PetSmart Monroe, Michigan

We went here looking to see if fish would be the right choice for our Family. The staff member who helped me was extremely knowledgeable, and went over all of the details about the different types of fish, and how they interact with each other. He helped us to make a very informed decision on what to get, and how to maintain the fish after we got home. Could not be happier with the service

First and foremost, when it comes to pets, buy local. Secondly, this is a cool PetSmart, I guess. Per the usual with chain pet stores, they don't have anything for any animals that is outside of the very beginner reptile/mammal scope. They didn't even have as much as a rat large enough for my larger snake, let alone a tank upgrade that's NOT an aquarium. Aside from being bone stock and VERY basic, you'll be greeted with pseudo-intellegent, but friendly staff that will happily guide you to the $30 150 w heat lamp. All in all, a cool place if nothing else.

All around bad experience trying to cash out... It all worked out in the end after some confusion.

Wish they had a better bug supply or live baby mice for reptiles, overall great store, awesome staff

I have been to PetSmart groomers with good results, however, this last time I had a different groomer. My instructions were trim paws and nails, bathe and brush. Her breed is not to be shaved as it interferes with her ability to regulate her body temperature. She was returned to me with much more trimmed than her paws and her rear-end was shaved. She is a show dog and I can no longer show her until/if it completely grows back. What is the point of giving instructions if they are completely disregarded?

I love the Monroe PetSmart .... great people, clean store ... nearly always have what I need in stock. It's the PetSmart website that I hate .... it has some kind of block on my account's direct payment processing and their customer service refuses to work with tech team/ bank card processor to get the block removed. As a small web designer .... I happen to know that the frau-checking algorithms DO make mistakes and also provide a way to undo those mistakes but I cannot get this company to even talk to the correct people to get it fixed.

It's your standard everyday PetSmart, but lately the checkout line has been insane. Like 9 or 10 people deep

It was fine. They had what I wanted and I was able to check out pretty fast.

This place is a joke ordered something to pickup instore 6 hours later they still haven’t even got the order ready but had no problem taking my money then telling me I had to repurchase the items in store and wait for a refund on my online order. The manager was a joke instead of actually helped me she gave me customer service phone number and had me stand outside and call she forced her job onto me. Not with it driving to pet supplies plus instead.

We can always find what we need for ALL of our fur family!

I'm there every week and they are very helpful and friendly? The only downside is they do not have a dog trainer in house.

Place is awesome and most of the staff is very friendly. But had one experience with a female worker named Jessica who was absolutely horrible. Had to call regional manager who fixed it all and handled the situation very well.

Great groomers, super job with our dog. We will be back. Eventually had to leave PetSmart, due to an extreme lack of availability. No groomers for over 2 months, then the day of your appointment, they cancel. No reschedule. There are much better groomers in town with much better records of availability.

If it isn’t Chewy, we go here for all of our dog necessities! Big selections & the employees are always helpful!

Always check their website for price of the product you are going in to the store for, ore than likely it's cheaper on the website and they will price match it.

Me and my mom took our dog in here to get a spa day so she could feel better and not itchy. We took her too the grooming section and prior to that we already had an appointment for my dog. We took her in their and the one groomer named Ashley(i dont know how to spell it) she was just plain out rude. She acted like it was a chore to even talk too me and my mom. Later we came in and she was still being rude and she acted disgusted and she was just very unpleasant. I'd reccomend going with Jessica our groomer we go too In petsmart.

Great selection of pet stuff. I had a laser etched tag made for my dog on her new harness I picked up from there. Very easy to use the machine. I also found a great variety of catfood. I was having a hard time finding a new brand of wet food without Chicken in it for my cat who's allergic.

Tell you more after i see how my new fish do.
