The staff at UP Vet Hospital are amazing. They are so loving and caring with their animals. Anytime I have any questions or concerns they are an easy phone call away. Dr. Vogel took special care of my cat before, during and after her surgery. Not hard for him, such a genuine and sincere guy! We are so thankful for this place!

We have been taking our pets to university park vet for over 3 years. After having horrible experiences and was forced to stay at the other vet for a year, it's just been wonderful how professional, reliable, honest, and responsive they are. The front desk people are friendly and helpful. Nurses and doctors are professional, patient, and knowledgeable. We usually see Dr Bird and he is knowledgeable, wonderful, honest, sincere, and straightforward about what he thinks our pets need. I would recommend this veterinary hospital to all my family members and friends . We had another female doctor a couple of times and she was excellent as well!

The staff is great, Dr. Vogal is very kind and to my PeDee, and is very thorough, and explains everything! I am so glad we switched!

Dr. Vogel is amazing! He did my dog's ACL surgery. He takes time to explain things, answer questions, and be available for anything needed.

We took Tinker, are 10 year old goldendoodle here for a 2nd opinion when she was diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Jeffrey Vogl and the staff were absolutely amazing!!! I tell everyone now to take their pets here!!! Love them!!!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Dr Dawson is amazing. She did surgery on two have my kittens who had umbilical hernias. One had a bigger one then she felt comfortable with so she took extra precautions to make sure he would come through safely from his surgery. Also last night my kitten hurt his back leg and I called this morning and they told me to bring him in right away. They truly care about your pets This is the only place I will bring my pets.

Vet "hospital" closed to new patients for at least two months. Ridiculous.

Seven weeks to schedule vaccinations, you guys need to hire more vets and techs.

Took my boy there he has hip dysplasia and a bad back end they was wonderful with him got him in quick got him on medicine I would recommend them to anybody thank you for taking care of my boy Sam.

I used to love bringing my fur babies here. We recently had our dog get sick and took her here immediately thinking she was getting the best care. Here's her story. Our girl Miley was acting like her normal self last Tuesday, then Wednesday she wouldn't eat her food and seemed a little "under the weather." We waited a full day to see if she maybe just ate something earlier the day before that didn't agree with her. Then her breathing changed and we got her into University Park Vet Wednesday morning. They expressed concern in her breathing but did no imaging of her chest or abdomen. All they did was blood work, found that her white blood cells were elevated, and diagnosed her with an infection. They gave us some antibiotics, told us she would get better within five days, and sent us on our way. On Saturday night she declined even further. We rushed her to an emergency vet early Sunday morning where they immediately did a quick beside ultrasound and found that she was bleeding internally. They did further imaging and blood work and found a mass on her spleen that had ruptured, which was causing the bleeding. Since she had gotten to this point there was nothing anyone could do and we had to let her go. Now, I'm not super upset about the misdiagnosis, even though we could have intervened and gotten more time with her with surgery possibly. What I am insanely upset about is that it is now Tuesday, almost an entire week after taking Miley in to see them, and we've had no phone call to check in to see how she is doing. Absolute worst way to take care of your patients. Will never use them or their service again, and will definitely spread the word about their patient care. Please avoid going here. Things have changed and they're not what they used to be.

Really great, got my puppy in as new patient quickly as the rescue required. I was late due to weather and they were totally accommodating did not make me wait any extra time and Dr. Bird was very nice and informative.
