I recently started brining my cat here and I could not be happier. My cat is very skittish and shy, and the staff members really know how to make a cat feel more comfortable. Had a good experience with a kitty tooth removal as well.

We (and our four cats) love this veterinarian so much! Would highly recommend for any cat owners in the Lansing area.

My cat usually hates the vet and is very uncomfortable at them, but he was so chill and happy here! The staff is so kind and helpful. 10/10 recommended.

I have been taking my feline friends here for around 8 years now. Dr Lewis and Rivera take time to explain the issues and make suggestions, and all the staff there are very caring. It's nice that I can email questions too!

Everyone here is so friendly and knowledgeable. This is the best vet I've taken my kitty to. I had some concerns about her health and they listened to every single one and took them all seriously. I highly recommend them!

I can't rave enough about Dr. Rivera and the staff at Riverside Cat Hospital. Their prices are slightly more expensive than others in the area but they provide waaaaay more value and care than I (and my cat) have ever received at a vet. During my first appointment, they spent 2hrs getting know my cat and her stomach issue better and hardly any of that time involved me waiting around. My cat enjoyed sitting at the window for most of the visit and they would gently guide her instead of man-handle her during physical examinations. Dr. Rivera and I are systematically working to determine the cause of my cat's issue and Dr. Rivera goes above and beyond in answering my questions and following up on progress between appointments. Truly, if you want your feline fur babe to have the best care, this is the place to go.

I have an older cat with long hair who struggles to groom herself. Riverside has been a blessing to her and for me. Riverside has been extremely patient and kind with her care and grooming!

We just adopted two kittens and wanted to make sure they were healthy and up to date from the start. I've never been to a clinic where my cars were really calm and curious. The office was such a good experience! From the ladies who helped me set up the appt, to the 24 hour reminder call, vet tech, and the vet herself. Everyone I interacted with was so genuinely happy to see us. The care and attention we received was excellent. I can't recommend the Riverside Cat Hospital enough.

I LOVE Riverside Cat Hospital. I highly recommend them! I am a new client and found the staff to be extremely friendly & knowledgeable. They were very accommodating around my work schedule. My cat needed surgery & they worked him right away. The practice is clean and homey. My cat was very relaxed in the examining room looking out the windows. I am so excited to have found a new veterinary hospital conveniently located with evening hours.

My baby is 7 years old and this is by far the best vet I have ever taken him to!! He's a scared little kitty and they sat on the floor and offered him treats to coax him out of hiding during his checkup! They treated him like he was my actual child. When he was all done they even texted me a cute photo of him saying "im ready to go home mom!"

These wonderful people saved my cat Morty. I had already been to another vet and tried to get in quickly with others, and was told I would have to wait a month. Within 5 minutes of contacting Riverside, Morty had an appointment the next morning. The extra attention and care that Dr Rivera-Rios showed towards my cat, not only saved his life, but her true compassion let me know that she really did care. Morty was wasting away, and now is back to his old adorably obnoxious self. Thank You ❤️

Fantastic! Our new regular place to take the cats!

Took my cat to Riverside because he was spraying. Rather than testing for a urinary tract infection, the vet said he is stressed and prescribed PROZAC! Guess what? Still spraying!! Prozac does not fix a physical issue. Riverside tells me to bring him BACK IN, so they can test for a uti. No, thank you. The vet he is going to will do what Riverside should have done, find out what the problem is and treat it. What a waste of my time, money, and more importantly, my cat's well being.

I have really enjoyed coming to Riverside. I just had my cat get a dental procedure from them and I trusted them and they went the extra mile to get me pictures before and after and taking the time to explain things to me. You don't feel rushed here and they genuinely care about felines, keeping them comfortable, understanding their specific needs. As with any vet you can accept certain recommendations and decline others depending on your budget. I find myself caring for my cats even more knowing that my vet really cares. It's hard to explain. Highly recommend!

Excellent kitty care, always on time with appointments.

I have been taking my cats to Riverside for 10 years. Dr. Lewis is amazingly kind and caring. She will tell you exactly how things are and lay all of your options out. One of my cats recently passed after an emergency trip to MSU; Riverside sent me a sympathy card and all of the staff wrote condolence notes. Truly a clinic that cares.

The staff is caring and very professional. I adopted my first cat who was a stray and brought him to get a check up. They were understanding of my situation and helped me get a good understanding of my cats needs. I can't recommend them enough.

The service was good. But overpricing. Intended to get my 2 kittens there for vaccine injection (FVRCP and FeLV), but ends up costing me $500.00+ in total. They gave 2 kittens overall exam, each of them cost $58.00. FeLV/FIV tests(a test that determines whether the kitten good for vaccine injection or not ), costs $68.00 for each kitten. Two vaccines (FVRCP and FeLV) injections cost $86 for each kitten. No matter the vaccines, tests, or medicine they provided are priced 1.5 - 2 times higher than the local average. For example, they gave a description of a bottle of powder (100g) to ease my kitten's eyes redness. The name of the medicine was Viralys Powder 100g. They charged me $51.10 for that bottle where I found it the exact same one on Chewy for only $22.79. If you don't care how much to spend on your pet, go ahead and ignore the comment. But if you don't want to get overcharged like me, look for another vet.

I’ve gone here for five years and Dr. Lewis is really knowledgeable about cats and very good at dealing with cats that do not like going to the vet. I also really enjoy that there are no other animals there

Dr. Lewis and her staff were incredible in caring for my cat Jazzy. They tried every avenue to figure out what was going on with her, took my panic calls several mornings while she was terminally ill, and explained everything they were doing so well. Truly the best in the business, thank you so much for giving her the best care.

It was a pleasant visit, despite the circumstances. Did have to do a curbside dropoff for my cats visit. But it was not that big of a deal. The staff was awesome, collected the relavant information and the visit was short and sweet.

The vets and staff here are incredible!! They are patient kind and do a great job listening their people and honestly to their patients. I cannot say enough good things about the care they give my cats. It was such a relief to find this place after dealing with some very frustrating cat medical issues and even more frustrating veterinarians who would not listen to my concerns. They really know what they are doing, they really love cats and it shows and I can't imagine finding a better office to take my beloved furry Friends!
