Best groomer ever, thanks Jennifer. Overall Animal House services are fantastic.

We boarded our 13 year old Lab here for 8 days -- this was her first ever boarding experience so we were very anxious about it. The owner promised she would be treated with TLC because of her age and her inability to move around very quickly due to hip dysplasia. We asked and were promised that she would not be left alone with other dogs since she can't move quickly enough to defend herself against a more aggressive animal. When we picked her up, all seemed ok. When we got home and my husband was cleaning her ears, he noticed two quarter size sores in her right ear. They were raw and infected. Our vet told us that they were puncture wounds from being bitten! This happened while at Animal House - at home she is never out of our sight even when she's outside. It makes me sick to think of how this even happened - but more so that nobody said a word about it. There is NO WAY this happened without blood loss - yet her ear was cleaned up when we picked her up. Somebody saw this happen - we received no call, no information - nothing disclosed to us about 1) how she was bitten or 2) why she was left anywhere with other dogs when we clearly told them we didn't want her socializing with other animals -- and were promised this would not happen. We understand dogs will play and jump on each other -- but we were promised she would not be put into a situation that would even allow this. One positive - the groomer was great. Our dog was clean and looked beautiful when we picked her up. I'm guessing the bite happened after grooming because while trimming her ears - I would imagine the groomer would have seen these large sores, but we will never know....

I took my mom's dog to get bathed and cut! Nice people and my mom's dog knows them.

If this were just for the groomer, Jennifer, it would be five stars. She is truly wonderful and my dog never has issues staying with her. My dog always looks good, smells great, leaves with a pep in her step and a jaunty little scarf! Unfortunately, I just took my dog to a different groomer because I’m sick of trying to get ahold of them. I’ve never used the kennel. Three stars because actually calling is so inconvenient. You can only call at certain times. Your customers shouldn’t have to set up reminders on when calling your business works for you. Please take this as the constructive feedback it is and not personally.

I took my cat there at 10:30 on Monday to get groomed, upon arrival the unprofessional manager who made the appointment told me if my cat isn’t done by 12:00 he has to stay till 4:00!!! I called at noon he wasn’t done, the groomer said “it’s the managers rules!” I got there at 4:00, brought him home and something was off with him. He didn’t want his canned food, a treat-nothing. Well this went on till Friday morning I took him to the Emergency vet clinic and they said he was dehydrated. (Obviously from no fluids) Something happened when he was getting groomed...now he doesn’t leave my side!!!

One of the cheapest I could find and also biggest, so they have more availability. They also treat it like a hotel, so if you pick your pet up by 11am there's no charge for the day. My dog was happy, healthy, and clean when I picked him which is about all I ask from a kennel. The lady doing the transaction was a little unrefined. The place also looks rundown from the outside.

They always have availability when we need it. Prices seem to creep up steadily, also it's very hard to reach anyone via phone or get a call back. Office cats are very friendly!

I recently had my Newfie Cece groomed at Animal House Kennel and she looks gorgeous. The groomer Jennifer took the time to ask how much I wanted trimmed for each area of her body. Her paws are the best they've ever been, which is important because CeCe slides on our hardwood floor if her paws aren't trimmed well. When I picked CeCe up she was happy and clearly had been well treated. My husband and I say every day we can't believe how perfect she looks (CeCe is two) and how this is the best she's ever been groomed. Thank you Jennifer!

Wonderful place to take your fur babies. They always love and treat my pup as if he were their own. I would definitely recommend this kennel to anyone looking for a place that truly cares about every pets individual needs.

Great Place for your dog when you need to go out of town.

Unprofessional customer service staff, unfriendly and often complaining about customers and owner. Facility is rundown and dreary. My dogs can Home with kennel cough. They do not ask for vacination records as posted. Many stray cats roaming around who have contact with dogs that are brought in. Would not recommend.

Great place for the pets. Detail your bill before you pay... I picked up pet 1 day early but bill and charge was for full amount. NOT minus 1 day (early).

They are great with dogs

Brought my baby here on a holiday,weekend stay. My baby has severe seperation anxiety. I explained his problem and was told no problem. They suggested various things to,lessen his anxiety. When I picked up my baby, they enjoyed him and he was happy! The staff was very friendly, they explained the policy and he was comfortable with them. Reasonable price, clean. Definitely will return.

Very kind people! They are taking care of my cats after my apartment building was evacuated due to a fire I other apartments. I had no place to take them and had them staying in my car as the hotel would not allow them. Carrie at Animal House, generously opened an unused floor to shelter my cats until we can go back. I am beyond grateful for her kind heart and generosity!!!

Excellent pet care. Inexpensive grooming and boarding and they dont skimp on quality care.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. Animal House Kennel. I've been taking my cat there for a couple years now, and they always clean him up beautifully :)

We (along with our pooches of various ages) have been patrons of Animal House for more than a decade, for both grooming and occasional boarding. They have been wonderful, trusted pet care partners throughout this time, always so helpful, and looking out for the best interest of our furry family members...truly appreciate the peace of mind working with them brings us!

The worst kennel you could go to I dropped my dog off they called and said he hurt his leg because he slipped on there wet floor. they had to take him to the vet and charged me the bill also when I called the owner she was rude and hung up on me. Its should be called the Kennel from Hell. And they never said they were sorry.

Boarded my husky here and the staff was amazing! Very friendly and attentive and they even helped my husky to learn to play with other dogs.

Both of my dogs came home with fleas and kennel cough.

This place was okay... I like to use Royal Touch Pet Salon... they do a better job at cutting my dogs hair and are very professional.

We have boarded our cat, Mona, here several times when we have gone out of town. I have had her nails clipped while she was there and all was fine. I have found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. Several times, when I have called and left a message, someone has always returned the call. This is my standard, "go to" place for my kennel needs.

Do not even consider this kennel. The staff were distracted having a personal conversation when we dropped our dog off and breezed over our questions about care and drop off times. They neglected to tell us that you would be charged for an additional night if you chose the afternoon drop off time. When we picked our dog up we were charged as if we left her another night and they said that "the one lady always forgets to tell people that" and there was nothing they could do. I thought that was the most of our worries, but then we got our dog, her underside was yellow from dried urine and she smelled faintly like feces. They next day we discovered a number of fleas on her. At this kennel you are not able to see the quarters where they keep the dogs, but I can imagine it was a little under-kept. Basically I feel like I dropped off a clean, happy dog and got back one that one extremely stressed and flea-ridden. Not only do I have to deal with paying for an additional night for no reason, but I will also have to get some sort of flea treatment for her too. I'm disappointed to say the least and I have never written reviews before, but this experience has motivated me to do so.
