They are always very nice. They have sevral vets on staff. A bit pricey.

We love our vet. Every visit has been pleasant, they do so well with our puppy. They explain everything comprehensively and figure out the nuiances of caring for each pet individually. We are excited for when we can actually go in and meet the doctors and assistants and techs that do so well with our Noelle!

Highly recommend! They have been amazing with our dogs!

This place is great! We moved here from out of state and they have been nothing but helpful to our pets and us. Highly recommend. (Had my dog neutered, vaccinated, and other dog a wellness check and fecal test) My dog Major loves it there even after they took his balls and Boötes is no longer afraid of the vet for the first time ever. Thank you for your awesome service!

Very nice and knowledgeable vet

I love Dr.Jelsema, haven't met the vet that saw my 3 dogs last week. It's not their fault but I felt very disconnected, not being able to go in with my dogs. Definitely wanted to be with them. I hope it gets back to normal soon.

We brought our dog there and after spending $1,000 he got worse and died. They sent him home the day he passed saying he was in good shape even though he was in serious pain, not eating or drinking.

Absolutely recommend this Veterinary. They were so patient with my dog, answered all my questions and concerns and most importantly was honest with my dogs visit. Thank you again for explaining everything and sending us home with medication to ease my dogs pain.

I picked up a medication at Jelsema Vet. The charge was nearly $75. I love my dog and I am happy to get her what she needs, but when I researched the medicine later, I found it is also available at the Walmart pharmacy for $15. Same pet med, same dose, same number of pills. Vets can call in prescriptions and I wasn’t even offered this option to save $60. This led me to check on another med she was given. I found I was charged double what I could have gotten it for at another business on my own. Be aware that you can ask for prescriptions to be called in for animals. Save big $$. The vet bills are high enough without adding unnecessary costs.

I'm sure other veterinarians have great service, but I know that this one does. They always spoil my dog while giving her an exam or treating her. Like I said, I'm sure that there are other great places, but Jelsema had given us no reason to consider looking for an alternative.

Over 1 month of trying to make our elderly cat better -Dr. Jelsma and his entire staff were wonderful. They went way above and beyond what I have ever experienced. When the time came to end her suffering Dr. Jelsma was honest ,caring, and helped me through - as did every member of his staff. Jan Schimke

Amazing experience! They took very good care of my baby, Luna. I was nervous about getting her spayed because I don't like to be apart from her. But they were fantastic during the process and calmed me down. Luna and I thank you for being amazing! Thank you so much for taking great care of my baby!

Always friendly staff. The phone app is great for keeping on top of vaccines, appointments, meds, etc. Currently, they have a great setup for dealing with COVID related concerns.

Dr Jelsema and the friendly staff at Jelsema Vet clinic are AMAZING! I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else in Hudsonville/ West Michigan to take care of my fur baby. They are not pushy, and are extremely understanding and accommodating. The doctors and staff would not just push meds/vaccines/etc, if they did not see it fit for your animal(s). They are doctors who know your animal’s health, and are looking out for your fur baby’s best interest. I can’t say enough great things about the doctors and staff. I appreciate them going above and beyond for not only my animal, but myself, as well. If you’re looking for the best Veterinarian and staff around, look no further. Jelsema Vet Clinic is 10/10!
