Best professional groomer in the whole area, moved from Arizona back to Michigan and wouldn’t trade Furs A Flyin For anything! I had a great groomer in Arizona, and Dina is equal to all services I had in Arizona! The staff and Groomers are very pleasant and caring! I would recommend Furs A Flying to anyone that needs a great grooming experience!

We have gotten our little guy done there twice in 2020. He is an older dog. Both times it was a good experience & reasonably priced. They are not too far away from us. We still have not found our favorite groomer though. Our dog seems to do well from what we have been told.

Super friendly and accomodating. Genuine dog lovers. Very adept at their job. Reasonably priced. Worst thing is that they close a little early and its hard for 9 to 5 ers to get there. They are open Saturday mornings though.

Excellent service. Dina is amazing. Very gentle and caring. Penny and Poppy love her.

Just spoke to Dina and Shannon. They stated that they couldn’t take any “big dogs””. I asked what a big dog was & she stated “over 40 lbs”!!!! They sounded too busy to care about the business. My dog weighs 35 lbs!!! I am shocked that people in business would react in such a manner.

I just read a review stating that employees at Furs a Flying don't wear mask. Maybe they should start due to my appointment has been canceled for the 2nd time due to covid. I used to be a client and bring my dog here for 11 years until he passed away. I now have a new dog and have been only able to get her hair cut once due to covid. I understand things happen, but they don't even try to accommodate you. I've been waiting since September from a cancelation 1st appointment December and now the December appointment has been canceled. I liked her cut when we came, however not sure if I will be back. Their prices have gone up tremendously and when they cancel it's months to get back in.

We’ve been going here a little over 8 years. It’s like visiting family. Dina, Shannon & staff are the best. Nellie loves it and is always ready to “go get a haircut.”

I have been a customer of Furs-A-Flyin for 10 years. I moved from Livonia to Farmington Hills 2 yrs ago and I will continue to make the drive because they are worth it. My dogs are my furry kids and I trust everyone there with them! Michelle and Dina are the kindest and most knowledgeable people I know about grooming dogs and their care. My girls always smell so good and their coats are so shiney! It is an extremely clean business and smells so good while entering. This is the place to have your dog groomed!!!! Love them!

They do a great job.

My dog looks and smells pretty good, but the staff doesn't communicate very well with humans. We brought our dog in for her very first visit today and was not told that some of her medical records needed to be brought in (luckily we had them with us), no one called to let us know our dog was ready to be picked up when done (I had to call), and no one told us they accept cash and check payments ONLY. Not until after I called myself to see if she was ready and then arrived was I told about the cash/check only policy. I had to leave, go to the bank, and come back, as I did not come prepared with cash. If the customer communication had been there, Furs-A-Flyin would probably be our dog's new groomer. However, because of these preventable, and frankly stupid errors, we are on to the next one.

I highly recommend Furs-A-Flyin, make sure you make an appointment ahead of time because they do book up really fast (they're that good). I used to take my dog to Petsmart and after a few horrible issues we had with them we switched to Furs-A-Flyin and wow what a difference!!! My dog is treated very well and he actually likes going to get a bath now!! Ask for Dena, shes great with the dogs and does a fantastic job.

Extremely rude and obnoxious person answering the phone. Even if they have good reviews who wants to deal with that kind of service. If they are that rude and obnoxious while answering the phone, wonder what they are like with my spoo, forget that, I'll find another place that's nice to me and my pet.

This is the best place for dog grooming We recently rescued a dog who has anxiety issues. The owners, Dina and Michelle, encourages owners to bring in their dogs to socialize and get used to the sights and sounds. Jess did a great job with Xander who still has trust issues. I highly recommend!

I have a 4 year old labradoodle and a 3 year old labradoodle and I have been struggling to find a good groomer for them. We have been to about 5 different groomers in the Ann Arbor area and have not been happy with any of them. A friend of mine told us how happy she was with Furs-A-Flying so we decided to give it a go. BEST DECISION EVER. My dogs looked wonderful when we picked them up, the cut was exactly what we asked for and the best part, the DOGS WERE HAPPY! They didn't seem scared or anything, the pups just acted like they had a great day at daycare. My only complaint would be that they don't take cards, if they took cards this would be the perfect grooming place!

I have been bringing my fur babies to Furs A Flying for 15 years & have had nothing but beautiful results! When I pick my babies up they strut their stuff for the rest of the day knowing they look good.

Dina has been taking care of our family's dogs for over 20 years. She is absolutely amazing, especially with my nervous little boy. I wouldn't trust my babies with anyone else. They always come home looking and smelling wonderful and with big happy smiles on their faces

More like tempers-a-flying. I think some of the gals here are burned out. How else can you explain such nastiness. Dina thought my senior dog was a puppy (What the!?) and wanted to lecture me on getting him neutered. She also encouraged me to "...roll him over and pin him down to show who's boss". Maybe that's (alpha-rolling) your thing, but I don't think it's the right approach to grooming a scared little mutt. In doggy years, my little buddy is a tiny old man that weighs 7 pounds wet. Don't let them fool you, everything is not as they would like you to think it is here. Turned out to be a nightmare for me, can't imagine what my poor dog may have gone through. There is a groomer on every corner; I can't understand how, or why, these people think it's okay to be so rude and obnoxious.

I had my first visit today and they did a phenomenal job! No wonder there is such a long wait list! Even when I called to make the appt, the owner was so friendly and helpful! I have had a difficult time finding a place I liked since moving this area, and have not had great experiences at the other places I visited. This is the best my dog has looked! The staff was also super friendly and it was very clean and did not have that dog smell. I also love that they do not keep the dogs in cages. I will definitely be back!

Love love love. Pretty sure my dog feels the same????. This place is great and super busy. You can see dogs just roaming around before and after they have been beautified. It is much more relaxing for the dogs to NOT be caged. They will cage a dog that will not play nice with others. The dog hair cuts that I get to see when I pick up my doberman are amazing! The staff are friendly and very talented. They are a little more expensive but it's never just a bath. My dobe gets an oatmeal bath plus another bath and she is hand brushed. She looks clean and her coat looks and feels great. They also do not cut the nails, they dremel them. The dog is not afraid you will cut the quick. Before you try it yourself, the dremel gets hot on the nail. This will hurt your animals. Practice on something else first, like your hubby???? I drive from South Lyon to Livonia just for this place. I have a dog grooming place 5 mins from my home. You can tell furs-a-flyin staff actually like animals. Keep up the great work. My dog says woof woof. She said you guys would know what that means ????

GREAT! 10/10 BEST PLACE EVER! treats them like family and even let's them roam around most of the time (if good with other dogs) it may take a while but it's worth it bc of the great job they do!
