Better off going to an animal hospital unless you have unlimited amounts of money. This place will charge you for things they can’t even explain what it is. Be ready to drop a TON of money for a basic visit!

Cascade Hospital for Animals has always taken great care of our pets, and the Breton location is no exception!

They are my vets. Good people.

They are always very nice when I come with my dog but I am not sure they know what they’re doing. They told me I could come into the exam room so I could help keep the dog calm but then when I got there said I couldn’t come in so they could take the dog into the back and “restrain” her as they saw fit. Then after about 15 minutes came and told me they couldn’t examine her so I had to give her an ear swab and her shot. Still had the nerve to charge me even after admitting they didn’t do anything. I’d be embarrassed to be affiliated with this organization.

I love the people here. Took my dog in for an emergency visit last year and they were wonderful to work with. They do a great job with my anxious dog on regular visits too. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to have a Chow Hound right next door! Would definitely recommend!

I really have had nothing but great experiences here, from a wonderful visit with my chronically ill bunny, to the compassionate care during the autopsy and cremation of my late chinchilla. I found out today that this location will no longer be serving exotic animal parents and their pets, and I am deeply saddened and disappointed by this decision. Dr. Ritzman and her team have been so amazing and helpful to me and I hope I can find someone just as skilled, kind, and caring for the future.

I wrote an honest review and somehow they removed it. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Vet was belittling and rude. They also charge literally 3 times as much as other vets

Great vet fast easy and all the nurses are kind and very polite

I'm really sad to be writing such a negative review but I had a terrible experience! My kitten was bitten by a dog, and although he wasn't bleeding I thought it would be best to have him looked at to make sure he was ok. I pulled up to the clinic and had to basically beg the employee to even look at my kitten. She just told me if he wasn't visibly bleeding then he's fine. I started crying a little and finally she grabbed him from me and pet his head briefly, told me he was cute, and told me to go home. When I got home I watched the little guy like a hawk to see any changes in his behavior. I noticed he wasn't interested in any food or water at all, and only wanted to sleep. This was very unlike him, so I brought him back to the drive-up clinic. I apologized for bothering them for the second time that day, but my kitten wasn't acting like himself, and he now had a growing dark mark on his stomach. There was a different woman that looked at him and after checking that they were at max capacity for pets, thankfully sent me to the proper emergency clinic, where he had to be held overnight with the possibility of abdominal surgery. Long story short: if I had listened to them the first time, I probably would have lost my kitten that night!

Dr. Ritzman and the whole staff here are wonderful. They have gone above and beyond to care for my guinea pig Ted. I feel so comforted that he is under their care.

Great people, top notch care, send you reminders when pets are due for stuff.

The techs are sweet and all. But I’m not pleased that they insist on certain vaccines, don’t tell you any costs, and criticize diet choice. My pup was there yesterday. (Been to this location twice now after already changing vets once before) was not explained any costs until after services rendered.$$$ As if I have an endless cash supply. I have a 5 month old GSD. Perfect heath. Fed a biologically appropriate diet and I get told that he should be switched to a kibble. Sounds like brand sponsorship to me. “Don’t feed your dog something that will promote long term health and will ensure less health problems Eat a commercially manufactured kibble from companies (that set their own product standards and have no outside enforced quality regulations) that will cause issues later in life so more appointment are required and profit is made”. This is the impression I get. Dr. Malik said that she “won’t judge an owners decision to feed their dog raw, but insists switching to a kibble. That she wouldn’t get on her soapbox about it because owners who insist on raw feeding are committed to their reasons for it.” Well, that statement is in fact passing judgment. We will not be going back.

Love my vet Dr. Buffa! She is kind, friendly, and takes great care of my pet. She’s always very informative and patient with me if I have questions about something. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful!

This place was excellent. Great staff and I love the app that they use.

I've been taking my german shepherd here for over a year, and every time I go the staff is very nice. They are also very attentive to her dislike of masks and make sure she feels comfortable going with them for the curbside service.

I will definitely be making this my pets veterinarian office from here on out. I am very happy with my visit, and my pet is too :-) ????

We recently moved to GR and had our first visit with Breton Village. Of COURSE it was during the pandemic so it was a little unusual but the staff was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. They gave us options for our pets care and talked us through each one. They’re definitely our go-to vet from now on!

If you have a rabbit, bring them here. Our rabbit was misdiagnosed 3 times before Dr. Ritzman got her exactly what she needed and we can't thank her enough.

I felt as though they were very pushy and like my dog was just another client once I told them I wouldn't be using them regularly!

Our first visit for our pup was with Dr Denison and she was absolutely lovely to work with. She let us know what was happening with each step and took great care to make sure our pup was happy and calm throughout every part. We're going to switch vets with our cat to bring her here because of how wonderful our experience was. Price-wise it wasn't too bad either. It's a tiny bit more expensive in relation to the others in the area but WELL worth it. You've got weekend hours, knowledgeable and kind vets, and a great location. Can't recommend enough.

Very kind staff, amazing vet tech

Clean, professional, and wonderful staff. Brought my dog to get his nails trimmed knowing he really hates it and might put up a fight. Staff worker so great with him, offering cheese and peanut butter (with my permission) to calm him. I was so impressed with their care and attention.

Dr. Siegle is a phenomenal vet. The whole practice is clean, friendly, and inviting. Our little Mocha was handled with care and the vet gave us tons of advice as new dog owners as well as making sure our puppy left feeling happy and healthy. We are customers for life!

Dr. Anderson and the entire team at Breton Village are phenomenal! We have a very fearful GSD and the staff pulls out all the stops to ensure he can relax and feel comfortable. I will never go anywhere else!

Best clinic in town in my opinion. This and the cascade location. Great workers and they treat your dog with great care. Although my dog hates going to the vet they take good care of him. Highly satisfied.

i highly recommend this vet! my boyfriends toy poodle got his teeth removed and the staff took such amazing care of him. they even wrapped him in a heated blanket after the procedure. i now take my 4 month old yorkie to the Breton village location and am just so impressed by the quality of their care.
