Meadowbrook Animal Clinic Rochester Hills, Michigan

Our dogs have been going to Doctor Pytel since they were puppies and I can not say enough good things about him and his staff. Ive NEVER had them try to talk me into anything. Almost every vet I have been to trys to sell me "add ons" like flee and tick, their type of food, supplements, ect but never has this vet tried to do that. Him and his staff remember not only us but our dogs every time we walk in. They are very nice to talk to and really seem to care about our pets. Cant recommend them enough! Its YEARS later and we are STILL taking our dogs here. I can not say enough how AMZING Dr. Pytel and his staff are. My husband and I moved to Waterford and we still bring our dogs here. When we move in the next few years to the UP you can bet that for all shots and thing I will be coming down to visit family around their vet times so we can continue to use him. By far the best vet in the area!

as far as im concerned dr Pytel is the best vet in the world. when I moved a few years ago I said the only thing I would miss about Michigan was our vet, and now that im back he's still the best. ive had a few issues with my new puppy and he's always been there to help and call me back asap with the best advice. to the commenter who said "this place is so full of itself" because they can't kick someone out of the schedule for you. I don't know if you've noticed, but covid is still happening and almost every vet in the area is booked for weeks if not months.

Fantastic service and kind staff. My 8 week old kitten was very sick, and by the next day she was noticeably better from their care. 10/10 recommend. Be aware that all emergency vet care is a bit on the pricy side. Will definitely go here again in case of an emergency.

Love this place. They've always gotten me in when I needed it and have given my pets extraordinary care. Being from a small town I wanted to get a more personal veterinarian and the Doctor surely checks every box.

I've been taking all my dogs here for as long as i can remember. It is extremely well run and they really care about your pets. They give you all the information and support that a pet owner needs, but ultimately you are the one in charge of your pets life. I've always felt free to make decisions without even being swayed in one way or another.

All I needed was a check up for a new puppy and they say their not taking any new patients how long would it take to check a puppy's elbows and hips this place is so full of itself

We highly recommend Dr. Pytel and team at Meadowbrook Animal Clinic. All of the staff is very helpful and professional. We’ve been able to call with questions in between visits and determine if another visit is required or if it is something we can work through at home. Our labradoodle loves to go to the vet and visit/get treats.

Doctor is one of the most caring and knowledgeable people we have ever met. Staff is great as well. Clear and calm always explaining situations and options, and never forcing things on you.

Our cat went blind and was getting sick a lot. No other vets have helped before like this one has. Even at a time of inconvenience, this vet saw our cat and prescribed treatment that saved his life. He is 18 years old and has returned back to his usual self because of this place. The staff and doctors are really nice. Best place yet.

I had an emergency when I first got my puppy and they were able to see me the next day! Dr. Pytel showed he was genuinely trying to make sure my pup was okay, and not just making us feel like another patient. Recently, I’ve had to take my cat here 4 times for bladder stones and they call to check in on her multiple times. When we had to change her food to prescription, he made sure she was handling it right and he even gave us more food to try and if she didn’t like it I could bring it back for a refund. Definitely the best vet!! I’ve moved out of Rochester but I still drive 20 minutes to take my fur babies here

I brought my two cats here a few times several years back when I lived in Auburn Hills. Dr. P was wonderful with them and seemed to truly enjoy them. My cats are both "anxious travelers" who think a trip in the car is pure torture, but they warmed up to him as soon as he touched them. While he talked to me after their examination, they sought petting and attention from him. It was remarkable. Highly recommended.

Small office, two exam rooms. Always get an appointment, and you may have to wait a week or so for non emergencies. Obviously almost every visit to the vet has started with me being stressed anyway given the situation, but Dr. Mark is good about calming the situation rationally, explaining in easily understandable terms. My cats seem comfortable with him, which is a nice bonus. Cats and dogs both come here frequently, so be wary if your animal doesn't like the other, as the waiting room is small, even if you're not usually waiting for long.

Dr. Patel is the best and the staff is fantastic. We've taken all our pets there for years!

The staff here is friendly and care about your pets. Have been taking pets here for about 20 years now. Even though I have seen the employees come and go, the great service has remained the same. Jamie is the best ever. She sat with me while we had to put my dog to sleep. She turned one of the worst moments of my life into a special moment, by just being there and caring...
