I had called to make an appointment for my sick puppy, and they seen her and sent her home. then with in a day we had to call them back because she was not responsive and they repeatedly put us on hold and in the time we were put on hold our puppy baby passed away. then they felt the need to drop us as a client “do to the incident with our dog.” and they didn’t even apologize for the fact we lost our 6th month old puppy.

Thank you very much for the prompt services today with my dog. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The price was very fair too! See you next time (hopefully just for a check up)!

Honestly, we've been going here for years, but we're looking into another vet. They refuse any sort of payment plan AT ALL. so if you have a very sick animal that's needs hospitalization, they require half down, and the rest on discharge! So if you can't afford it, don't go here because they REFUSE to with with you!

My favorite vet. They are not opposed to telling g you the diagnosis is beyond their scope and give you recommendations for a specialist.

A friend of mine took her cat in to get spayed and they didn't tell her that they were keeping the cat overnight. When she got there, they just took the cat and said goodbye. They also did not give her a cone or even offer one afterwards. They only gave her one pain pill and no antibiotics and no summary of the visit, just the invoice. Another friend took his cat in just for a checkup and to get vaccinated and when he went in for his scheduled appointment, they had no record of the appointment and just squeezed him in for the shots.

The staff at Animal Health Associates are absolutely wonderful. We became new pet parents to two rescued kitties (Ladybug and Lupin) in December, and brought them to Animal Health Associates because of a trusted recommendation. I have been so happy with my experience with them so far! The prices are very fair and they offer flexible scheduling options like morning drop-offs to make sure your pet can be checked out as soon as possible which is really nice for anyone with a busy schedule. Sadly one of our kitties passed away unexpectedly in February, but even through this the staff was understanding and kind. I would gladly give my recommendation to anyone in the Mount Pleasant area.

Dr. Imlay was so great with my bunny. It’s hard to put into words, but she passed away from an infection and I was so inexperienced in rabbits since I had only rescued her a few months prior. AHA was the only place who had staff willing to accommodate an “exotic” pet. I was just very impressed with how kind he was, how quick to adjust schedules the staff was, even though more than once we were finding ourselves in need of late or last minute appointments. Sometimes professionals can be a little harsh when delivering sad news, as I’ve experienced with other rescue animals I’ve had, but I truly felt like he cared and understood both of us. Answered all my questions, never rushed me, never made me feel like my concerns were silly, stayed late when I had to finally say goodbye...I just can’t thank you enough. Definitely one of the best vets I’ve ever encountered.

An amazing place I trust my fur baby to be. The staff is amazing and they genuinely care for your pets. I recently moved away and I’m missing how good my cat and I had it at this vet. It is hard to find a perfect vet like this one!

When my beloved cat stopped eating, they let me come in immedeately and attended to Oscar as soon as we arrived. Unfortunately he was dianosed with inoperatable tumors. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful. When the end of life was nessesary, everyone could not be more informative or symathetic. I never felt my needs or concerns were not met by the entire staff. I will always be greatful to everyone that day.

I love this place. The whole staff is so friendly. I take my mini dachshund to Dr. Wenban and it's such a wonderful experience every time. My dach is a ball of nerves and Dr. W has the most compassionate way that puts my girl at ease. She answers my questions, never rushes, gives straightforward information, and does a thorough job. She has a way that I describe as warm and professional. She's the first vet I actually genuinely trust with the care of my dog. I always get an apt within a week and the prices are extremely reasonable. Even cheaper than other local offices.

We've been a patient of Animal Health Associates for about 2 years now and all 3 of our cats go there. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the different providers, techs and front office staff. Everyone has been friendly, outgoing and willing to answer any questions we might have and offer advice when we experienced concerns with our furbabies. We won't take Henry, Polly and Ovi anywhere else and we will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a compassionate and caring vet office.

We called last minute to have our daughters pet rabbit looked at. They found a way to get us in before closing, and stayed a little late. The staff was very friendly, informative, and helpful. Thank you for your service and compassion.

Had to unfortunately make an emergency visit at 3AM this past weekend. They were there extremely quick to get there. Within 5 minutes, they told me to leave and head to lansing for emergency surgery. They made all the phone calls and set up the surgery with The Greater Lansing Vet. So happy with how quickly they got him in and how they took care of him. This vet truly helped save his life by getting us where we needed to go in a quick fashion. Thank you so much for saving my dog's life. Bringing him in for Staple removal next week. Wouldn't want to do it anywhere else.

Took my kitten there for an upper respiratory infection and to have her tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia since she was going to be staying at my brother’s with other cats for a few days. They said they’d call me within half an hour, I never heard from them until I called the next day and then they couldn’t find a record of our visit. Then I called a few days later to ask about side effects for the medication for the infection and they said they’d ask the doctor and call back in a few minutes, and I again never heard back. Very unreliable, which is especially bad in an emergency.

Great service. They are very knowledgeable. We had been trying to figure out what was wrong with our cat for many months from a different vet office called State Road Animal Hospital in Alma but they couldn't figure it out. We finally decided to go for a second opinion and we chose here. Best choice ever! Just looking at the paperwork from State Road, Animal Health Associates was able to figure out that my cat had cancer. They confirmed it with an ultrasound performed that day for half the cost that State Road wanted to charge us. They were very polite and compassionate when they told us that our cat wouldn't live much longer. But they were honest right there and didn't try to cover it up for more money for unnecessary services like State Road Animal Hospital was doing. We love this place, trust them, and plan to take any future pets we get here for their wonderful service with cheap prices.

Good place to go. Staff was always very friendly. Appointments for my puppy seemed pricey, but getting her fixed was very reasonable.

My Jack Russell mix was having problems going to the bathroom. I called Animal Health Associates and they were able to see him that same day. Their staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I will take my dog to them with any future needs he may have. Thank you Animal Health Associates

Thank you for not only taking great care of our fur babies, but being so sweet when we had to put down my mother in laws cat last night. Thanks for being sensitive to the humans as well as the animal.

Incapable of recognizing a heat cycle. Has a chip on his shoulders against breeders. I felt like he treated our single pair kennel comprised of two family pets like it is a puppy mill.
