Very friendly staff, responsive, and have always enjoyed going here for REGULAR check ups. But recently my dog has been struggling. bad. He has gone through a lot of testing with nothing to confirm what's wrong and I was told to come back in 4-6 months...and they are still unlikely to diagnose him (the new Dr's words). My dog is not eating, he is coughing and gagging (likely kennel cough which would've been from his numerous visits here) and very lethargic to the point of not even being able to get outside the house to potty but I cannot get any further assistance from this office. They are making me feel hopeless as I watch my young dog suffer day in and day out and I feel as though I'm bothering them when my dog is clearly barely hanging in there. Unfortunately, I also can't get him into another office because of the long waitlists. I just want my happy dog back.

The Vet and staff at Shaver Rd Animal Hospital are phenomenal! They care for your pets like they are their own! They treat your pets with love and care, and are sensitive to your pets needs. They are also very respectful when talking to you about your pet, and offer recommendations for your pets needs. We boarded our pets with them while we were on a vacation far from home, and when our kitty got very sick they took care of her needs around the clock. Thanks to their attentiveness and care, they saved her life and made it possible for us to bring her home. They communicated with me often and were open and honest about how she was doing and even sent me pictures to get us by until we could get home to them. So thankful for everyone at SRAH!

Dr. B and her staff are fantastic. Every single person goes above and beyond to get questions answered, help with scheduling conflicts and accommodation. Bella is so happy to go and everyone always seems so happy to see her and they treat her with the same love that we do! It's such a comfort to be able to count on them! Thank you isn't enough!

I have taken my pets here with issues and have not gotten any answers, only charged for needless exams and other procedures I didn’t authorize. I have overlooked things in the past, like being charged for things I didn’t ask for, and not updating records like I asked them to repeatedly, but recently things have gotten worse. I was sent home without meds, sent home without a way to administer meds, my pet was discharged prematurely and most recently I was shamed for bringing my pet in after the fear of god that he may have a blockage was drilled into me. I took him in three times after his symptoms didn’t improve only to be told it’s behavioral. There’s nothing medically wrong with him. I expressed to the “manager” that I didn’t feel it was fair to be charged repeatedly, although I’ll still pay it. She became argumentative and combative. The front desk girl, Jess, is incredibly rude. I have been going there for years and find it sad they’d treat anyone that way, let alone a loyal client. Very unprofessional and sad. *In response, you must have me confused with someone else, I never expressed gratitude for that. I have gone to VIP Petcare due to my experience with Shaver Rd Amimal clinic. Along with communication, record keeping should be something your office should work on.

This veterinarian office is always the best. I just recently during all this virus stuff had to get antibiotics for my 20 year old cat Chelsea. They handled it quickly on a Friday. So she did not have to suffer thru it. Everyone in the office when ever we have gone in is always so so friendly. They always fuss over and love on my cat like she is the only one they have to care for . As a pet owner that is some thing you treasure because they are a part of your family They are your babies. I highly recommend them. Dr. Bowles loves animals ❤ and it shows. She is not all about making money. She worries about what is best for the animal not her bottom line. Thank you for taking such great care of our Chelsea. We will see you again soon.❤

I Love taking my dog here. They are very through and check everything from eyes,ears ,bones, teeth and over all health. They ask if anything has changed in my dog's health. They are very friendly and outgoing to the animals.

Dr. Bowles is the absolutely BEST VET EVER!!! She understands the love we have for our four legged family members and treats them all special.
