I have been looking for a new vet and decided to give St Frances a try. Not a fancy place at all, and their reasonable prices reflect that, so don't go there if that's what you're looking for but their care and compassion is outstanding! Wouldn't trust my Boston Terrier puppy to anyone else.

Made 2pm appointment. They called to confirm the next day and said 230. I asked if the were sure and she said yes 230. I showed up at 230 and they would not take my dog in. Mistakes happen but when you are asked to double check and they repeat the mistake that is a major concern. the vet in this place is very old and not reliable. Maybe it is time for her to retire. She did not even bother saying she was sorry. They also charge above standard rates. I'm just waiting for her to charge me a missed appointment fee so I can take her *as to court.

The caring people at St Francis have helped me through the care and demise of two of my dogs. It's very evident how much they care. My Two remaining dogs will remain under their care.

I brought an injured songbird to them for rehab. I was really impressed with how they handled the situation. I wish I could get an update on that bird. I have been trying to call them. They are not answering or calling me back. But im confident they are taking care of him.

I started going to this vet when I got my pitbull puppy, and I was very nervous about the stereotypes and them mistreating my baby. But the vet has pits!! And the staff and everyone just welcomed him with open arms and have given him the best care ever since!! Highly recommend.

A huge shout out to Dr. Marilyn and Julie! They were caring and generous when i brought in a lost pet for evaluation. This was during this whole virus/social distancing period. They cared enough to take us in. They used virus protection cover up and wiped everything appropriately in front and behind us. All for a little lost pet. i am and will be eternally thankful for the genuine kindness and generosity they showed us that day.

I had an injured woodpecker so we called and they said check the DNR website for a place to take it. So I checked and they are on the list of DNR licensed animal hospitals so we took the woodpecker there and they were closed an hour and a half before they were supposed to be. The next place on the list was much further and when I finally got there this poor woodpecker died. Thanks a lot. If you were doing your jobs instead of going home early this bird may have had a chance.

I have been going here for over 20 years with each one of my dogs. Dr. Marilyn and staff are the best and are very efficient. They are willing to try different methods for your pet's health as long as it isn't suffering.

I brought in an injured young opossum that I've been feeding outside for a couple months. They took him with confidence and kindness and I felt at ease leaving him in their care. I appreciate a place like this that's willing to help wildlife so graciously.

I was sent here by Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society for my newly adopted kitty's last shots (they are the animal hospital MAC uses in Macomb). When I left with kitty, they didn't update the shot record in my MAC folder so when my primary vet needed the records, I called St. Francis on a Wednesday to have them faxed over. It was 4:15 p.m. and the lady who answers the phone said they were "closed" (internet listing says they close at 4:30) and I would have to call back on Friday (they're closed Thursdays) and make the request again. Ok...not sure why they couldn't just put it on their "to do" list. I called back Friday morning and she said she would fax them. Two days later my vet says they didn't get them so I called the St. Francis lady again. She YELLED at me saying "I FAXED THEM!" I said, well my vet is saying they didn't get them....she interrupts and says "I FAXED THEM TWICE, ON FRIDAY AND TODAY". Previously she told me on Friday "they didn't go through". But at that point I was feeling scared to ask anything more and kind of humiliatied for something that was not my fault at all so I just said I'd have my vet call them if they couldn't "find" the records. This lady has a serious temperment issue and it makes me think they don't care too much about pets or customers, especially MAC customers.

This place was amazing. I found a wild bird in my front yard with what appeared to be two broken legs. I called several rehabilitation centers and organizations but no one could help me! I found this vet office listed under a Michigan wildlife rehabilitators website and they were more then happy to take him in. I was greeted at the front by one of the doctors (I believe her name was Marylin) and she was extremely sweet and wasted no time taking him and looking him over. I could tell that she was very knowledgeable by the way she was handling him and had the animals best interests in mind. I’m not sure what the outcome ended up being but I felt so much better knowing he wasn’t going to pass away suffering. I also found it amazing that she was able to use her experience and knowledge to not only help domestic pets but also wild injured birds. I would definitely take one of my own animals here!

At work we found a very injured rabbit and they were the only place that would take it and not just put it down. Super nice and very willing to help a wild baby rabbit. My coworkers and I can not be more greatful to the staff at St. Francis
