Unfortunately the web site lead me to a new patient set up which worked well. However, after submission the response was that no new patients were being excepted. Need to update the web site for accurate info.

I have been taking my 10 year old pitbull mix, Pili, here for over a year. She is very scared of being at the vet and other dogs(lots of barking and doesnt like being held down) but every employee here are SO patient and kind to her and us! They accomodate us with ensuring there are no other dogs in the halls before we bring her in and take her out and never make us feel bad for her barking. We will forever take our pets here!!

This clinic is excellent.... Just moved in the area, had an emergency and they went way out of their way to help me before I had to leave town. I spoke to a number of clinics and they were the only one that even took the time to see if they could help me rather than just saying no. They also treated my dog as if he was their own.

I have been coming here for many many years, my father and grandmother brought their animals here also. They're always nice, explain what they think your animal needs and what can wait and they have no issues explaining anything (including prices) and they're very reasonably priced!

Great place. There are closer vets, but the trip is worth it.

I can’t say enough positive things about this vet office. We have a very anxious cat and dog, but the staff here always make it a stress free visit. The waiting times are short and the services are performed quickly and efficiently. The staff is very caring and informative. I know my pets are in great hands and we will continue to bring them here for years to come.

Not taking new patients !

They came to the house to put my elderly cats to sleep when my girls had endured more than enough of their illnesses ... of which they vets were perfectly honest with me about and never gave false hope. My girls both lived quality lives longer than expected, and I prefer that than being led down down a rose colored path and watching them suffer longer than necessary.

If I could leave this post with 0 stars I would. First off I had an appointment for my cat & they end up calling the appointment off due to an emergency & they claim that we did a “no call no show” & want to charge us $40. WORST PLACE EVER. They just want your money they could care less about your pets Heath. When I had another appointment for my dog I ended up having covid so the last thing on my mind was to call them. I was more worried about my safety. Guess what, they still want to charge me another $40 for that. You best believe you will never have my business again. I will find a different vet who actually cares about animals.

Nola loves going there! She gets so excited to see all the staff. They take such great care of her. Dr. Withers is the best!

Great folks with wonderfully caring advice. Mr Kitty, the office cat, greets us each visit. Prices are reasonable and they've always been right on time with us - if not early.

This place is excellent. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make me and my puppy feel welcome. It’s obvious that they truly care about animals and take time to make you feel like a valued patron.

We love Eighth Street Vet Care! They took great care of our aging dog when we discovered she was diabetic. They were conservative with their initial treatment plan, which was exactly what she needed, and they didn't try to "oversell" us on any extras. They were sensitive to our needs and genuinely seemed to love our dogs as much as we do!

Dr. Withers and his staff are fantastic. Easy to get an appointment, friendly cat to greet you and they don't push you to buy unnecessary procedures or supplies. Dr. Withers was compassionate and kind when our Duke had to leave us last fall. Although we moved to Grand Rapids, we continue to bring our 10 year old Abyssinians to see our favorite doctor.

I have been taking my dog there for 8 years. I asked for a flea and heartworm prescription for my dog. They stated that dueto policy I would need to come in. I explained that I am at DeVos Childrens hospital with no way to pick up the prescription for several weeks. She said she would be happy to mail the pills to me at twice the cost of Chewy/Costco. When making a few extra bucks and "policy" are more important than animal Care it's time to say good bye. Oh well care has gone down and price has gone up since the sweet lady vet left the office.

8th street has been my Fur baby Doctors office since he was 8wks he’s 19wks now! Prices is a little high, but the service is Highly favor.! And it’s Never a long wait they move quickly. I’m giving it a 4 star only because the prices is a little much. Drop these prices and it has a 5 star from me

I was nervous to schedule this appointment, given I had no experience with any vets in the area, but I’m happy I chose them! They were extremely nice and attentive to my concerns. They were on time with starting my appointment and my dog was ready when it was time to pick her up! They gave helpful recommendations & made my dog (who has really bad separation anxiety) comfortable, and for that I’m thankful. They’re wonderful! Highly recommend

Took really good care of my Lady(cat). Very loving and caring for my pet. Love this place!
