I have no words to express how wonderful this store is. I went in looking for soft treats for our chihuahua, Ollie for his last day on earth with us. I thought I was doing ok but as soon as I got in the store and explained what I was looking for I broke down in tears. The clerk not only helped me pick out the correct treats for our Ollie but then paid for it when I wasn’t looking! I have no words for the compassion and kindness he showed me that day. I will forever be a customer to The Urban Dog. They care about people and our fur families. Ollie loved the treats too. It was a perfect send off and The Urban Dog helped make an awful experience a little less awful. Thank you so incredibly much. I still have to tell the manager how amazing the staff is.

We recently switched our dog to raw food, and Mark (the owner) was a great help in navigating all the various options. He helped us find the right food when I was struggling to figure it out on my own. Check out the nutrition planning option on their website if you need help. They have all kinds of high quality food options, toys, etc. Everyone at the store is friendly and helpful!

We love The Urban Dog! ???? Our Goldendoodle started seeing Shannon when she was 3 months old and we’ve been happy with every visit. She really created a positive grooming experience for our young dog. The staff in the store are always eager to help and friendly ????

My doodles have been going to Ashley for 2 years now and we will follow her anywhere! She’s amazing with them! They’re so cute when i pick them up and my boys love her!!

I cannot recommend this place enough! They are a small business that treats you like family while still having extensive resources to help with anything your dog needs. They were even special ordering our cat food for a while! I would still be a regular customer to this day if we hadn't moved so far away... It's one of the things we miss most about the Rochester area!

The Urban Dog has helped us immensely with our dog's chronic digestive problems. We spoke to Mark in regards to nutrition planning, after going over our dog's history he recommend a plan for us to follow. The change was almost immediate! We are three weeks into the plan now and he is having normal stools for the first time since we got him almost 6 months ago. The staff are also incredibly friendly every time we stop in. Highly recommend!

Recently started taking my dog Bella here for nail trims, and they do the best job than anywhere else. The customer service is great and all of the staff are very friendly to us and my dog!

I would have liked the opportunity to try this business after all the reviews I read about this place being an "awesome" place to take your fur babies. But after 2 emails, with picture so they knew what I would be bringing, and two phone messages, it has been over a week, I did not receive a return response to my request for a quote or appointment. Therefore my review can only be on the customer service, poor. Like I said after reading the reviews, I was looking forward to trying a new place to take my babies, but they will not have my business if this is what their customer service is like. I did get an appointment after one message, in less than 24 hours at another business, looks like that will be my place going forward. All I can say is, if your that busy and cannot take new clients the courtesy of a return message goes a long way whether you can accommodate or not.

We inherited my mother in laws border collie after she passed. Poor dog hadn’t been groomed in a couple of years and we were told she was afraid of groomers. Shannon did an excellent job and this beautiful dog is a happy princess. We will definitely be back

Urban Dog is our go to shop for dog treats, supplies and grooming. The inventory and treats are varied and great quality. The groomers do a wonderful job with my dogs (a Lab and a Mix). The store is clean and well stocked and the staff super friendly.

I love this place! The staff is very friendly, and there are so many options for your dog! You can pick from birthday treats, or stuffed toys, or life jackets for your dog! 5 Stars is an easy choice for me!

Had what I needed. Very helpful. Clean and friendly.

Paid for full grooming. Stephanie groomed our dog. The dogs head was very chopped. One ear longer than the other. The following day, during vet visit, I was told the ears were not groomed or cleaned. Won't be going back.

Really frustrated with this place. I scheduled a grooming appointment for my dogs in June so they can be groomed in September. Their appointment was cancelled and I wasn't notified because their groomer no longer works there. I found that out when I called them the day of the appointment to see why they haven't called me to confirm and I was told that information about the groomer and they said they'd add me to the cancellation list. It is now 2 1/2 weeks later and still no one has called me to set an appointment for my dogs. now looking for another grooming place and God knows how much longer my poor dogs have to wait to get groomed.

Loved Urban Dog's "orange bag" day today!

The team at Urban Dog is attentive, helpful and just loves dogs. The shop is cute and filled with healthy food and great merchandise. Really though it is the little extras like a cute bow or seasonal bandana after grooming that we love and keeps us coming back.

I have been shopping at urban dog for 10 years now and enjoy each time I’m in there. Cindy and all her staff are great with helping me choose /try new things to keep all 3 of my dogs entertained and safe. My new grand dog Nala in PA is happy with her treats I brought her this weekend.
