I have been going to this Veterinary Clinic for over four years. Dr. Gage is always willing to answer all questions I have. Rose at the front desk is excellent! They always follow up on my pup. You won't find another office that is priced more fairly. I have been to two other vets in the area and spent well over $500 in ONE visit! This office has a hometown feel and Dr. Gage and her staff truly care about the wellness of your fur baby. J. Bartholme

Dr. Gage and the staff at Springfield vet clinic were very gentle and kind to my kitty. They took the time to listen and discuss my concerns about Jorgens health. They provided a doable plan to monitor and improve Jorgens health. An easy and convenient link was provided via email to order the prescription food online.

The fact that they asked me my budget for my visit and built the plan that got the most done for my dog with that money is reason enough for me to come back. On top of that the staff was so nice and calm when dealing with my scardy pants dog and did an excellent job explaining everything to me in an informative non condescending way. Will definitely be sending all my friends here.

If anybody knows Springfield veterinary it’s me I have to call every single day because I have problems with rescue pets that I own they never seem irritated that I have to call every day and they just calm me down, get me in as soon as they can and Dr. Gage is absolutely wonderful Rose takes good care of me and so does Jennifer the other girls are completely upbeat awesome they love all my pets I feel very comfortable being in the hands of professionals

They took care of my boy Louie for years. He started going there at 8 1/2 weeks old up until he was 13. They cried with me when he passed. Wonderful care. Thank you Dr Gage and team!

My elderly parents have an older dog that is blind and now having issues walking with no quality of life. One of my parents is in the hospital and I called springfield vet this morning to have the dog put down. The receptionist informed me that the dog would need a physical and the vet is booking two weeks out. When I asked why they did not have accommodations for dying dogs, she stated that I was making her feel bad. When I said I was dealing with a sick parent and a sick dog and getting no help, she hung up on me. I then tried to call back and my call went straight to voice-mail. Its terrible how people are so busy they can no longer be compassionate.

TERRIBLE PLACE!!!! We took our dog in for a “required” check up in order to get her prescription food. She suffered a panic attack on the way to the vet. We explained to the vet that she doesn’t handle car rides well. My dog was in REALLY bad distress. She couldn’t breath! They took her into the back. and left her there for at least 20 minutes before coming back into our room and telling us they don’t want to touch her because she’s having a hard time breathing due to her panic attack. They would NOT give her anything (shot) to calm her down or help with her breathing!!! They REFUSED to help her in any way! They handed us some pills (steroid) and charged us $72 for NOTHING and sent us on our way. We got home and TRIED to give her one of the pills. My dog (of course) would not take them because she couldn’t breathe and was gasping for air (same symptoms at the vet). We tried everything we could and our sweet dog Loki DIED!!! We watched her take her last breath. This was devastating to our family!! How can a vet do NOTHING to help our dog??? How could they let us leave with our dog in that condition??? If a human was suffering the same symptoms, a Doctor would have done something to help!!! Springfield Veterinary really dropped the ball on this and our poor dog suffered!!! Please don’t take your animal there! I work in the medical field and I can tell you now from experience that THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! SHAME ON THEM!!!

This is the best vet I have been too. The staff is great, they have a very useful app, and they don't over charge. My dogs never were really a fan of going to the doctors until we started coming here, now they love it. They take such good care of my fur babies. :)

All the staff at Springfield Vet are wonderful, they treat people good and your pets even better.

Five stars is not even enough for the staff at SVC. I only started bringing my dogs here a few months and they have welcomed us as family. I've had two pretty urgent situations where they did everything in their power and got us in. I will never go anywhere else. They are quick, kind, and the most reasonable priced vet around.

Dr. Gage and her staff always have taken great care of our dogs. Our current dog is 5 1/2 years and he has been taken good care of by this clinic. There are no cons that I can contribute. I highly recommend Springfield Veterinary Clinic.

We’ve recently started going to this office. When my dog was sick I was able to do the virtual and talked at length to figure out what was wrong. It was very comforting and helpful and she was fine in a short time. All staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions we have about our pets! Prices are comparable and we recommend!

Springfield Veterinary Clinic is awesome! Excellent communication including one-off questions I have had about my dogs. I take both my Husky/Lab and my Rott/Lab here and they both really enjoy their time in the office with the techs and Dr. Gage. My Huksy/Lab was very sick when we first moved to the area and Dr. Gage was able to see her ASAP and get the situation resolved. I am so grateful that this clinic is part of our community. Please use them for your vet needs!

We have been seeing Dr. Gage since she came to Springfield Vet. She always takes the time to answer any questions and not rushed. I remember the time we had to put our dog to sleep- Dr. Gage was with us the whole time explaining what she was doing and then giving my family all the time we needed to say goodbye. I will never forget that. The staff is always nice and they are willing to answer any questions I have had.

Simon just needed rabies shot, so fairly simple appointment. Technician remembered our last appointment asked how he was doing. I didn't have to wait long, so I was impressed she had all the background. Good, quick service.
