The vet and receptionist were so nice to us, rooms are super clean too. They got us in the day that I called and they got test results back fast all in the same visit.

The absolute best vet clinic in town! Both vets are fantastic, they are very calm, patient and thorough. All of their staff is delightful and accommodating. We love Marquette Vet clinic and are so thankful for them.

We are so grateful to Dr. Brauer II and Dr. Brauer III and their wonderful staff. We are recent transplants from downstate, and were a little anxious about finding a new, reliable vet for our two pups. From the very first phone call through every office visit (including a surgery), everyone we've dealt with has been incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind, and thorough. It is obvious that they truly love animals, and want to see them living their best lives and feeling their absolute best. Thank you, Marquette Veterinary Clinic!

Misdiagnosis 10 times in a row told to "switch food" and without ever doing blood tests. After 6 months of torchering my puppy, we finally found a good vet who initially did blood work in order to diagnose an infection in the stomach and intestines. Maybe not such an educated vet? Maybe there should have been more testing before diagnosing. I'm no expert, nor is MQT VET.

This clinic, the doctors and the staff are hands down the most progressive, knowledgable and skillful clinics in the area. A wonderful blend of father and son brings years of experience and the most up to date experience on advanced procedures. High quality medical care with exceptional client service. It is clear when you walk through the door the clinic has a harmonious environment and they strive to develop a long term relationship with you and your pets. I am so thankful we have young Dr Ed. In a profession where progressive young doctors are choosing to work large clinics in big cities, we are very fortunate to have him here. I am grateful to have this clinic care for my fur kids. They are part of my family and I trust their experience and expertise. From reception to technician, doctor and owner. Top notch.

Amazing vet clinic. Dr. Brauer consistently provides compassionate and comprehensive care in both primary care and emergency situations. I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. Highly, highly recommend.

If your dog ever needs TPLO, I would HIGHLY suggest going out of state to a board certified surgeon. The staff and facility are not equipped for this type of surgery. Also they are very unaware of what type of medications to give a dog to keep him calm and comfortable after a major surgery such as TPLO.

A month ago my dog was needing TPLO repair. I called the clinic and the woman on the phone was very rude. After reading all the terrible reviews, and knowing Dr. Brauer III is not board certified, I decided to go out of town and I am so happy I did! If you love and care about your fur babies I would very highly suggest going elsewhere!

They were the only clinic that could correctly diagnose my cat. She is so much happier thanks to them! Extremely friendly staff and doctors, they really care about their clients. Always give plenty of options to allow you to make choices about your pets health.

We are new to the area, having only lived here 6 months with a 13 year old pup. She is having major hip pain, and the DOCTOR REFUSED to see her after we stated that we didn’t want her “put under” for X-rays!!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE for a “care” facility. They actually called back to cancel the appointment stating that if we aren’t willing to put her under, there is nothing they can do for us. Absolute GARBAGE company. Please call around before you take your animal here. NOPE

I live in Houghton, my vet here couldn’t see my senior cat with a returned ear infection that they had tried to treat prior. She’s a 21 year old cat and I was concerned she would go down hill quickly. Enter this clinic, I called and they had a spot within in the week for me and my Callie, I sent over the vet records so they knew her medical history. The receptionist, Heather, was so patient and kind, too. Dr. Brauer was also just as amazing! He had looked over my cat’s records before seeing her and told me things to watch out for in her bloodwork that my other vet didn’t even notice. As for her ear infection? He gave her injections to help fight it off, which also would end up helping her arthritis. We also got canned wet food to help calm her GI track down, she loves it, and I was really glad they were able to fill that kinda specific request for her. How is she now? Well, it makes me cry, I’ve had her my whole life and I can’t thank Dr. Brauer enough for being so kind and attentive to her. Anyway, she’s not only more active due to the medicines helping fight her ear infection, but she’s so much happier! While she may not be as spry as she once was, she’s more readily able to follow me around, she loves it. She walks better, she’s not curled up as much anymore, and for the first time in a very long time we got to play together. I know she may not be around for much longer so being able to see her in less pain to the point where she follows me all around the apartment fills me with so much happiness. It was 100% worth the drive for both of us. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I called and they were able to get me in the same day. The wait time was short, the staff was incredibly friendly, the exam room was incredibly clean (this stood out to me especially as I visited a local med place the same day and wished they were half as clean as the vets office!). To make it even better, the price was half what i had expected it to be. I definitely recommend Marquette Veterinary Clinic.

This office answered my call late at night about a pet emergency when my local vet (copper country) wouldn’t answer and told me to call ASPCA. I really appreciated the help and expertise of Dr. Brauer.

The entire staff at Marquette Vet Clinic is amazing! Our poor mastiff Sarge wasn't eating or feeling like himself for 2 days; they squeezed him in for a visit, did a thorough exam, treated him, and he's back to his normal crazy self! I love that young Dr Brauer explained how much the testing was before he did it (to make sure we weren't surprised when we paid, I'm sure), and explained the test results so I could understand. We will always trust our fur babies to the Marquette Vet Clinic. Thank you for being awesome!

The best vet in all of Michigan hands down! Very professional and make it super easy on the pets and owners! Always ready for you when you have an appointment, not wandering around waiting to get in. Terrible, never takes xrays of my dog when she gets hurt.

I have never failed to receive exemplary care for my cats. My cats were neutered and spayed and had zero complications. The staff is friendly and you can tell the doctor genuinely cares for his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Brauer to anyone. My orange cat is 18 years old next month and still going strong.

Do not have emergency appointments and could not refer me to somewhere that could help. Also the exam room is kind of dirty. I did like the doctor though.

I was in Marquette during the summer of 2017 and while hiking Sugarloaf Mountain with my rescue pit bull, DakotaBear, he partially ripped off a toenail.... Being from outta town, I was worried about finding a vet that would take us in as a visiting walk-in patient. I went, unannounced, into the Marquette Veterinary Clinic with DakotaBear. The office staff was so wonderful and welcoming, the assured me it would not be long before we were seen by Dr. Brauer. It was less than 10 minuets later we were in the room with Dr. Brauer and he was super nice and understanding too. Dr. Brauer examined DakotaBear’s toenail and at first thought it was just cracked slightly and could be left intact. However, after a closer inspection, Dr. Brauer decided and acted without hesitation to remove the toenail. I was so happy that Dr. Brauer acted swiftly and decisively, moving so quickly that DakotaBear didn’t even realize what had happened before it was done. Dr. Brauer is very professional and knowledgeable, the people of Marquette & Harvey are lucky to have a man of his caliber to treat and heal their furry friends. I can recommend without hesitation, Dr. Brauer and the entire staff at the Marquette Veterinary Clinic, they are all kind, caring, and very professional. -Nicholas K. (Tallahassee FL)

Thank you so much for helping with our animals over the past 12+ years. The reception has always been decent and the care from Dr. B is very professional. He is compassionate and caring as well as knowledgeable about his profession. When I put my dog down all by myself this past summer, he reassured me I was making the right decision because of her illness and he gave me all the time I needed to cope, grieve and comfort my dying dog. I would recommend this vet clinic to anyone in the area.
