Disappointed in this group. I reached out about a dog that was found and whoever it was asked for pics and then i got nothing back. Thank you so much for your help now the person has just let the dog free and it's now running the streets.

This month will be our 6th Adoption Anniversary for our Jack a giant of a German Shepherd that had been to several different homes and abused. He was 3 and wasn’t my first choice b/c the dog I wanted was adopted while I was going through the paperwork with this volunteer ran organization that has to work other jobs as well as run this organization. These people are fosters and will you find their physical building, no b/c it is run out of their homes. I’m glad I didn’t get the other dog, I got the dog that needed me and who I needed. Do they do what the Humane Society does that has funding, no…they don’t have that funding but they rescue animals and foster them and work hard to find them good homes. Is there a fee? Yes, it costs to foster animals! They do have to be fed, housed, visit the vet and everything else that goes with housing a pet! Please do you’re own research besides reading a few reviews. Jack is an amazing dog and I’m so grateful to have him in my life!

please do your self a favor and avoid going though this people for adoption. they dont spay / neuter their dogs, adoption is over 500 regardless. when the humane society does spay/neuter and adoptions fees are way less. also they do not train the dogs they foster

Foster based rescue with very devoted volunteers.

This place doesn't exist. My GPS, instead of taking me home, led me to Merrimen and Plymouth rd in Livonia, MI. The map said Last Day Dog Rescue, but put the location at a Citizen's Bank parking lot. No dog rescue. I checked Plymouth and Middlebelt too. Nothing. Also weird that they have no address or phone number on their website. (Only P.O. Box) something is fishy.

I had a wonderful experience with this place. I’ve had my fur baby for 6 years now and she’s the center of our universe. Foster parents were amazing and responsive and it’s so refreshing to see how thorough this place is in making sure the animals are well taken Care of and are placed in good homes.

Sent in an application and received an email back. Did not receive any notification after that when the dog was adopted. Email prior said they would keep me updated only to find out the dogbwas adopted and I was still waiting to see if my application was even being considered. It was like they just skipped over my application.

Our rescue dog is now 7 years old and we’re so grateful and impressed with Last Day Dog Rescue. They care very deeply that the adoptive family is ready to have one of their animals. They had someone come to our house and interview my husband and I and inspect our home and yard to ensure that we’d take care of our new dog. Thank you for doing so much good! ????

We tried to adopt a dog from here and we sent an application. we recievied an confirmation that it was recived, after 8 days we sent a second email Unfortunately it was never responded too.we then went to there webslite to get there email to try to contact them again,only to see that the dog we were trying to adopt had already been adopted to somebody else.this would not have been too bad.if we had at least gotten an email telling us we did not get an adoption but instead we instead we wait for days, hopeing to get an email from them only to go to there website and see that the dog we were hopeing for was adopted to somebody else.
