Really kind and skilled groomers. Very professional and thorough. Worth it to me to make the trip here even though I no longer live local.

Took my dog Oati here for his first time getting groomed. He came out a happy boy! They did an amazing job, he was incredibly soft. This was also the only place that actually answered their phone and i was able to get in in 2 weeks.

I have been taking my schnauzer and cockapoo to the Barking Lot for awhile now... They do excellent work, actually answer their phone, or call you right back..and are wonderful with my dogs...Robin a groomer there and has been grooming Charlie and Cooper and is the best! We had our first visit on 11/1. I have 2 senior dogs and grooming is especially stressful for one of them. Due to Covid, we had to go over everything outside but I read reviews and their website enough to feel somewhat comfortable without going inside. Any uneasiness was gone once we met the groomers (sorry, I forgot their names). They listened to what we wanted and of a few of their quirks and off they went. 2 hours later, they were cute, clean and seemed relaxed. One of the groomers pointed out a concern to have a vet check out, so that's where we are headed tomorrow. I will definitely be returning and appreciate their caring and attentiveness.

Dropped my dog off and told her (a lady with gray hair, wasn’t introduced who she was) we wanted a trim on our golden doodle. Last time he was shaved down a bit, so we asked for a little longer than that. She proceeded to tell me about mats around his face, which no big deal I let her know if she needed to cut him down there that is fine- hair grows back. 2.5 hours late I came back, he’s COMPLETELY shaved, everywhere except the end of his tail. His ears were completely shaven down, and he had bad cuts at the end of each ear. She NEVER mentioned the cuts, let alone that fact that he was bleeding!! Nor did she say sorry at all. She told me how she cleaned his ears, and to be aware that since his ears are so short, he may want to shake them a lot which could cause a lot of build up of blood in his ears, which he would then have to go to the vet for. Didn’t listen to a word we said, nor did she bother to say sorry. Unbelievable. Never coming back again.

Barking Lot was wonderful with my scared kitty. She was very matted. They didn't have to shave her as I expected they might, but worked out the mats and saved her beautiful coat. Thanks so much for going the extra mile.
