Tried two days at this facility will never be going back. I am very upset. First day I tried to give benefit of the doubt. Second day was completely unacceptable. Six hours of “daycare” was actually only one hour out the rest of the time my dog spent pacing in his kennel. If I wanted to lock him up, I would have kept him home. One of the crazy facts in all this is that the play area was empty! Are people so lazy they’d rather lock the dogs up then let them play? Wow. Cameras are unreliable and glitchy. The next day he could barely bark due to spending so much time barking in distress from being locked up all day.

Nice facility with a caring staff. Our go to caregivers for our fur babies.

This place has changed my crazy, hyper, wont go in a crate dog! She has made friends, which she starved for. She has learned structure. She has learned how to manage being around other dogs in a much calmer manner. All of this is 3 visits only so far but many more to come! You have 24 7 view of your animal too! Great place! Maya loves you guys!

Always feel my dog is safe and secure no matter how long I'm away. Webcams provide another layer of assurance. Staff is exceptional.

We boarder our dog here this weekend. I picked her up and she is filthy. Her paws and chest are black and all of her fur is covered in a gross film and she stinks. When I picked her up I said “wow she is really dirty” and nothing was said about it or acknowledged why she looked like this.

Clean facility, friendly and patient workers. My dog's first visit was trying for all involved but was handled extremely well. My dog will visit there again. We appreciate everything they did for him, he was a tired boy by days end

Expected more based on the reviews. I know most of them are from those who board dogs though and dogs socialize much better than cats in general. We boarded our 11 year old cat for 1 1/2 weeks. Admittedly, he’s not the most social cat and this was the first time he’s ever been in a boarding facility. We saw very minimal attempts from any of the staff to interact with or to try to comfort him. Except for giving him food and water, he was pretty much left alone. When we dropped him off, we provided his feeding schedule which was completely ignored. That’s fine if we would have simply been told it’s not possible to maintain individual feeding schedules. But we were led to believe they would accommodate this. He was a very scared cat by the time we picked him up. Wish we would’ve seen a better attempt at comforting him. One of the front desk ladies was very unfriendly. I’d chalk it off to she was just having a bad day, but she was grouchy when we dropped off and when we picked up. We would not use again.

So happy with this place. Was taking my dog to the Rochester location for awhile but this is a lot closer and seems extremely clean. Really happy with the service!!!

First time having to board our 80lb pit mix dalmatian dog. Well he loved it and was a good boy. Tucker will be back. The cameras are awesome, I was in South Carolina and watched him playing, from the beach! Thank you All American pet resort!

Poor service and the Owner seemed to care less about the customer. My wife was kept on hold for 20 minutes only to receive rude and impolite response.You have lost us as a customer.

I made the biggest mistake taking my dog to the Rochester one before this one. We recently adopted a puppy and are still learning about him. I was nervous, and felt anxious leaving him at this place because we took our pup to the Rochester Hills location and every single time I checked the cameras to see how he was doing, the employees were on their phones not paying attention to the dog. This place by far is not like that if they are on the phone it’s to take pictures so we can see our pups having fun! They take the dogs out every other hour to play, Rochester Hills only goes out 2 times a day for 1.5 hours. Right there shows you they care more for your animal here vs. Rochester. They kept in contact with me constantly to let me know everything that was going on and made sure my pup was cared for. I have never felt so welcomed and so comfortable anywhere else like I did here. The staff was very friendly, attentive, caring, and made sure to talk about any concerns we had. I can not remember all the names but it won’t matter who you talk to on the phone, or in person they are amazing! I highly recommend this pet resort. Thank you for such a positive experience!

I am only giving this place 2 stars because they did in fact shelter my dog for 3 days. The negligent actions of this business are just astounding. I was not notified about my dog Jake not eating, was not notified that he was playing rough and had teeth holes on his head, was not notified that he caught something from a female bulldog. After a 337 dollar emergency vet trip I'm extremely displeased! He has a urinary tract infection due to the carelessness of the staff!! I will get my "luxury" dog services elsewhere.

Best daycare on the planet! Great people, great customer service! Best around period.

This is the best pet care facility in Macomb! I say this as a neutral party, as a vendor for multiple different pet care places, and AARP of Shelby is the clear cut #1 as far as cleanliness, attitudes, and friendliness.

For some reason they love our crazy puppy! I like that they have live webcams of the suites as well as the play areas.

Great pet resort with an awesome staff

Basil is not always calm here but AAPR does a great job with her even with her anxiety. I still take her once a week for me time and her to be around others. The best place ever ❤ ????

Monte seems to have loved it there. He still seems to be recovering from all the fun he had over the weekend. It was nice to be able to see him on the camera during playtime. Only issue is that my wife booked a camera suite for Monte, but when we dropped him off, there were no camera suites available. If there are non available, you shouldn't be able to book them ... kind of like booking a hotel online.

Brand new building and amenities, clean and cleaned all the time, well taken care of and the coolest ceiling fans in the back for your pet to enjoy.

Awsome staff pet friendly and makes you wanna come back cause your dog will be exhausted from play time always wanting to come back for more

If you’re unsure where to board your dog, look no further. You can even try a half day to test it out. My best friend recommended all American Pet Resort and I’m so glad she did! I started taking Mario here almost a year ago for our vacations. I rescued him from Costa Rica and he’s still a little scared of people and dogs at first, however he continues to improve. I feel that taking him here has really helped! For example, he was giving one of the staff members lots of love and kisses when I picked him up after our last vacation earlier this month. I love everything about this place, including the suites, raised cots, play areas, playtime, and of course the staff! Mario has so much fun here with all the new friends he meets each time! I miss him so much during our vacations, however it helps that I can watch him on the webcam anytime. The staff is wonderful and I feel that they know how to handle each dog individually! I have been recommending All American Pet Resort to all my friends and family and will continue to do so. I will also be taking Mario here again for all of our future vacations.

All American Pet Resort- Shelby is the only place I will go with my babies! We’ve been to a few others and nothing else compares. The staff is always super friendly and they are always very attentive of my “kids” when they are there. I’d recommend them to anyone!

Awesome service with incredibly friendly staff! Extremely clean and the pups are well taken care of. I took my dog Toby for daycare and a groom and the lady pups couldn’t keep their paws off him! Definitely recommend checking them out for daycare, boarding or grooming!

Dogs get tons of attention and get to interact with other dogs and have cameras to watch them while you are away.
