We have left this vet for multiple reasons. No one answering phone, no response from voicemails to schedule appointments, no response from an emergency voicemail, waiting for an appointment when we were the first one of the day (waited 40 minutes because she wasn’t there yet). Since going to a new vet, I am not sure why I went here in first place except that she is cheap.

Horrible vet, had an appointment at 11:30 sat outside til 12 because the door said call the number once you get here and we’ll come get you. I called the number 5 times and another one of their numbers twice, no response. And better yet my car doesn’t have ac so me and my 2 month old puppy were sitting in the car with just the windows down in the sun.

Can’t say enough how amazing this place is!!!! It was my first visit and they got me in right away for my dog who had been previously seen by another vet and was not improving . They were thorough, compassionate and SO nice to work with... I know have answers and some direction for treatment and some hope for recovery..... I will NEVER be in need of a new vet again. Love them!!!

We bring our Great Dane to Dr. Susan and staff. They are kind, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They are concerned with the whole-life health of our dog, and help us on a variety of levels! So thankful for this wonderful place!

We've been going here for years with our dog and have always gotten fantastic service and very reasonable prices. No products are ever pushed on us like at many other vets we've been apart of. Unfortunately we've had to call on them for some emergency services as well including getting stitches and everything has always turned out great. I really respect and apricate the high quality of service. And my dog greatly appreciates the treats when she behaves during her appointments.

Love Dr. Sue and the work she does keeping my older dog pain-free with monthly massage, laser, and chiropractic care. She's progressive as well, being the only local vet in town (that I could find) who was willing and able to perform an ovary-sparing spay procedure.

I had an urgent matter with my pup and couldn't get through to anyone here, so I went elsewhere. Instant regret! Sandhill really is the best around and I will not be going anywhere else as long as I live in this area. It is nice that it's a small practice and you don't get locked in a room for 2 hours waiting to be seen!

Dr. Sue and her staff are absolutely top-notch. Everyone is always pleasant, prices are more than reasonable, and advice and prognoses are always frank and honest. She makes caring for my cats easy for me (and getting them to take pills, receive shots, or simply get in and out of their carriers look effortless). Thank you.

Love Sandhill Vet Svcs., best vet (Dr. Susan) I've ever used! And my dog (Gracie) loves it there! Whenever I board her, she feels excited as if she's going on vacation. And I have such a peace of mind, I never worry about her when she's at Sandhill.

Top quality care at a reasonable/affordable price. I take my senior dogs for Acupuncture & Laser Therapy. I was also able to save & heal my pups leg/paw that was deformed at birth w/ Acupuncture.

Adding onto other complaints, I had called multiple times about having my dog’s medical records ready for a rushed appointment for an internal specialist at MSU. Even just printing out some blood test results proved to be difficult. The results that were needed were from the initial blood draw. The specialist needed the results to see the trend of some of the cell counts to get an idea of what had happened. I had stopped by the day before the MSU appointment, at the end of my work day and asked in person about just having some of the blood tests printed out so that we wouldn’t be running late for the appointment that next day. Long story short, from asking a simple question, I had left that day with nothing in my hand and when the medical records were ready, the vet had added onto the records accusing me of arguing when I had just asked a question about having something printed out. The records were ready about 15 minutes before the appointment. Lastly, I’ve even had one of the office cats bite my finger and break the skin...

Every time I came to the USA since I adopted Boni, I took him with me. He is a quadriplegic dog that was once a stray back in Serbia. Somebody probably hurt him, beat him up and he will never walk again. I know that there isn't a vet clinic in the world that would make him walk again but what Dr Sue does is close enough. She massages him and she thought me how to do it. She also does the acupuncture. My Boni is not in pain, he is happy and playful and he enjoys life - Sandhill's vet helped a lot and we visit this clinic whenever we are in America.

Do not take your animal here! We took our dog here for about 2 years and at first they were very attentive. Anything that was routine was fine, but then our dog got very sick. At first, the problem seemed straightforward, but four months in we were still trying different medicines and making no progress. We kept calling and they did not seem concerned. After the last round of medicine did not work, I asked to please speak with the vet to know what our plan of action is because our dog had been sick for so long and was not getting any better. They promised they would respond and when we got there to pick up the medicine they told us that the vet could only talk to us in a week after we'd been asking this question for months. We asked if we should seek a second opinion to try and better figure out what was going on and they said that wouldn't be helpful at that time. We told them that our dog was worse than ever, had lost almost 10 lbs (for a 40 lbs dog) and was having diarrhea and vomiting. They did nothing. We finally rushed our dog to the MSU Veterinary clinic and they had us stop EVERYTHING this vet told us to do. Within days our dog was starting to feel better. We have been with them ever since and our dog is leaps and bounds feeling better than she ever did with four months of medications, special foods, and endless amounts of phone tag just to get resources from this vet. We left a message for them telling them that we were bringing our dog to MSU ER and they never called us back or checked in. When we called asking for our dog's medical records they said they heard about the ER but never asked how our dog was doing. When we asked for our dog's medical records for MSU they made us wait two days and charged us $40 to print out paper because they didn't have "good luck with email." Lastly, when we went to MSU ER they treated us excellently and told us it was critical we came in. Our dog was very anemic and that vet emailed us constantly checking on our dog because of her condition and squeezed us into a specialist within a week. When we were in the waiting room at the MSU specialist we met another woman there. She was asking about our dog because she is so young. We told her the whole story and she asked who our vet was and my dad told her it was someplace on Sandhill. Her face got very serious and said Dr. Sue by name and said they left this place too because they cost them an animal. When we called Sandhill to let them know that we no longer will be doing business with them they said "thank you," and did not ask any other questions. Please take your animals someplace else. Although they seem nice at first, when you really need the help they leave you hanging and it could cost you your animal's life. Luckily we found that out before it was too late.
