I cannot express how great VCA Texas corners has been for our dog. Our dog has epilepsy and Dr. Tom has made great strides in controlling his seizures and finding the right medications. We have lived in many places and Dr. Tom is the best vet we have ever had in professionalism, understanding, and compassion. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic! I'm a former vet tech and have worked in a shelter, small family practices, corporate practices, and big specialty hospitals. Having been on the other side, I've been pretty critical when looking for a vet for my own dogs when I moved to Michigan (especially with a dog with a chronic disease). Everyone I interacted with was kind, caring, and knowledgeable; front desk staff, assistants, techs, and vet. It's an incredible relief to find a veterinary office that I feel confident in. Very grateful!

This is the BEST vet clinic EVER. The staff is so friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a place to take your beloved pets, then definitely look no further than Texas Corners Animal Hospital.

We've taken all of our pets (cats and dogs) here for years and have had nothing but positive experiences with the entire staff. Not only are they knowledgeable and dependable, but they genuinely care for the patients.

We are first time dog owners. We called to get a first appt and to drop off a sample to be tested for worms. When I went to drop off the sample, I was walking into the building and 5 people yelled at me that nobody was allowed in the building. Someone ran to the door, asked me the dogs name, took the bag, and walked away. I was told to drop off the sample and nobody told us on the phone nor on the door that we weren't allowed to come into the building. I feel disrespected, devalued, and unwanted. Why would I want anyone to care for my dog, if that's how they treated me? I understand that we are living in strange times with Covid-19 and precautions need to be taken. Just communicate these precautions ahead of time and certainly don't treat others like you treated me. This made me feel very uncomfortable and we will absolutely be taking our dog elsewhere.

TL/DR - Amazing place. Highly recommended. This place is amazing. We have had a lot of issues with terrible/careless Vets in the past, so it was refreshing to find a place this great. The Vet and the Technicians were all very friendly and informative. They explained everything in detail and gave us all the options for care before doing anything. They also followed up on another Vet's mistake and corrected it. We will go here from now on for all our pets.

They took great care of my cat, who had to go through a fairly traumatic surgery. They gave me a lot of information, kept me updated throughout the surgery, and sent me off afterwards with everything I needed to know - both to help with healing, and what potential issues to look out for. I've been to many veterinary clinics over the years and am definitely most impressed with VCA Texas Corners Animal Hospital.

I took my Roxy for her final farewell. I thought the staff and vet was very compassionate. They even sent us a sympathy card which really touched my heart. I really like this place and would recommend them (I also took her there last March and they were just as great)

Absolutely recommend! I wish I would have switched vets a long time ago. These people car and they don’t judge the breed. The way Dr.Brett talked to my dog before even saying hi to me was so awesome!!! I will definitely be driving 50mins for great quality care! Thank you Texas Corners Vet!

They are so rude over the phone and deny any new client. I called to ask a simple question about my kitten and they let me tell my whole story and then they say “are you a client here?” and i said not yet and they go “um, we’re not taking any more clients, bye” and hung up. Literally the rudest customer service I’ve ever dealt with.

They have a love for animals and it shows. This is the first vet I have been to that are very comfortable around pitbulls. If your pet is scared they will take the time to let your pet calm down and get to know them.

Not my animal but, my neighbor's little Frenchie that had teeth pulled and sent him home with without keeping him over night LIKE MOST VETS DO and NO ANTIBIOTICS. I am so glad that PET VET IS AWESOME AND THEY ARE MOST CARING VETS I KNOW AND THEY DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOUR PET. Anyone asks me I will tell them I would rather do it myself. My friend is worried about her fur baby and I don't blame her. Stop with all the excuses of why you did what you did and what you did to this loveable baby.

I took my Frenchie in for a dental, which turned out to be quite extensive, therefore time consuming, therefore he wasn't finished until much later in the day than expected. Due to that, he was still very out of it when I picked him up, and I had to ask my neighbor to carry him inside for me - I had back surgery recently and couldn't carry him up the steps to get him inside. I was initially quite concerned about his state of consciousness, but by 8:00 he was able to walk, so I gave him his pain med - it did hit him a little hard, and I had to go back to watching him closely, but again by midnight he was fine. They did not keep him overnight because their facility isn't set up for that. He would have been alone, so he was actually safer and much more comfortable being at home with me, where he could get constant 1:1 supervision. He was in some discomfort for the first day post-op and part of the next day, but is doing fine now, already wanting a chew bone! I am very emotionally involved with my dogs, as most owners are, and I was fairly hysterical when I first saw how sedated Jake was when I picked him up. I admit and own that I over-reacted and let my emotions block my rational thought process. Bottom line, Jake is fine, and acts totally normal two days post-op. And about the antibiotics - in the past, I've always been given prophylactic antibiotics after that kind of procedure. I have found out that the American Veterinary Dental Association has changed their guidelines and no longer recommends prescribing them as a matter of course, but leaves it to the Vet to decide. He had no existing infection, so he did not get sent home with antibiotics. I hope I have been able to clarify his results, and actually when all is said & done, they got a horrific situation completed with great results, so it's all good...Thank you for doing a good job on a very difficult mouthful of teeth, and Thank my neighbors for their help when I needed it. Their hearts are in the right place, and the primary concern was the well being of "son", Jake.
