Never again. I will cancel my travel plans before using them again. Overpriced. My 2 Huskies were there 48 hours and the fees totaled $390. There was even a charge to FEED my dogs while boarding. Unacceptable!!

I brought my two dogs in for daycare while I went to my Uncal’s funeral. After having to leave early so I could pick my dogs up by six I hit traffic and arrived at 6:05. I sent the text message to be let in and didn’t receive a response and no one was answering the phone. I tried calling the text number and finally got ahold of someone who told me I could not have my dogs. I tried explaining how I came from a funeral and was only five minutes late but they didn’t care and would not let me have my dogs. I can not understand how someone could be so heartless and refuse to give someone their dogs back for being 5 minutes late. I was already grieving the loss of a family member and now I couldn’t even turn to me dogs for comfort. I will never return here and will make sure to let everyone know about the horrible treatment I received from the place.

I had some charges I was not aware of when I picked my dog up and ended up paying double what I expected. I spoke with the manager who then alerted the owner and she called and spoke with me. She was very professional and polite and let me know they updated their confirmation email to include the nightly lodging fee that I was not aware of, and they will now have customers initial when they drop their dogs off so that there are no surprise charges. I will board with them again in the future. I have no doubt they take good care of our loved ones here and I appreciated the follow up when they found out I was upset.

When I spoke with Wendy, she went over the luxurious amenities they would offer my puppy. Upon arrival, I did bring my puppy to the front door, which was the wrong entrance. There was a black cat that attacked my puppy, causing her to yelp. I found the correct entrance and was greeted outside the door. They required me to remove her collar and harness, which I understand is their policy but it would have been nice to have it "checked" for when I picked her up... because I did take a different car and ended up leaving her collar behind. I also wasn't able to leave her with a small baby blanket and her fav plush toy, which would have given her a sense of home. My puppy was there for 2 nights. A text or email update would have been a nice touch. I paid extra for puppy play time. I asked 2 different times what her play sessions would look like and it was very brief "she will get 2 separate play sessions a day." Okay but for how long... around what times? Are staff members also engaging with the group dog play? When we picked Penny up and brought her home, I was hoping she would be sleepy and content from playing so hard. She was a big ball of crazy energy. And not just -- excited to be home energy. She gets nippy and jumpy if she doesn't get exercise and she was an absolute menace. Makes me wonder how much crate time she actually had... but I'll never know. We paid a pretty penny for this experience and I feel like it was overpriced. They have a nice setup but need to focus more on the comfort of the fur parents too.

Disappointed to see this place hasn’t changed. Playtimes are not the amount of minutes you are charged for. Some staff truly do care about animals, but when there are over 50-100 dogs, that care gets stretched thin or burnt out. The most basic package is keeping your dogs in a crate, no play times, only food, water, and the sound of 100 other dogs being kept in the same condition. Cats left alone, no time to walk out of their cage. The owner is proud to be the cheapest boarding facility in the area that had air conditioning, emphasis on the cheap. Don’t be tricked into the sales packages and add ons, special events, or even the doggy day care... no one should have to pay money to have their pets treated like this.

Amazing staff and great facility! Everyone is so friendly and the property is well maintained. They really care about your pet and make sure they have a great time when they are at daycare. Our dog absolutely loves to go to the Pet-ritz for doggie daycare. Worth every penny!! Our dog comes home happy and worn out from playing all day!

We left our dog with Pet Ritz for two nights while we were getting married and you can tell that she had a blast! They were always easy to work with and provided great value.

The past few times this place has been good but since our beagle bo gains weight really easily we don’t give treats. We told them not to give him treats and they said that they wouldn’t we came back from vacation they charged us for treats and my dog gained back all of the weight he lost now my dog is overweight and has to loose the weight all over again. Plus somehow they managed to break a lid of an oxo container that’s just dumb thanks pet ritz.....

Pet Ritz has been doing Doggie Daycare for Sarge for a year now, they are so fantastic with him and I love the monthly events they have that they contribute to a local non profit, they care and give back! This month in November the month of Gratitude, they are donating to Toys for Tots❤️

Wonderful place for our high needs German Shepherd. Very happy to have found this establishment. We don’t have to worry when we go out of state, we know she is being taken care of.

I’ve been taking several generations of pooches to Pet Ritz (since 2005) and keep coming back for a reason. It is a little pricier than other places, but if my dogs like the place and they come back home safe (and well groomed) then it is worth it.

We have a spoiled bloodhound that loves to go to her 2nd home Pet Ritz. . .she loves the crew and her fellow pooches to play with. She loves the extra attention the staff provides and loves to play with her special friend Dexter. Thank you Pet Ritz for being such a GREAT place for our little princess. Kimber & John Gerlich

I boarded my pet for the first time ever and I have a bad taste with boarding because of Pet Ritz. I had a great experience up until it was time for me to pick up my pet. My family was out of town for a wedding and the day we came home, the U.P. was blasted with a blizzard of 8-12 inches. We left at 4 in the morning to ensure we could get home for my pets pick up time.. what would normally take us 8 hours to get home took us just over 12 hours. I called the facility letting them know I was going to be 20 minutes late TOPS, and they REFUSED to release my pet to me as "no one could stay slightly over". I also spoke to the manager, Amber, to see if there was anything that could be done and I even offered to pay for an extra night for the 20 minute delay... which they refused as well. What had already been an extremely stressful day, my day was made even more stressful thinking I could not pick up my pet and get him readjusted back home after being away for 4 days. There was no remorse for our long drive and no understanding. The worst part is that they told me they have employees there after their office hours, but they were not authorized to release my pet to me. I would understand following policy if I was going to be an hour late, but I would've only been 10 minutes late come to find out and there was no wiggle from them. I will be sure to tell anyone who asks me where to board their pets to not come here as they clearly do not care for the pets best interest and well being. At the end of the day, they only cared about getting out of the office on time.

This is the best place to have your dog stay while you are on vaca! They have room to play, a staff that knows them, and can even get email updates with pictures. They are fastidious about making sure all pets are vaccinated to limit any risks. I have never felt nervous or uncomfortable leaving our beloved pup in their hands. Worth every penny!

Definitely a lack of customer service during this "transition period". Our dog was boarded for 10 days. Too many people who were saying one thing but then to find out something entirely different upon check in. This has not been our first time boarding our dog here but unfortunately it will be the last. Also the unwillingness to issue a small refund amount due to the fact that all issues were caused by the staff at Pet-Ritz is just poor service. Take responsibility in your staff and take care of the paying customer. Very disappointed.

The Pet Ritz is the nicest place that I've ever boarded my dog. It is a little pricey, but well worth it to know that she'll be treated like a queen. The staff has always been super friendly and courteous and really go out of their way to please you and your pet.

My Great Dane was very happy but at 6 months old it cost over $600 for 12 days and I wasn't allowed to see him or show him to my close friends or family.(I live out of state and he was imported from Vienna). I was in town to assist caring for my Grandma on Hospice and when she passed I really wanted to see my dog, the staff kept telling me no it was forbidden but a manager would call and let me know if they would allow me to see him since my grandma had died. She never did and when I finally got a hold of her she said no. "There's no place for me to see him." He was very well taken care of, just left a bad taste in my mouth and there were added fees not discussed.
