I am so grateful to them because they helped us in a time of need, without previous notice. That is the kind of thing you need when your dog is not well. <3

The Eastman Animal Hospital has been the best choice in the Great Lakes Bay region for helping my dog live the best life possible!! Very responsive to calls, reliable and dependable services, and the staff are extraordinarily professional. No need to look any further than Eastman Animal Hospital for the care of your pet!

We called them, they talked with us and treated our llama. They are a referral from one of camelid friends. Our new vets.

My son and daughter-in-law took their baby to be put to sleep. She had cancer and they didn't want her to suffer. When they took her in, they were told that they couldn't go into the room when they euthanized her because they weren't vaccinated. So she was alone with strangers when she fell asleep. That was the most evil thing you could do. That was their baby. Shame on you! Did you let people in before the vaccination was available with a mask? You could have at least let them do that. Then tell her mom it was her fault for not getting her spade.

This place is awesome and they really care. I was traveling in the area and my dog had an infection and I couldn't get anybody to give us an appointment. This animal clinic squeezed us in and saved our weekend. I work in a professional service business and I really appreciated the service that we got in the fact that they got us in on short notice knowing we had an issue with our pet.

This is probably the best veterinarian I have ever gone to. They go above and beyond to make sure that your animal is cared for and offer you different solutions. Great customer service!

My old lab Jake was losing his back legs and I had to make that decision so he wouldn't suffer through another winter. I am new to the area and asked around, but most people base their Veterinary reviews on price-point only. I liked Eastman's website as it highlighted all the staff, techs, and Dr.s I took Jake in for a regular appointment and it seemed OK. There was not much 'green space' around the building and the waiting room was a little dark and dated but I really don't care about that, it is not as important as the quality of care. I called back to explain the situation and the decision I was faced with and wanted to make the arrangements before-hand as Jake was 120+ lbs and I did not want to struggle to lift his lifeless body back into the car as I planned to bury him at home after euthanization. I asked about the cost for euthanization. I got him into the final appointment the following week and he was having a bad day, I knew it was the right decision. Well I didn't do my homework well enough because they didn't have an examination table large enough to accomodate him so I retrieved his blanket from the car and lay on the floor with him. I noticed from that vantage point that the room hadn't been cleaned in a while. Nothing super gross, just general dusty and dirty flooring. The middle-aged male Veterinarian ( I cannot recall his name ) came in and tried to be empathetic. He told me that he came in to the office today, especially for this appoinment only. OK? He went to prepare the shot. The Vet Tech came in to prepare the spot on Jake's foreleg for the injection, and I thought to ask her to run my credit card for the invoice, so I wouldn't have to do that part afterward, and she threw her hands back like I was offering her something putrid. She said no way she could touch my credit card. OK. The Dr. came back in for the injection, and there was a problem. There was a little blood and it wasn't working. After a few minutes of fuddling around he explained that maybe the dosage was wrong? I honestly cannot relate what he was saying as by then I was slipping into some dream-like state to just get through this. He left the room to prepare another injection and I felt my Jake was suffering and I was so helpless after all the planning. I heard some muffled voices through the door to the back room, it sounded like the principal vet, who I met on the previous appointment, it was all so unreal. He finally returned and admininstered the shot and it was done. I went to the front desk to pay the bill. I had actually managed to maintain some semblance of composure but my face was tear-streaked and snot was flowing from my nose. The lady at the desk proceeded to ask me if I had already been told how much it would be? It was a completely rhetorical question because before I could answer she launced into an explanation that regularly it would cost more than what I was told because of Jake's weight, but she would still only charge me what I had been previously quoted and she was blathering on and on and I felt myself slipping further into some other place so I could just function and get through this. I know this all sounds so dramatic and surreal and it was. She finally finished her blathering and ran my credit card and I turned back to the room where the Techs were loading Jake onto a stretcher to get him back into the car. On the way home in Eastman traffic I noticed the Dr. driving the pickup in front of me.

Our Great Pyrenees Dio loves the staff and Dr. Sherwood. They take such great care of him on regular visits and on emergency occasions. So glad we can count on Eastman Animal Hospital when it matters most.

This was my first visit to this vet and it will be my last. I was expecting a wellness exam, along with my request to have my pups paw laceration evaluated but apparently checking his vitals, teeth and overall condition was not a part of the $48 visit fee. They didn't even bother to tell me how the visit went, how he did, what medications they wanted to give him, etc...nor did they bother to go over the charges with me before they ran my credit card. My pup has a broken baby canine and didn't even see it during the "exam". Very disappointed and will be taking my pup elsewhere. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I took my Yorkie in for a urinary track infection appointment was at 4 she wasn't seen until 4:45 (this is not the first time we had to wait a long time they overbooked) and a half hour and 267.00 dollars later i took her home and she would not walk on her front paw so I called and the said to call back the next day then I took her back the next day and they said nothing was wrong and charged me 187.00 dollars more and would not discount it more the 10%

Fantastic vet experience in the middle of a pandemic. Staff was friendly. However there was no order of appointments and calling to notify you were there for curbside pickup.

Friendly staff, have gone to them for years. However, they're pretty pricey so I've decided to move elsewhere for a vet. Edited to add that i have returned to Eastman animal clinic as their prices have appeared to go down. As always, I adore the staff here and have never been dissatisfied with the care i have received.
