My cat milo was recently in for a procedure and i couldn’t have been happier. There was a slight hiccup with things but Dr B went above and beyond out of his way to fix everything and even seen my cat again after i had a question about the healing process. I appreciate this office so much and will continue to make them my animals primary vet office!

We love this vet! The Dr is great with my fur babies, they feel comfortable coming here. Their prices are affordable and they don't hound you to get unnecessary tests.

We had a gecko that had an injury. Our regular vet doesn't treat geckos. I took her here and got fabulous care at a reasonable price. When I had a question, the doctor talked to me on the phone. He then emailed me twice to check up on our pet. Wonderful, caring doctor and great support staff. This will be our new vet for all our pets.

I was so pleased with Dr. B at Bloomfield Pointe. I needed to get my dog checked immediately and expressed no one would take him until days later. He stayed late just to see Brody. Dr. B is extremely personable and knowledgeable. He worked with me within my price range and my dog is doing very well. Dr. B even called a few days later to check on Brody. I highly recommend this place! Extremely reasonable prices.

Dr Ballou saved my stumpy tail blue heeler, BABY, after she was run over by a distracted driver. Emergency surgery way after normal business hours. He's very compassionate, skilled and personable. The after care has been unlike any other veterinarian or human dr. This is the veterinarian you want looking after your pets health. Great job Dr Ballou! We thank you!

This place is quick and easy to get into but I'm starting to question why... I am overcharged EVERY SINGLE TIME I go there. They charge for physical exams they don't do... The rooms are not clean.

Keep the good work up nice place to take your pet

Took my puppy in on a initial visit here after I first bought him 2 days prior. He wasn’t eating, or drinking and constantly throwing up. Very lethargic and drowsy. The doctor came in took very few mins checking his vitals, which he was breathing very hardly and slowly. He asked about the puppies history I told him the signs I was seeing, he was up to date on shots. He gave my puppy 2 injections, of what I was unsure of. Later to find out it was b-12 and ceranine for nausea. I could barely understand due to his very thick accent.. He prescribed 2 liquid medications by mouth to help nausea and told me to give him pedialyte. My puppy of course was not eating or drinking… so of course he would not take these drops when I took him home. Long story short he ran no tests on him or even took a closer look, I paid $80 for this visit and the prescribed medications after the website says the initial check up is free…. this was a Wednesday, Thursday the very next day my sweet, 8 week old puppy had to be put down because he was suffering a bad case of Parvovirus which he tested positive for the very next morning. My heart aches that the doctor didn’t try to get to the bottom of the suffering I had no clue my puppy was in such bad shape. I do not recommend this place and had I caught the virus much sooner I possibly could have saved him. ????

Friendly staff. Seemingly all of the best intentions for your pet... 2 issues with this place. Pretty pricey, Almost $400 in 20 mims and he didmt xray" or "examine" my pups leg Basically told em to walk it off. Come back in a week if it doesn't show improvement. ...oook

Great caring service. Dr Shayne squeezed us in for an emergency when our regular vet wouldn't. Did a great job fixing up or for baby. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to help our fur baby!!!

My dog was neglected while boarding at this vet, to the point of abuse. Over the course of 20 years while the business was under the management of Dr. Timizi our family took two successive dogs to this practice for veterinary, grooming and boarding services. On May 28, 2021 my mother and I dropped our dog Cecile off for a week of boarding. We also paid, in advance, for her to be groomed and to receive her monthly allergy shot. Cecile has ongoing special needs due to a skin condition and had been under Bloomfield Point Veterinary’s care for eight years. Dr. Timizi was there when we dropped the dog off on May 28, though there was some confusion about who would groom the dog because they suddenly didn’t have a groomer. This was the first indication that something was amiss with the business. Before leaving we were assured all of Cecile’s needs would be met including her allergy shot, daily medicine for her skin and her groom even if the doctor had to do them himself. When my mom returned on June 7, 2021 for Cecile’s scheduled pick up the skin on her legs was raw from self inflicted scratching. An indication that she had likely not received her allergy shot or her daily medicine. It was also apparent that she had not been bathed. My mother was told that Dr. Timizi had sold the practice to a Dr. Ballou. My mother asked why Cecile’s legs were in the state that they were in and questioned the new doctor on when she supposedly received the services we paid for in advance. She also asked for a copy of Cecile’s medical records. This request was followed up upon by phone a few days later. A week on and we still have not received a copy of Cecile’s records, suffice to say we need them because we will never take her or any animal back to this practice again.

Dr. Ballou was the most friendly veterinarian and my dog absolutely loved him! He made getting our new puppy vaccinated easy and was very educational as a first time dog owner. Affordable and reliable ! Even had puppy treats and toys for him!

No complaints here. I'll continue to bring my pets here.

I wouldn’t trust your pet’s health in these peoples hands at all. I called a few days after my app to tell the doctor my dog was getting worse, I was instructed to wait another 2 weeks to bring him back in (your dogs fine, healthy) only for him to need emergency surgery that day and if he didn’t receive it my dog would’ve died.

This doctor is a no nonsense straight to the point guy and I love that , no special programs or extras that every other vet I've been to trys to get you to buy , the doctor is knowable, if your looking for someone to kiss ???? your butt look elsewhere he is about the pets and there health ! I take all my pets there 2 cats 2 dogs and even neighborhood animals and he is super fair , may be a little hard to understand but thats everyone these days , all around there isn't a better place for the money !

Great service great prices very professional

I was charged in overnight fee for my cat to be spayed. Then when I got there to pick up my other cat which was a male, he told me I needed to take my female cat home. I had already paid for the overnight stay and I did not receive my money back he refused to give me my money back. this is not a professional veterinarian and I don't believe anyone should ever take their animal to this doctor to have it treated for anything. When I brought her home she was disoriented and filled with drugs because he said she scratched somebody. He was told right up front that she's a feral cat and that I'm keeping her inside my home that's why I was having her fixed. I would not recommend this veterinarian to anyone!
