The doctors and staff here are always pleasant, professional and accommodating. Their primary goal is the good health of my dog Gracie. Great with answering any questions or addressing any concerns.

They took great care of my senior dog

I loved this place when I took my previous dog who died 5 years ago. I went back now with my new puppy and the staff is less than helpful and rude. They misspelled my dog's name so the pet's insurance rejected the claim and when I called them so they could fix it. they were rude and unhelpful. I had to call 5 times and do all the leg work to fix their mistake. They just washed their hands.

My dog is elderly and has quite a few issues. Dr. Cory has been very compassionate which I appreciate. The staff is wonderful and I wouldn't go any other place with my animals.

The best vet ever. Even though I won't be going back because I am moving, they still took tge time to call me when I had questions about my puppy's vision. I wish they were in Delaware.

Dr. Corey Hoonhout is awesome! I’ve been taking my dog and cat to Donaldson Animal Hospital for routine vet care for a few years now. Recently, my 15 year-old cat became seriously ill. I thought I was going to have to put him down, but Dr. Corey kept him at the clinic for a few days, figured out exactly what was wrong, and treated him. He’s all better now, thankfully. Dr. Corey called me multiple times a day and kept me informed on how my cat was doing. Very thankful for the excellent care for my pets!

Been a client for twenty years and the staff continue to be a great and caring group.

I, like most people, found this place to be horrible. Simple questions about the appointment on the initial phone call were mocked by people in the background. We were never told what to bring on our first appointment, so when we didn't have paperwork they wanted from us, we were lectured about being more responsible. I then provided a phone number for our past vet, and then when I realized I gave the wrong phone number and provided the correct phone number, she rolled her eyes and shook her head at me. We professionally brought this to the vets attention, and the vet banned us from ever returning because he said we "weren't the right fit" for their clientele. In addition, we were charged double the original quote.

Dr. Rachel was rude wants to know what flavor cat food I bought for my cat when I get upset with her she tells me I don't need to be treated this way and leaves the room wouldn't recommend this vet

This was our vet 20 years ago and they took great care of our dog then. Decided to go here again for the new husky pup. Our vet, Dr. Rachel, is both knowledgeable and kind. She's willing to spend all the time necessary to both treat our dog and answer any/all of our questions. I do wish they had overnight and emergency services on site... if there is a vet emergency, after hours, they have a direct link on their voicemail to a 24hr. Emergency vet hospital.

The veterinarian was cordial and friendly, spent a good amount t of time explaining what was wrong and how to fix the dog's injury. Overall a good experience!

We had to put our black lab LOGAN to sleep after 14 years. These people Really cared and did everything possible to make it as easy as possible for us. They let us tie up one of their rooms for hours. The nurses were actually tearing up and the Doctor was Amazing he made LOGAN's passing so easy on him that when it was over I actually looked at the Doctor and said "That was Beautiful" If you love your animal there is no other place to take him.

Love the people here. Very caring of our pets. Dr. Corey very informational and gentle with the animals. The front desk ladies make us feel very welcome

They helped with what we needed. I'm pretty sure they are the most expensive vet clinic ever though. Rediculusly over priced for everything including the little things they hit you up with like litter. Collecting urine. collecting blood. And a charge to sedate your pet of course. And than there's the actual vet visit fee.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Hoonhout and the staff. We travel an hour to go see them because our family trusts that our animals are receiving the best care possible- if it's a simple routine checkup, emergency visit or surgery there is no doubt in our mind that our animals (who are family) are their number 1 priority. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring and passionate practice Donaldson Hospital is your spot!

I have been taking my dogs to Donaldson for the past two years and it was fine. Just average Vet. However, recently one of my dogs had medical emergency and called on Saturday morning to see if they can help me with this problem, but their simple answer was "No". They didn't even ask me what was wrong. They just didn't even care and told me that they were booked all day and call emergency service. My dogs are my children to me. They are my vet and they know about my dogs the most. I wish they could be more professional, but they just didn't want to work long hours on Saturday. Never going back and NOT RECOMMENDING TO ANYONE!

I have been going there for decades. Great place. My dogs feel very comfortable with the staff and doctor.
