I have been going to this vet for a number of years and they have been nothing but kind, responsive and professional. It is always a pleasure talking to Ali (Ally, Alie?) on the phone, I feel like they really care about my questions and my puppy.

Very kind, caring, pleasant, professional personnel. I thank God that I have such a wonderful place where I can take my animals!

Best pet clinic in town.

I have taken my dogs here for almost 8 years, and have always been very happy with the doctors and staff. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, and the doctors take all of our concerns seriously, and treat my dogs with the same kindness and consideration as if they were their own. The new location is somewhat far out to the east side, but it’s a beautiful space. I will definitely continue to refer friends and family here.

Found this place when I moved here from out of state, through a recommendation from a local retired vet I know. Love this practice and highly recommend Dr Van Fleet. Our oldest dog has had to have two procedures, a skin cancer removal and also some teeth extracted. Both went very smoothly. The entire staff seems very caring and the attention to detail is excellent. Great communication. Clean and modern offices. Have received the highest quality services.

This was our first visit to Oakwood since we moved to town just over a year ago. The staff and building couldn’t have been nicer! We’re excited we found our new vet!

What a great first visit. I felt their prices were good and Dr. Mason is great with animals (people too). All the staff were great with our puppy and very friendly and didn't push anything on me without an explanation of the importance. Absolutely feel comfortable having my animal taken care of here.

I was referred to Oakwood by a friend who has been a long time patient. I was in the process of getting a new puppy and looking to schedule a visit. Not only did the staff get back to me really quickly but they were just as excited as I was about a new puppy asking thorough questions and making sure everything was perfect for her first visit. We see Dr. Henshaw. The visit went really great and was definitely the most relaxed vet visit I have ever had. They are all about making it a comfortable environment for not only the animal but the owner as well. I didn't feel rushed during the visit at all. He was very thorough to make sure he answered all of my questions before we left. Not to mention this was a very reasonably priced place. 10/10. Love this place!

I cannot thank the team at Oakwood Veterinary Hospital enough for their care today. When our geriatric dog was at the end of his life and suffering, the staff quickly accommodated us in the midst of their very busy schedule. We were seen within hours, our dogs was given excellent care, and the doctor took the time to give our son peace of mind with this very hard decision. We were shown great compassion at a time when it was needed most. Thank you for your service and for exceeding expectations on a very rough day.

I have been bringing my sweet cat to Oakwood for almost a year. The last time I took her in I had received a quote for the services but when I got there they increased the price. I asked to talk to the manager and was left on hold for more than 15 minutes. When she finally did pick up she was very rude. I asked for a callback from Dr. Dana and I have not heard from her. I won’t be going back to Oakwood.

In 2014 I took my then Chihuahua puppy to Oakland Veterinary where she saw Dr Mason after adopting her from the humane society with a broken leg and pelvis Dr Mason did a great job with her and explaining her injuries to me. We relocated to Florida for 5 years then came back to TC. My now senior citizen Chihuahua needed some dental work and x-rays of her back leg as arthritis has set in. I had a choice of a new veterinarian or return to Oakland veterinary. I was so glad I called and Dr Mason was still practicing. I immediately made an appointment and I am so glad I did. I brought my chihuahua back in to see him and he called me immediately and explained everything he found on her wellness exam and what we needed to do from here on out he answered all my questions and I truly felt he cared about my dog. I know when my dog needs care she will be in good hands with Dr. Mason. I was not able to meet the staff because of Covid but I'm hoping to have that lifted soon so I can go inside to meet the staff.

They take good care of our two dogios! You can tell they're very caring and kind.

I am a disabled , retired dental hygienist. I expressed concern regarding my pets dental health. Dr Henshaw told me that I had to spend 1,024.00$ per year to have my pets teeth cleaned. He very arrogantly told me that I couldn’t afford his office then he hung up on me. He is more interested in billable procedures then caring for your pet. RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL and out of touch. Only interested in paying for his brand new building.

I went in for the first time and they didn't make a good first impression at all. They know what they're doing and are very knowledgable but the nurses arent the best. I took my cat in for an exam for fleas, and the nurse forgot to let the doctor give her a shot before bringing my kitty back to my car. So when she brought her back, didnt say a word and didnt even complete the transaction. Then right as we were pulling off, the doctor ran out and gave my cat a shot in the parking lot in 40° weather.
