Just because the staff is cool, place is nice, and well of course, the adorable animals. Cheer anyone with cute animals. I recommend coming here

Place is freaking disrespectful to their pets bought rats and baby rats from here and something is always wrong with them from having lice to infections in their eyes and dies within a day or two. The employees are also rude when my wife told them what was wrong with our babies and they just don’t care.

Not a huge selection of merchandise and their puppies were expensive even though they're probably from a puppy mill, which means health problems and horrible conditions for the patents. To top it off, they had a canary at the counter sitting at the bottom of his tiny cage that looked sickly.

As always, nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Combined with great food for breakfest, lunch or dinner.

The staying conditions of the pets is absolutely horrible it’s small, no that’s an understatement they are tiny! The owner was rude! While I was purchasing the pet the sales girl stated my “interest rate would be in my packet of papers” (I knew it was going to be high)…but 158.99%???? I’m paying THREE TIMES the amount for the puppy than the original sales price That kind of interstate should have BEEN STATED CLEARLY not ohhh it’s in the packet!!!!!!! Never again will I buy ANYTHING from this establishment but I will advise everyone I know to stay away from this place!

I had a dog from this place, upon getting this husky he was small and malnourished. He had ended up being sick, not from our care but theirs. We spent nearly 4200 dollars paying for this dog when he was only supposed to be 1800. Please do not buy pets from this place, they make a profit from selling sick over priced dogs to unsuspecting customers. Adopt from a shelter.

Always fun to see puppies.

Nice store with a variety of pets but seemed limited with choices of supplies and food. Also had 1 manager working and being engaging with customers and 2 other female staff texting and just talking with each other.

They have the most beautiful puppies there. $6,000 for an English Bulldog though? I don't know about that.

This place was disgusting. The bunnies couldn't get to the hay to eat. No food, water bowls, bedding, or toys for the puppies. The owner of this store, the workers and the people spend money at this store, thus keeping them in business, should all be ashamed of themselves. I spoke to someone at the pet store about the conditions the animals were living in and all they said is "they will look into it." I HIGHLY doubt they looked into anything... those poor poor animals.

They cute puppies, birds, some reptiles, as well as bunnies, guinea pigs, and other rodents. The shop is clean and the employees really care for the animals.

Went for a bunny and got the cutest one but the girl that helped me had no clue about rabbits. She explained that she was new so I don't blame her, I blame whoever trained her.

This pet store has been at University Park Mall ever since I can remember, and it's recent remodel gives it so much more space for customers and employees alike. Gone are the days of a cramped show floor, and it makes for a more relaxed environment.

An ok pet mall store. No hiding huts for for small mammals ( guinea pig, mice, rats, ect.) Staff unhelpful/ unknowledgeable about the pets they are selling. Just me but I love aquarium stuff and they have none. To put this in perspective we have 2 dogs, a cat, 6 guinea pigs, 4 turtles, a rabbit, and 6 aquarium set ups, and I expect pet store employees to know how to care for the animals they are selling.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is kept nice and clean. Only reason for the low rating is the conditions of how the keep the pets. They sit in small plexiglass cages with essentially wire mesh floors with nothing other then that to lay on. They charge insane prices for the pets as well. Almost 3k for a corgi, over 2k for a husky, etc. If they did not buy from puppy mills and did not charge such insane prices they would probably stand to do better business. I'd also love to see the conditions for the puppies improve. At least put a small dog bed in there.

I think this place has been given some unjustly bad reviews. I've been there plenty of times and they seem to take care of the animals as well as most breaders I've visited. I checked online with former employees and they all agree the animals are well taken care for and the employees are treated well. As far as the accusations of puppy mills go....idk. We've got a couple animals people might consider as puppy mill puppies and they are wonderful animals. We just got Jordi (miniature pinscher and toy fox terrier mix) a week ago from Pat's. She's sweet and except for the needle teeth biting when she plays (lol), is a great puppy. Before you judge remember...puppy mill puppies deserve love too! Edit 10/5/2021 Recently noticed the dog we got there has had her dew claws removed. Puppy Mills don't remove dew claws ever

DO NOT buy a puppy here. I bought a German Shepherd in February of 2021 because I felt awful for her, she was alone and in a nasty cage. She was $2300, took her to the vet for first check up, she has loose knee caps, limps on and off cause of it. On top of that, we are going towards the end of October and I still never got her paperwork from the breeder, like her AKC stuff. Everytime I reach out to the store I’m told the breeder is “behind”.
