My grandpuppies, huskies, haven't had any labs done in a few years. Stool testing, either. The female vet kept saying they looked fine. Finally started with a new vet. Older husky has stage 2 kidney disease. This could have been caught earlier if vet would have done labs. Very disappointing.

Excellant hospital for your animals. Great Vet Doctor and support staff. Looking to do the best for your animal first and then discusses the cost. Most animal clinics tell you what it going to cost you and ask how are you going to pay for it first before they will help your dog or cat.

Okemos Animal Hospital provides exceptional care for animals. I have several pets who have been in their care for years and I have always felt as if I’m getting the best care possible.

I had a bad experience where my dog had a UTI and I couldn't get her in for two weeks. I left the practice.

They helped me when my pet was very ill and needed enuthenized, Dr Alfonso has an amazing bedside manner and was very calming during my visit. They allowed me to pay for my visit via a phone message when I forgot my wallet. I will always recommend okemos animal hospital.

Okemos Animal Hospital is wonderful! Dr Alfonso is direct, confident, and compassionate to both the owners and animals. We have had only wonderful care from him, the other Vet, and all of the staff. If you are looking for a new vet - I highly recommend them!

First time visit. The doctor seems caring, but the receptionist upfront was less than professional (short blonde hair, in her 60s). Kind of made the visit unpleasant.

Great vet, quick service, easy to find a late appointment time, and cheap prices. I took my dog in for the first time after he suffered a puncture wound and have been taking him in for routine visits since. Dr Alfonso always recognizes him and takes the time to check the scarred area and will explain what’s going on with the injury and the reasoning behind his decisions and recommendations. I’ve had much quicker and more pleasant experiences at this vet than my previous one.

They are the best. They take great care of the pets and are always willing to spend time listening to you and giving you information about whatever the issues are. And I really appreciate that they do not run up unnecessary services.

Over the past number of years we have seen both Dr. Alfonso and Dr. Perkowski with our dogs. They have cared for three of our dogs, helping us through end of life with one. We could not ask for a more amazing group to trust our fur babies with!! If we could give them six stars out of five we would! They’re always kind, understanding, great listeners, and great educators. You won’t regret bringing your pet here!

Took a stay dog in to see if it was chipped. They were very nice trying to help me out.

Only vet I will go to. I would have given them five starts if the receptionist wasn't so rude. Everyone else there is great though!
