So speedy, caring and informative. Finding a new vet is always stressful but a recent move required it. Dr Love took the stress right out of our decision making and let us know we've made the right choice.

Not an animal hospital - just a vet clinic. Don’t advertise yourself as an animal hospital if you’re “booking a month out.” That’s not a hospital. That’s a vet clinic.

Response to owner response: This review was not pertaining to our dog Finn. It was about our other dog Ollie and had nothing to do with refilling medications. Im not even sure what you are talking about. Our dogs have never gone a year without seeing a vet. We switched vets so maybe a prescription was sent to you on mistake. This shows the level of customer service at this establishment. Original review: If you like the typical condescending Midland attitude this is the place for you! Horrible uncaring staff and the care provided not what I would expect for my furry family members.

Very nice and professional whenever we go in. There have been multiple times that we have also just called to ask a question or two. We always get a quick answer without having to go in. Great place!

Friendly people, very nice to animals

River Rock has been our vet for more then 5 years. We trust Dr Adams and Dr Varner with our two little dogs.

I love Dr. Adams. We left our last vet because they wouldn't listen to us, but Dr. Adams worked with us to solve the issue. My cats are jerks at the vet, but they never complain. She's also been great helping with our bird. I hope I never have to switch vets again.

We had to face the heartbreaking decision of putting our dog Harley to sleep. When I broke down sobbing Dr. Adams was there letting me cry on her shoulder as she held me. That true act of kindness is something I will never forget. She has such compassion not only for the animals she treats but for owners as well. Thank you Dr. Adams!!

The reptile vet was very helpful us and giving us information on our iguana .they check the weight sex and skin to make sure our reptile was a healthy one

Took our foster pup in, as usual great service, compassion and kept us updated to his treatment.

My cats don't like anyone. Took him here to have a surgery. Not once did he throw a fuss. They were so good with him, he didn't blink an eye.

In anticipation of moving in the next year, and due to the fact that our current vet does not offer after hours emergency services for clients, we are making the transition over to River Rock. Our dogs had their first exams this past week and I was very happy! I appreciate their COVID policies. Dr. Adams was very thorough - noting some things that other vets have not about both of our boys. She also had some very helpful dietary recommendations for us. She took the time to explain her thoughts and address my concerns and never made me feel like I was taking too much of her time. Staff members were also very friendly and very kind to both dogs. Logan & Ares are happy to have some new girlfriends (and a boyfriend lol) who gave them lots of snacks during their visit!

Holiday visit and couldn’t be more happy with their response and quality of care. Dr. Adams is the best.

What a trash veterinary clinic. Because of Covid I had to make my appointment 2 months in advance only to have them cancel it the day before and then offer a replacement appointment another month out. Totally unacceptable. My dog needs his meds and a teeth cleaning but I can't get meds without a checkup. I will not be using their services ever again and I don't recommend them to anyone else.

I’m not going to slam the other vet in town who was grossly negligent with my cat. But I will take the time to let people know that River Rock was amazing to me and my fur baby in a desperate time. They took my hyperventilating/sobbing phone call and told me to come in right away. They were incredibly sweet and kind and understanding. And they made sure my fur baby recovered just fine from the error inflicted on him by another vet in town. I highly recommend River Rock. I had my eye on them when we first moved to town, but I stupidly let my husband pick a vet. Wish we had been going to them all along. Had all records of my fur babies sent over to them today after our incident so they can be our vet moving forward.

We never made it there.

I just went in for a Rabies vaccination and they wanted charge me $29 for a "checkup" and then 20 some dollars for the vaccination. The checkup consisted of them basically asking me if he had been acting sick at all. I walked out. I can take him to TSC and get a Rabies vaccination for $15. They don't charge for the standard health questions.
