Key-Lore Kennel Flushing, Michigan

We use Key Lore Kennels in Flushing for our dog grooming needs for many many years. We have a toy poodle who was cut badly recently during a grooming visit. It required a visit to the veterinarian and he received 2 staples in his hind leg and an antibiotic shot. They said he was knicked by a comb because he probably had a skin tag. He didn’t have a skin tag and was bleeding when we arrived home. I would not recommend that you use KeyLore Kennel for any grooming needs!

Do not take your pet to Key-lore. I'll admit, I was there 10 min before closing, but the way the staff member and the owner treated me for "being late" was kinda ridiculous. It's a bit frustrating when the business is still open, you can see your dogs in the cages barking/yelping at you, but then to be told that you're not able to sign out your own family and then to be treated poorly by the owner. On top of that, both times my dogs ( German Shepherd and maltese) came home both times scratching at their mouths/lips. It sort of seems like the owners/staff take absolutely no care in monitoring the dogs in their care. And do not be tricked by the "report cards" they give owners. Any one of us could take a picture of our dogs outside in a yard with "details" about which dogs they made friends with. It's a gimmick to make owners think their family is cared for at this place. If you want professionals to care for/monitor your puppies, then go to Riverside Animal Hospital. At least the staff their are *actually* certified to monitor and care for your pups.

Sharon is absolutely awesome. She does a great job grooming and she is also very conscientious about caring for your pets. She also has a really good staff. Highly recommend!

They take GREAT care of your pets!

Keylore always takes amazing care of your dogs. They run around and play with other dogs and when they get home they are nice and relaxed. Especially good for new puppies and hyper dogs

We had to use their cremation services on a very short notice. They made us a same day appointment and our sweet kitty was ready to come home 2 days later. Faye was so kind and compassionate with my kids. Pricing was good too. Highly recommend.

I love Key-lore. We put our Jupe through obedience training. Sharon did a fantastic job with her training and training us as doggie parents. We have boarded her there and they do a great job. I love when she is there that we can get on facebook and watch her play. Great place.

Key-lore is awesome. We take our dog there every day and he’s excited and waiting by his lead every morning because he can’t wait to see the staff and his friends. He plays so hard during the day that he’s nice and tired at home which is good for us. The staff has always been very nice, courteous and accommodating to us and they really love all the dogs that come through. High marks all around!

Key-Lore doggie day care has been the best for our puppy Luna. We started her there as a puppy and wanted her to learn how to socialize with other dogs. It has been a wonderful experience working with them and them knowing the personalities of the dogs they have for doggie day care to pair up with our girl. Luna shows excitement and is ready in the morning for some play time with her friends as she hustles out of the truck to the office door. The videos they take each day of the dogs playing are fun to watch on Facebook and the tired out puppy makes for a little more relaxing evening after a long days work. The staff has been very helpful being a first time dog owner answering the random questions that have came up. The one time that we needed help with training Luna to load up after she became stubborn and started refusing, the staff was able to fix the problem in one week working with her and giving us some one on one training when we picked her up at the end of the day. Key-Lore for Luna and us has been the best decision we could have made, being first time dog owners.
