Wonderful place run by lovely people

Allen Animal Hospital has always given our dogs excellent and compassionate care. I trust Dr Wroblewski to do a thorough exam, recommend testing as necessary, and then to explain appropriate treatment options. She has also been available to discuss behavioral questions. This vet practice is not in my immediate home area, but is well worth the drive to get the excellent care my dogs deserve.

Allen Animal is the best veterinary in the area. All the staff is friendly, professional and responsive.

We have taken our various pets to Allen Animal Hospital for nearly 28 years! ????‍????????????I wouldn’t trust anyone else. The staff is wonderful (Karen, Sherri, and Mallory at the front desk, and all of the vet techs), and the doctors are knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. MANY thanks to Dr. Wroblewski and Dr. Boland!

They have been our go to vet for years. When we had to put our beloved Roxy down they went out if thier way to make her, and us comfortable. We now bring our new puppy here. Thank you.

Incredibly rude receptionists who dont use their ears and will hang up on you instead of transferring you to someone helpful. Literally should lose their jobs for not doing the one thing they are supposed to: recieve the calls.

I have raised, bred, trained, trialed/exhibited/titled White Shepherds since 1980. I have had lots of veterinary care for my pet family throughout the decades. And, when I find a treasure for vet care, I cherish it. The entire staff at Allen Animal Hospital is so helpful, friendly, professional and caring. They are my treasure! In these Covid times, pet care has suffered in so many areas (especially after-hour emergency situations), however, I can thankfully say, when it comes to daytime care, I truly feel my dogs are in the best hands. Our long time vet! Great care provided for our dogs.

We just put our dog down on 3/20. She was an 14 year old lab and we were told that she was going to be picked up by the cremation company the day that she was put down after my parents left. Come to find out that our dog was left in their freezer for four days and didn’t get picked up until 3/23. We kept calling them and they were saying that she wasn’t back yet from cremation. Turns out that she was just completely forgotten about and left in the freezer for all of that time when we were told we would have her back on 3/22. We are absolutely disgusted that this happened to a member of our family. We will never set foot back into this animal hospital again.

The staff and doctors treat you like family, they fit us in even when they are swamped, and they work with you on payments

Caring, intelligent vets and staff. Nice, clean facility. Will refer pets to specialists if needed. No overnight observation is only drawback.

Very friendly staff with attention to detail.

After the mis diagnosis from another veterinarian clinic which caused the passing of one of our beloved dogs, it’s been a very difficult to put trust back into someone. Allen animal hospital, used to care for our family dog many , many years ago. Our Chihuahua, who hasn’t been feeling well, we decided to give this animal hospital a try. Here is what I can tell you, in over the 40 years of owning several different animals, I have never been to a veterinarian/animal hospital that showed the caring and attention that Allen animal Hospital showed us. They were extremely busy, due to many people being off work for the holiday, and the doctor herself who is also one of the owners, spent almost an hour with us compared to the five minutes at most that I used to get with the other veterinarians at the other clinics that I would go to. Coming from someone who was looking for that caring veterinarian clinic, I can tell you hands-down this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had, ever. Thank you everyone.

All the staff care for my dogs just like I do, they are always friendly on phone and in person.

My wife and I have been going here for many years and they seem to lose what's important the animals. Over the past years this place have been changing to the not so good level. They are hard to get in for appointments and when you ask for calls from the vet it takes a bit. Before covid-19 we would be talking about what to do with our pet and a knock on the door and tech will tell the vet you have a call and the vet takes the call and come back and continue were we left off at. We have food that is auto shipped by chewy and it requires that the pet has to be seen and chewy called the office and our pet has a appointment on record and couldn't get them at a reasonable time and the office wouldn't authorize chewy to be able to ship even thou a appointment is on record. This keeps up I'm going to a different vet that said they would fill order with chewy as long as they have a appointment on record. Allen you need to do better by the costumer!!!

this review is more for the so-called “rescue,” Wags and Whiskers that is run out of this vet than the vet itself. This vet’s office runs the rescue, yet refuses to respond to their potential adopters despite being given multiple contact points. I am disgusted to see this unprofessional behavior in a place that is supposed to be committed to helping animals. I wish I could give 0 stars for how awful these people are at communication and how little of a presence they have online. I have reached out to many other rescues and people in the rescue community who have never even heard of this “rescue” before, so I am deeply questioning this status as a rescue and Les Ann Payne and Karen Wroblewski who run it.
