have been possible without doctor Duncan or the staff at Oakland animal hospital. I am forever grateful for him and I will for sure be back! Thank you again!!

I came here for an ACL repair consult with Dr Duncan. The office was efficient, quick, and Dr Duncan took the time to listen to my pet’s history, and thoroughly explained the procedure and outcomes. Scheduling my pet’s surgery was efficient and quick. The estimate for the procedure was emailed during the time of the appointment, and the office also allowed me to request prescriptions for the post-op meds so I can fill them elsewhere cheaper. So far, a highly recommended veterinary hospital.

I would 100% recommend. They took time out of their day when my puppy had unexpected health problems. Just be careful that you don't miss your appointment as they don't always call you beforehand to remind.

Dr. Gillespie has always been great, taking time to always answer our questions and offer advice regarding our puppy.

Excellent staff! I've been bringing my dog here since July and they've handled social distancing beautifully.
