I tried making appointment today they told me nothing available for a month for a new puppy. I feel that’s terrible for a new client with a puppy. I felt the person on the phone was not very friendly at all or helpful very disappointing when this vet came highly recommended from a friend. I give it no stars if I could.

The Vets are great. The support staff is fine. But they are just completely over-booked. If you need an appointment they are at least 2 months out for anything over than a life-threatening emergency. The set you up with health-plans but then frankly can't get them scheduled because they are over-booked. Go elsewhere.

I recently moved to the Detroit metro area, clueless on who to pick as a vet. I only accept the highest quality of care, with compassionate and kind individuals who aren't just doing their job, they're working with what they're passionate about: the health of our beloved pets. I called my AAHA vet where I moved from, and they recommended Madison Veterinary Hospital, and asked them to help me find a place as great as they are. MVH has performed above and beyond all my expectations listed above. And then some! They even have wellness plans, similar to insurance. My dog gets her nails trimmed, and goes in for office visits and to get bloodwork, all covered under the plan. It's amazing. This speaks to the costing of service here. It's reasonable, and they have things in place to help if you're planning long-term care for your pet. With respect to professionalism: the folks that answer the phones are delightful. They try to help in every way possible. The vets and technicians are all compassionate and have a really good sense of know-how when it comes to doggie and kitty bedside manners. Even my bratty cat loves them. They even let me do a dual appt with cat and dog, to be efficient for me, as well as for them. They're busy because they're THE BEST. and people know it. With respect to care level: ranked at 200%. I just went in today for an emergency visit and thankfully the vet took one look and knew what was going on. So GRATEFUL for this!! I was very worried about my dog. Every past visit has gone swimmingly, and my pets are happy and healthy thanks to working with Madison Veterinarian Hospital. With respect to timeliness: SPOT ON. I'm never waiting long for appts, even when I arrive early. When I moved here, It took a few weeks to get in, because it's a new pet/client for MVH. I was scheduling so my pet and the vet could meet, pet get a wellness check, and vets to document the baselines of my dog's health. THIS IS GREAT PRACTICE!! The reason being: the staff at MVH are prioritizing those pets who are sick / in need higher need of medical attention. Those are typically a lot more urgent than just registering and getting a wellness check. To be honest, any business can be like a restaurant: don't go if you don't see cars in the parking lot. If they're busy, then you know they're doing things right. This is Madison Veterinary Hospital, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone wanting the absolute top tier of care for their pets.

Discovered this Veterinary practice when we had a sick guinea pig and pet store referred us to them. They were able to assist at the last minute when we needed to put our cat down and our other vets was already closed. Such compassion and very caring. We now take both guinea pigs and our new cat here.

I could not say enough good things about Madison Veterinary Hospital. We have seen all of the vets at this practice throughout the years and have always had wonderful care. The doctors at this office are very invested in their clients and very thorough in their care. Dr. Marszalec is so dedicated, she always returns calls personally, even late after a long day. We have had to take our pet to a specialist and Dr. Marszalec stays up with every report, lab and issue that comes up and has guided us and coordinated the process the whole way. It really shows how much she and the entire staff cares, I could not recommend them enough!

I have always been happy with the staff and treatment at Madison Veterinary Hospital, which is why I've chosen to continue to take my dog there when I live almost a half hour away. However, last night when I had to put down my best friend, I received an experience above and beyond any expectations I had from talking with other people about their experiences elsewhere. I will forever be grateful to the staff for their amazing treatment of my precious Sassy girl, as well as that of my daughter and myself. I never could have imagined such a comfortable, peaceful, and personal touch to an otherwise terrible situation.

I used to drive my cats almost 2 hours away to see a certain vet, because I’m THAT picky when it comes to my cats. I recently adopted a new kitten and wanted to try a new vet for convenience, I absolutely love everything about it here. We like to see Dr Levy but all of the doctors and staff we have met are wonderful. I can tell they really care about my cat and they are always very excited to see her. Most importantly- even my cat loves it here! She is always excited when she sees where we are. I really appreciate that the day after a big appointment they always call to check in on the cat as well.

I thank them so much for being patient and so kind! They treat your animals like they are your precious babies. They are also very thorough which I appreciated because my regular vet was not.

They were awesome in the beginning but they Persuade you to sign a contract saying that they would take care of your Four-legged baby. every time your animal has a problem or needs some type of vaccination they never have any appointments available if you have a puppy go for it .once your dogg starts to get a little bit older and might need a little bit more care ,do not! I repeat do not! go to this place .They will never have any appointments available and will have your appointment date Scheduled out three for months before they can get you in , by then your beloved family member will have even more health issues look for someplace else it’s not worth it

Words cannot describe how compassionate the staff here is, our older dog was needing to be put down and was suffering but we could not find a place that could take him in same day. When I called madison vet they found a way to get me in. The service, care, treatment of our dog and my family was outstanding. I honestly wish I could give more stars. Keep up the good work!

I brought my girl Josie to the vet on July 3rd. Reason being she was hacking up blood and I needed xrays and bloodwork done if need be. They brought her out to the car and said she's in great health for her age (13). Dr. Levy said she's fine and I don't know why she coughed up blood!!!! They didn't do what I asked them to do. 11 days later she collapsed and died on my front lawn. She coughed up blood twice and died in my arms!!! Ok maybe she was sick but they didn't check her out they just took my money!

Madison Veterinary Hospital is amazing, I highly recommend. My dog had congestive heart failure and I'm soo happy I transferred here. They accomodated everything and were excellent with her. Dr. Rollo and the staff were compassionate and caring and she received the highest level of care. We also took her here for her final goodbye and I was blown away with the treatment we received. They even sent us a card after, signed by the whole staff, and its such heart-warming feeling. I can't say enough about how great they are.

We brought our beloved Dotty who was very sick into madison veterinary Feb. 15th, they were very caring and professional, We had to put her down that day and we can't say enough for the staff how they treated us and Dotty, We will always be so grateful for your kindness and for the cast that you made us of her paw, We will bring our other dog into this vet, thank you again, Jack & Doris Zamojcin

Take your pet and get out of there as fast as you can. $900.00 diagnostic fee, and a very quick exam. I waited outside as instructed, as the woman in the parking space next to me loaded her deceased cat, ... no box, not even a blanket... into the passenger seat next to her. They claimed there was nothing they could do for my cat except have him cremated for an additional $300.00, and that it would be an additional $55 to euthanize him, but before she could bark the sentence out, he stopped breathing. When I balked at the additional 300 dollar fee and asked for my cat so I could bury him myself, they called the police on me and I had to go through the humiliation of a field sobriety test, on top of everything else. (I was sober). Do not go here..these people are money hungry, insensitive, and a little bit crazy.

Very kind and helpful staff and docs at Madison, taking great care of our dogs! Appointments and scheduling, parking lot hand offs of our dogs are prompt and seamless! 5 stars!

They helped me when NO else would! Kind & caring & wasn’t about the all mighty buck! I go back & refer anyone to go. Some places it’s a job but what I experienced today show me that they truly do it for the LOVE of the animals!

Amazing doctors and staff! My kitten has a heart condition, so he's a frequent visitor and every visit is a pleasant experience. I also love how quick they answer any questions you may have. If you want your furbabies taken care of the right way, this is the place to go!

The entire staff was amazing during my kitty's care and boarding. Very kind, compassionate and professional, especially Dr. Levy. I highly recommend them.

Well... I adopted two puppies and took them here during quarantine, and did there puppy plan. I found a home for the two puppies at the end of June, I started calling July 5th to stop them charging my card every month. I kept getting told someone would call me and break down my plan and let me know if I owed or they owed me, now keep in mind I probably took the puppies there two or three times and the first time I paid ???? without the puppy plan, second time I got the puppy plan and never went back. I have called once a week or even twice and the woman in charge was never there and never got to it! So finally I get her on the phone today and she tells me I owe money which is impossible unless there prices are that outrageous! So instead of calling me back and breaking it down to me I had to call for 2 and half months , still never broke it down and was so rude! Never apologized for never getting to it nothing! Wanted to speak to a manager and like I’m always told she is also never available! I will never go back, not because of the actual vets but because of how this business is ran so unprofessionally, and never give them your credit card to charge monthly because if you ever want to end it , forget about it , they will simply get to you when they feel like it and act as if it’s not big deal! I believe her name was Carol that was so rude on the phone .

My family has been coming to Madison Vet for almost 25 years. Over the years they have taken excellent care of our dachshunds! The staff is ALWAYS so kind and understanding, and the veterinarians are phenomenal! I highly recommend Madison Vet! They are so personable and treat everyone like family.

Dr. Nicole Grube indicated my dog had a tumor in her back paw. Scared us into believing it could be cancer. The Dr did surgery on her paw. Half of her paw is gone, stitches so tight they split exposing a bone. Not only was it NOT cancer, we're told to take her to a surgeon for her exposed bone. She's not a surgeon. . Do your homework. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Madison is a great vet clinic. Their staff is extremely professional and thorough. I trust them with both of my dogs and haven't been disappointed with the service or care. We see Dr. Levey and highly recommend her!

The best vet clinic ever.

I have been bringing my cat to Madison Veterinary Hospital for the last 4 years and have never had a bad experience. Whether I’ve called and spoken vet tech or come into see a veterinarian, the service has been incredible. Whenever I’ve called with a question, the vet techs have been quick to respond, take the time to listen and understand, and have given great suggestions. Whenever I’ve brought in my cat, we’ve seen Dr. Levey, and we cannot say enough good things! She’s fantastic with my cat—very patient and thorough, and is such a kind and good-natured person. She always gives me a detailed report and provides excellent suggestions for managing my cat’s health. And when our appointment is over, I never have “sticker shock” when I get the bill.

I would never, ever take my beloved pets anywhere else. I trust the care of the team at Madison Vet Hospital with my whole heart. Thank you for all you do. Your hard work, dedicated and care to animals does not go unnoticed.

"Every client, every pet, every time" (slogan from their website). The ONLY reason I considered 2 stars is due to the very kind person in the front desk. I came in this weekend with my sudden sick cat. I came in at 2:15pm with closing time at 4:00pm. There was only one car in the customers' parking lot, and no customers in the waiting area. The very kind front desk assistant called a Dr and asked if he/she wanted to take us and proceeded to ask what was going on with my cat? Once I explained, we were told that they go by appointment only and that I should go to a urgent care rather. The very kind staffer recommended a few places and I really appreciated her help. Thank you... In my opinion, the Vets/owners only care for easy money and do not care for pets as they strategically advertised ("Every client, every pet, every time"). I bet that if they had my information, I would be constantly harassed for my business with their beautiful happy pet fliers and emails. Save your money on advertising and really care for animals and customers as you claim. Word of mount is wayyyyy more effective on good/bad reputation. I will NEVER come to this business that only seeks easy $$$.
