Riverside Animal Hospital Flushing, Michigan

This veterinary office is very professional. I've had only good experiences. It can be frustrating being used to getting in an and out of the vets office, but with the huge influx of "pandemic puppies" a wait should be anticipated. I've recently switched to this veterinary office because it's closer to home and I can tell you that at both vets offices I experienced longer wait times. I appreciate that they take dogs in by level of need first because I've had to wait on the longer side for a regular check up, but then when my dog scratched his eye he was in sooner. When I'm waiting for a regular check up I just try to remember that another dog might be in more pain or is having a more life threatening issue than mine. When I took my dog in to get neutered they called to check and see how he was doing. When I called back later for more info on medicine they were very gracious and kind when answering my questions and I never felt like I was being rushed or bothering them. The time and care taken for the animals is great in my experience.

I only had good experiences at this vet. After my dog had a surgery the vet called in to check in on him, which was very thoughtful.

The care to animals seems great. The wait time is ridiculous! I get there before they open and minimally have a wait time of two hours from the time the office opens. I would also really like it if they allowed one customer in at a time while their pet is being seen. I have questions that are not necessarily easy to explain on the phone

Entire staff and all the Vets are kind, patient, caring, compassionate!! We appreciate the detailed explanations and follow-up. Everyone seems to love their job which is a HUGE plus????????????

Heartless. Only care about money. Won't take my dogs here ever again. Would rather take them anywhere else. Had MANY terrible experiences here, won't get into it because if I did this review would be 5 paragraphs long.

I am so glad that I took our dog at RAH, Dr. Koan is a great vet doctor, she is compassionate and care with my Bella. She explained to me what is going on with Bella and referred us to OVRS to make sure our dog get the right treatment, she also gave me some info what to do if I need some financial help, which I didnt do, but it was a good idea and I was so impressed with her trying to help our dog and our financial situation if we need it. They talk to the OVRS vet Dr to make sure our dog be treated right away. Thank you so much Riverside Animal hospital for everything you did. Our dog is doing great, she is playing now, eating good and happy! God bless you guys????????

It's always the hardest day to say goodbye to a loved pet. In my case, she was way more than a pet. She was my best friend, and the only consistent thing in my life. But the staff and Dr were so genuine and sincere. Wish we would have met on better times. But thank you for fitting me in when everyone else was not able to help me.

That group works real hard and they do it they know their job kitten find another place as good

Extremely helpful in getting our paperwork in order to take our dog with us when we move to Japan. Very courteous and knowledgeable.

You spend alot of time sitting in your vehicle, waiting for treatment for your fur baby. They don't do appointments and only offer curbside service. Last time I took my pet there we sat in vehicle for 4 hours. A week ago. Got there before 8 am ( three others in front of us for care) and took 3.5 hrs to be seen. Not a good experience.

Its fine. I'll be glad when we can go inside with our pets again.

Best vet in Genesee County! They are walk-in only (no appointments) but it's worth. Even my pets love them.

They saved my rabbit's life

Have used Riverside in the past and they have been wonderful. Very professional and sympathetic, but very upset since they went to curbside that they cannot give an estimate on what it would cost to have a procedure done if you tell them exactly what it is. Think it is just all about getting you in there now and then jacking up cost. Extremelybdisappoonted.

Always pleased with my service there , yes they are busy and you do have to wait , but that’s to be expected. I’ve always had good care there for my fur babies .

Left my house trying to call and tell I was on the way. Then sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes trying to get a hold and they never picked up. Very disappointed.

Amazing Staff! We needed emergency help with our dog, Sam. Sam is an enrichment animal for my disabled son. My son is also seriously immunocompromised. They really went the extra mile to keep both our dog and my son safe! Definitely highly recommend this clinic. Thank you so much!

I cannot recommend Riverside enough. I took my beloved cat, Richie, there for urgent medical issues. Sadly, he could not be treated and they recommended euthanasia. They answered all of my questions and even showed me the x-rays at my request. It was the hardest, worst day of my life and they were so kind and understanding the whole time. I truly appreciate their support and care in this extremely difficult situation.

Sat in parking lot for 40 plus minutes on hold. Watched other people that pulled in after us get service right away. Terribly ran animal hospital.

Dr. Hall was nice and personable on the phone, as there was only curbside service. The young woman who came to get my dog was also nice, gentle and explained discharge instructions thoroughly and patiently.
