American Legion Club Grand Haven, Michigan

Wife and I both signed up as new members. Club manager Neil was very helpful.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Good food and drinks. Great views of the water and boats going by.

Love sitting on the deck.

We stopped by with our American Legion card on our phone. Paid in full for 2021. The bartender refused us service !!! I have boarded many flights with my boarding pass on my phone ! I have given my vaccination passport on my phone to enter much more prestigious businesses ! But the snobby Grand Haven American Legion won't serve a draft beer and a glass of wine to a full fledged MEMBER with their card saved on their phone ! Pathetic ! What century and country do they live in ??? It's the UN American Legion !

We went as guests of members and it was great.

We had hamburgers twice o in the last month. They were truly a disappointment .

A great place to have a drink with friends. Beautiful in the summer sitting outside on the upper deck with a view of Lake Michigan .

One of the nicest Legion halls I've ever been to. There is a second story deck that looks over the channel so you can relax and watch the boats go by. Definitely worth stopping by.

Always a fun place! They are being cautious but not unfriendly or too stern, just careful! The bartenders are happy and always ready to go the extra mile to serve you. The commander even came and talked to us!

If you are lucky enough to find a seat on the patio to watch the boats go by in the canal, then it is worth the trip from G.R., otherwise not so much. To bad they don't have more seating outside. ????

Great menu. I had the chicken and bacon sandwich. My hubby had 28 burger. So very good. Both came with fries.

Closed because of the many bars that did not follow state guidelines

Oh yeah. Great place with a fantastic view. We switched membership from GR to GH two years ago. Sweet move.
